Ashlyn opened the car door and got out first.

Lucas and Spencer also got out of the car, escorting the mother-daughter duo into the hotel elevator.

“There's no damage to the bone. It's just a sprain. A few days of rest will make it better.” Ashlyn put down Yuri's foot, then turned to the little girl with big eyes. “What's your name?”

“My name is Renae Guzman.”

The little girl spoke in a babyish voice.

“What a lovely name.” Ashlyn chuckled, patting her on the head.

She took a deep breath, her eyes filled with affection as she looked at the innocent Renae. “Renae, does your head still hurt?”

“It doesn't hurt anymore...” Renae shook her head.

Just then, their food was delivered to the room.

Spencer had specifically ordered the most exquisite and expensive set meal.

There was a balanced mix of meat and vegetables. They were rich in aroma and flavor.

As soon as the container was opened, a burst of fragrance immediately filled the air.

“Go ahead and eat. The kid is starving.”

Ashlyn settled down on the couch, and Lucas also took a seat next to her.

“Honey,” Lucas said softly, “whatever you want to do, I'll always be by your side.”
