He had misunderstood before, thinking Steven was into Celeste, so he insisted on coming along.
Now, both families had accepted Celeste, but his relationship with her was unclear, so it wouldn’t be appropriate for him to show up.
The car quickly arrived at the agreed–upon place
Liam took a mask and put it on her, then helped straighten her hair, “Don’t be scared, call me if anything happens. I’ll be waiting outside for you.”
