Jasper leaned in and whispered, “Veronica, do you have any feelings for my friend Mason?” as he looked at Veronica’s
expression.
“Hmm?” Veronica paused, confused.
Jasper said hurriedly, “When I say ‘like’, I don’t mean the kind of liking you have for siblings. I mean the kind of liking you have for a boyfriend. You don’t have a boyfriend now, do you? So…would you consider me, Mason?”
