Chapter 1122 What If It Were Ashlyn Instead

Brianna was so livid that she clenched her teeth. “Why'd he have to hang up so quickly? Would it kill him to talk to me a little longer?”

Once again, the image of Trevor enthusiastically nodding and bowing to Ashlyn flashed before her eyes.

Rage swirled within her entire body at the thought.

I don't care if you don't want me around. I'm heading over.

After hanging up the phone, Brianna went straight to the underground garage and drove off in her Porsche, heading toward Aviary Arena.

Half an hour later, the car pulled up at the arena entrance. She then got out of the car, took off her white lab coat, and tossed it onto the seat casually.

After flashing her pass, she walked along the long hallway and stepped into the elevator before making her way straight to each team's training grounds.

Trevor was part of a team called LP, so the woman followed the signs all the way to Team LP's lounge before gently knocking on the door.

“Come in,” a man's voice rang from inside.

Brianna pushed the door open, only to see several team members chatting with the coach while watching a replay of their last match.

They were drawing from their experiences to make all the necessary improvements.

Upon hearing the sound of high heels, everyone turned to look at Brianna.

Trevor froze momentarily before gazing at her. “How did you get in?”

Brianna casually waved her staff pass at him. “It's just a matter of getting a pass.”

Trevor shot his coach a glance before rising to his feet. “Come with me.”

He stepped out of the room, with Brianna following after him. “Where are the tickets? What's wrong? Are you upset to see me?” she asked.

With a flirtatious expression, she playfully ran her fingers through her long hair, the faint scent of her shampoo lingering in the atmosphere.

Trevor began to feel agitated, but he suppressed his emotions and answered expressionlessly, “I'm really busy with the games, Ms. Jackovich. I don't have time to entertain you, so now that you're here, you can either watch the match or just wander around nearby—but please don't bother me, okay?”

Feeling at his wit's end, the young man pulled out two tickets. “I got you another ticket from my colleague. These are both for you.”

Just don't come looking for me anymore. It's driving me crazy! I'm not into you at all, so why are you constantly trying to be around me?

Despite those internal screams, Trevor's expression remained aloof.

Brianna immediately felt a pang in her heart; it hurt and made her uncomfortable.

Don't you know how lucky you are to have a top socialite like me to even fall for an e-sports player like you? You ingrate! What does Ashlyn have that I don't? Is she as influential as I am?

Turned pale with anger, she took the two tickets while struggling to hold back the resentful look on her face. “Would you have behaved the same way if Ashlyn were to come over instead?”

A look of disbelief crossed Trevor's handsome, usually-cheery face as he glanced at her. “Can you even compare yourself to her?”

Brianna was appalled in an instant. “I'm the number one socialite in Maredania! What the hell is she compared to me? You'd better not cross the line, Trevor!”

“She's my boss. Everything I have today is all thanks to her.” Trevor frowned while glaring at the exasperated-looking woman. “So, if I ever hear you talk smack about her again, don't blame me for not you any mercy.”

With that, he turned around with an upright posture and left.

Are you trying to win the championship for that b*tch too? Everything you do, you do for her. What am I to you, then? Well, fine! Since you want to win so badly for her, I won't hold back anymore.

Meanwhile, Sabrina gripped her fists while waiting for Brianna. Despite her long nails digging deep into her palms, she seemed to feel nothing at all.

She had a nagging suspicion in her heart.

Did Brianna not manage to get the tickets? But it's not like I can rush her. She's going to go off at me if I p*ss her off again.

Not daring to incur Brianna's wrath again, Sabrina could do nothing but wait.

She finally received a local express delivery near the end of the day, and after signing for her parcel, she opened it up to find two tickets inside.
