“Mrs. Kelley must have misunderstood; I’m not pregnant.” Celeste said.
Skyler seemed unconvinced, ‘Mrs. Kelley said both you and Liam admitted to being pregnant. How could that be false?”
Celeste had no choice but to explain, “Mrs. Kelley probably didn’t understand what I meant. What I actually said was that we’d share the good news with everyone. We wouldn’t hide something as important as pregnancy from you, would we?”
“Martha said you haven’t been taking your medicine on time lately. What’s going on?” Skyler asked.
The maid was indeed sent by Skyler. Anything from their side would be known by Skyler.
Celeste could only make up an excuse for herself. “The hospital called a while ago, saying my mom’s condition wasn’t good. I accompanied her for a few days, and I didn’t take the medicine during that time. But I’ve been taking it on time since I got back.”
Skyler didn’t know whether to believe it or not, and after thinking for a moment, she said, “Tll pick you up tomorrow, and we’ll go to the hospital for a check-up”

Celeste really wanted to say that why not taking her son for a check-up instead? Maybe the problem was with him!

A normal check-up result might convince Skyler to stop her from taking the medicine, which would be a good thing for her

“By the way” Skyler suddenly asked before hanging up. “Liam locked Kaylee in the bathroom overnight. Do you know why? Did Kaylee upset him?” Celeste hesitated, then cautiously asked, “You’re saying Kaylee was locked in the bathroom last night?”
Skyler asked with a hint of sarcasm, “You don’t know about this?”
Celeste replied, shocked, “After the party last night, I went to see my mom and didn’t know what happened after. I remember Kaylee was sent home by Mr Francis”
Skyler, feeling a headache coming on, said, “I’m not sure what exactly happened either. This morning. Kaylee came back crying, saying Liam locked her in the bathroom and only let her out this morning I asked her what happened, but she wouldn’t say You were there last night too, so I thought you would know”
Celeste was stunned Liam locked Kaylee in the bathroom for the whole night? Was he nuts?
She didn’t think Liam did it to get revenge for her But when she recalled Steven coming to the old house to express his gratitude, Liam didn’t seem surprised at all, so he probably knew that Ms Garcia was locked up last night as well.
Steven didn’t mention the culprit, most likely because Liam had already punished Kaylee, giving the Garcia family an explanation.
Even if it was because of Ms Garcia, it was indirectly getting revenge for her!
With a bewildered look, Celeste said, “I don’t know, Liam didn’t tell me anything Mom, is Kaylee okay?”
