My OP Minion System in the Apocalypse

Chapter 221 Minion Force

Chapter 221 Minion Force

After completing the intricate design of the city, I headed back to my residence. It was time for me to have lunch and attend to other matters later. My warrior minions were undergoing intense training and I was patiently waiting for their training to be completed so I could dispatch them on a covert spying mission. If the intelligence training yields the results that I anticipate, it will greatly benefit us in the future.

My Stage 1 intelligence variant warrior minions will be able to gather intelligence on other kingdoms and allow me to systematically dismantle those kingdoms and acquire their resources. I was eagerly awaiting Chloe's arrival so we could enjoy a meal and get to work. Eventually, Chloe arrived and I called the minion manager to bring us some food. I requested extra servings as I was feeling particularly ravenous that day. After a short while, he brought us a sumptuous meal of finely cooked meat and bread. Chloe and I devoured the food and then left the house. The training was almost complete, and I could see that the construction of the towering wall was almost finished. The moat and other digging tasks were also nearing completion.

I wasn't particularly concerned about the construction as the city plan was complete and it was up to the minions to construct everything according to the plan. The instructions had been transferred to their systems, and now all we had to do was wait. The minions responsible for gathering resources were diligently performing their duties. Wood was being supplied in abundance and stones were also on their way. I checked the resources in my system and noticed that the stones were slowly diminishing, but there was still enough for my work to continue smoothly. Therefore, I had nothing to worry about. I had a sufficient amount of stones in my arsenal to continue working.

After a while, the warrior minion training was finally complete and I began inspecting the changes that had occurred during the training. The minions looked sharp and even more formidable than before, even though they had undergone intelligence variant processing. The minions had also bulked up slightly. The intelligence variant warrior minions now resembled humans more closely.

As I looked at the minions, I was momentarily unsure if they were AI robots or actual human beings. The intelligence training exceeded my expectations and produced excellent results. Now, I had to dispatch the minions to gather information on nearby kingdoms, towns, villages, and any other settlements in this world.

The warrior minions were equipped with advanced AI that allowed them to behave like humans. The robotic feel in their speech was gone and each one had a unique voice, a characteristic that is typical of humans. They also had different pitches and other nuances in their voices, hand gestures, and facial expressions. They were almost indistinguishable from humans.

Chloe came and saw them conversing. She was amazed and said, "This is remarkable. One would never guess that these are minions and not actual humans. This new training is splendid, but what are your plans now?"

"These new intelligence variant minions will go out and search for cities and kingdoms with valuable resources. They will assess the military strength of these places and bring that information back to me. After careful consideration, we will launch an attack on those cities and acquire the resources for ourselves."

I gave the minions their instructions and sent them on their way. My expectations for them were high. They marched out of the city and Chloe, and I watched them go. Afterwards, I opened my advanced control menu to train some additional spies.

There were a total of 70 warrior minions remaining, and now I had 18 advanced warrior minions at my disposal. Therefore, I thought it would be a good idea to put 10 more warrior minions into the intelligence variant training. The training session for the brute force minions had also been completed, and I needed to assess their progress.

I selected ten warrior minions and placed them in the intelligence variant training for a period of 6 hours. This was the first stage of training, so it would take a maximum of 6 hours to complete. Once I had placed them in the training program, it was time for me to evaluate the progress of Stage 1 brute force warrior minions.

The brute force warrior minions were significantly bulkier compared to before. They had gained significant size, but their behaviour had not changed. The minions were not acting or speaking like humans. Each training program produced different results. However, the size of the brute force minions was truly impressive. They were near twice the size of regular warrior minions.

I decided to put the newly trained brute force warrior minions to the test against a regular warrior minion. The first test was a race, and the brute force minion easily outran the warrior minion. Next, we tested their brute strength by giving both minions a stone and instructing them to break it. They grabbed sledgehammers and began striking the stone with all their might. The brute force minion shattered the stone in just two strikes, while the other minion was still struggling to make a dent.

After that, I told the minions to fight each other without causing any damage. The outcome of the fight was swift as the warrior minion was sent soaring through the air after just a few seconds of combat. Overall, this training had been quite successful, but it appeared that the strength of the warrior minions was gradually diminishing. In the future, I would need to create new warrior minions and train them at advanced stages to maintain a formidable army.

With this, I'll have some good offensive potential in the future.
