Kaylee responded, then asked, “Grandma, after I get my job sorted, can I move back to my old place?”
Sienna casually stirred her drink, asking breezily, “You’ve been doing all right here, haven’t you? Why suddenly want to go back?”
Kaylee said softly, “I’ve gotten used to life over there, and it’ll definitely be more convenient for work. The old house is just too far from the office.”
Sienna sipped her coffee, saying. “If you think it’s too far, have Robinson drive you to and from work. I worry about you living there alone.”
Kaylee watched Sienna’s face, relaxed when she saw her gentle expression
“Grandma, there’s another reason I want to go back I want to bring my mom back to live with me. She recently had surgery to remove a cyst, but she’s not recovering well. The place she’s staying is too small, it’s not a good environment, she’s not sleeping well, and her wound is healing slowly. I’m really worried about her, so I want to bring her back and take care of her.”

Kaylee quickly said. “She never told me about the surgery I heard about it from someone else.” She couldn’t help but blame Liam, “Even if he’s angry at her, how could he just ignore her when she’s had such a major surgery?”
Sienna put down her coffee cup and asked Kaylee. “Do you think it was too harsh of your brother to kick her out of the Reed family?”
Kaylee hesitated, then carefully said. “She’s still our mother. Even if she didn’t contribute a lot, she still worked hard. Didn’t you always tell us how important it is to respect our parents?”
Sienna glanced at her, “I also told you that respect with wisdom is true respect, why didn’t you remember that?”
Kaylee was at a loss for words.
“Do you only see your brother’s ruthlessness? Have you ever thought about why?”
Kaylee blurted out, “Isn’t it all because Celeste stirred the pot? My brother and mom’s problems started when she married into the family. My brother was never this heartless to our mom before.”

Ask yourself, has Celeste ever let your brother being harsh to your mother materially or emotionally? Every holiday when they visit relatives, are the gifts and money they give your mother the same as they give me?
Celeste has done everything a daughter–in–law should do. What about your mother?
Their wedding was a big deal, but she slept in till eight o’clock on her son’s wedding day and didn’t care about the preparations!”
Kaylee was slightly rebellious and said lowly, “My brother married a woman who doesn’t help his career at all.”
