“I heard that you’ve been living alone in your old house before
moving to your current one,” Grace said.
“Yes,” she replied.
“Let me take you there,” Grace said, instructing the driver in
the front seat.
The car slowly left the school.
“Why did you leave your home to live in your old house?”
Grace asked.
“Why do you want to leave home and live in the old house?”
Grace asked.
“I feel it’s quieter over there. Besides, I’m already grown up now, so it’s okay for me to live alone. And when my mom
passed away, she left me a bank account with some money in it, so my living expenses won’t be a problem,” Veronica said.

“No need,” Veronica interrupted Grace. “I know that my father and stepmother have done many bad things under the name of the Reed family.
