As Sloan spoke, cold sweat drenched his back, and his heart clenched with bouts of unease swamping him.

He knew that Trojan horse virus best, for he was the one who sent Yosef to plant it.

He even specifically ordered Yosef to learn how to activate it.

It was rumored that the Trojan horse virus was incredibly powerful.

Moreover, he had to plead and lower himself to buy it at a high price from Herald's younger brother, Hugo. It was said that the man had some connections with Mysterious yet Majestic.

The reason Herald was so high and mighty Zaewora was none other than his brother being on good terms with Mysterious yet Majestic.

Therefore, the President held the Cook family in high regard, especially Herald.

Hugo was a computer whiz who was very much renowned in Zaewora. Herald also had a great talent in computer science. The entire nation's computer system was in the hands of the two brothers.

He suppressed the shock within, feigning calmness.

No matter what, I got it from Hugo. Herald wouldn't just hang his own brother out to dry, would he?

“Then, explain this.”

Herald had his assistant turn on the mini projector in his office to project directly onto the pristine white wall.

Subsequently, the video of Yosef sneaking into Section Six's workroom in the hotel was played for everyone to see.

The video was clear, and his face was plainly visible.

Sloan's face went pale. “Why is Yosef always causing trouble? Why did he go to Section Six's workroom for no reason? He never knows his limits, but this is too much! I'll call him right now and get him over here!”

“No, it's okay!” Herald couldn't help but scoff. “Bring him in!”

Before Sloan could gather his wits about him, a loud thud rang out as a man roughly tossed a burlap sack down at his feet.

At once, he was taken aback. He then heard whimpering from inside the burlap sack and suffered a scare.

He couldn't help taking two steps back, “Someone is in there?”

The mouth of the burlap sack wasn't tied. As it slowly slid down, a man crawled out from inside. He was gagged with a white cloth, and his hands were bound with rope. He looked exceedingly disheveled, his face bruised and swollen.

Nonetheless, one could vaguely make out his initial countenance. Following closer inspection, Sloan's face instantly flushed bright red. “Yosef? What happened to you?”

He gaped at Yosef incredulously before swinging his gaze to Herald with a frown.

“What's the meaning of this, Mr. Cook? Even if Yosef entered Section Six's room, you can't prove that he was the one who planted the Trojan horse virus there. He might have just been curious and went in for a look at the interior decoration. How could you have him beat to a pulp? Where's your regard for the Guzman and Lacey families? We've always kept to our own. Our families have shown nothing but respect to the Cook family. What right do you have to treat my nephew like this?”

Usually, respect was given where due. But they had then pinned Yosef to the ground and beaten him up.

If he didn't even bother to protest, the Cook family might pick on them even more.

Everyone present was taken aback by Sloan's lengthy tirade.

Yosef sneaked into the room to check out the décor and furnishings? Is he taking us for fools or three- year-old kids?

The sight of Sloan calmly rambling incessantly made it feel like he really regarded everyone as fools.

Herald seethed with anger.

If it weren't for him, there wouldn't be such a mess. Section Six is now a hot commodity, with many

small countries fawning over Lucas. I, too, have to rely on the man. Yet, he still can't grasp the current situation. Argh! How infuriating! He can bring about his own ruin if he so wishes it, but if he drags us all down with him, he can't blame me for showing him no mercy!

Someone who could make it to the position of minister undoubtedly had some tricks up his sleeve.

He locked eyes with Sloan, his expression dark as he enunciated, “Yosef has already confessed. He planted a Trojan horse virus in Section Six's computer, and it was under your orders.”
