Chapter 552 - 552 Whereabouts
552 Whereabouts
“We know all your whereabouts. The day before you held the press conference, you left the company to see that person, right?”
Su Wan’s question seemed to have a magical power, luring Jiang Xin into her trap. Coupled with the fact that Su Wan didn’t look like she was joking, Jiang Xin’s heart skipped a beat. Su Wan indeed sent someone to keep an eye on her.
Su Jing and the others also looked at Jiang Xin. The current scene was really like a group of plainclothes police interrogating a criminal.
Jing Chen lowered his head and silently took out his phone to send Zhao Lin a message.
Jiang Xin shook her head. How could she have such thoughts? However, she couldn’t help but think like this, as if she would really have such a day.
Many people had already left the hotel’s banquet hall, including the hotel staff. Hence, only the Jing and Su families, the bodyguards, and Jiang Xin were left.
Jiang Xin felt inexplicably flustered. She secretly thought that the masked man was her last trump card. Even if the two of them were in a cooperative relationship, once he was exposed, everything she did would lose its meaning.
“Who?” Jiang Xin lowered her head and adjusted her emotions. When she looked up, her face was blank. “Su Wan, who can I meet? What can I do under your surveillance?”
She was still pretending to be stupid. This way, Su Wan would be helpless against her.
Su Wan was a little impatient. Jiang Xin had been denying and pretending not to know today. If this continued, they would have to stay here and waste time.
“Jiang Xin, think about it before you speak,” Su Wan warned coldly.
Jiang Xin looked at Su Wan’s reaction and suddenly felt a little happy. She smiled. “Su Wan, so what if I tell you that I did those things now? After walking out of this hotel, I’ll take the evidence and tell them that I didn’t do it. No one will believe you.”
Su Wan started to get angry, but she had always advised herself not to let Jiang Xin’s words affect her emotions and judgment. She also smiled at Jiang Xin. “Is that so? But we’ve already found traces of you creating fake evidence and… traces of the person behind you.”
These words were half true and half false. Other than the Jing and Su families, no one could tell. When Jiang Xin heard this, her eyes flickered. Who asked her to do both?
Jiang Xin’s heart raced, partly because she was nervous and partly because she was afraid.
This meant that Su Wan had really discovered what she had done.
Even though the fake evidence was made for her by the masked man, it was also under her name, and Lin Xi was involved. If she was really discovered, then today’s family gathering between the Jing and Su Families was completely a trap, all for her to jump in.
Jiang Xin’s heart was in a mess. She kept shaking her head and muttered, “No, that person said that the evidence he made was flawless. You definitely can’t tell.”
The banquet hall was very big and could accommodate more than a hundred people, but there were only about ten people now. It seemed empty and quiet, so even if Jiang Xin’s voice was very soft, it still accurately entered everyone’s ears.
Su Ye, his wife, and Qin Lan were shocked and disgusted by this. Jing Chen and Su Jing had always been the ones investigating and dealing with these things, so many of them did not know. Now that they heard it with their own ears, they were extremely angry.
Jing Chen and the other two did not have much of a reaction. If Jing Jing was an accident, then such a scene was expected. Their suspicions a while ago were correct. In addition, when they spread the news that they were holding a family gathering, they had a feeling that Jiang Xin might make a move. Therefore, their investigations on the fake evidence over the past few days finally progressed. It was just in case of emergencies. They did not expect to confront Jiang Xin so quickly.
“Impossible! You’re all lying to me!” Jiang Xin roared. “Don’t try to provoke me with this kind of provocation. It’s useless!”
Su Wan set a trap for her, but she refused to go in.
Jing Chen estimated that it was about time and sneered. His voice was especially clear in the quiet hall. “Is that so? What about her? Didn’t she get fake evidence for you?”
At the entrance of the banquet hall, Zhao Lin walked over in large strides, his breath a bit shaky. It was evident he received orders to quickly move out and to immediately rush over after succeeding. Behind him were two bodyguards, holding the tied-up Lin Xi in their hands.
