Celeste’s heart was racing, she quickly voiced out, “Maybe we should get a pro for this.”

Before Javier could respond, Nicolas chimed in, “What kind of special skills do you need to hold a reflector? All you need is some muscles. That’s about the only thing he got as a driver.”

Seeing that the original guy wasn’t coming anymore, Javier didn’t want to waste any more time. “Let’s go with that. Tell him how to hold it and start as soon as he’s ready” He said.

Everyone was busy with their tasks, except for Celeste who looked a bit tense

Due to the bed’s layout, the person holding the reflector had to stand at the head of the bed. From her position lying on the bed, she could see Liam holding the reflector, watching her.

She repeated in her mind to pretend he was a wall!

She ignored Liam, turned her gaze to Leonard, and got back into character, “I’ve heard the girls over there are all pretty”

Leonard, lying on top of Celeste, smirked, “Is that so? I’ll have to take a good look when I get there.”

Celeste glared at him, “You dare!”

Leonard chuckled. “I wouldn’t dare”

As he leaned in once again, Celeste was fully focused. But when she glanced up, she saw Liam.

His gaze was on her, his face hidden behind a mask, but those wounded eyes made Celeste feel guilty.

So, just before Leonard’s kiss could land, she subconsciously turned her head away

Caught off guard by her reaction, Leonard paused, taken aback.

Celeste quickly apologized, “Sorry, director, can we redo it? I wasn’t quite ready.”

Javier found it strange Zach Miller, who had worked with her before, had always praised her. During the filming of “Phoenix Fire“, Celeste was the most reliable actor, quickly getting into character and barely ever causing a retake

“What’s up, off your game?” Javier asked.

“No Celeste couldn’t admit that she couldn’t kiss because her ex–husband was watching from above. She had to come up with an excuse, “It’s my first time acting with a big star, and we have to film a kissing scene. I’m a bit nervous.”

Leonard was stunned, and then, his face turned red.

Liam saw Leonard’s awkward and helpless expression and felt a headache coming

Hearing her explanation, the director laughed and said, “I can understand that, take a moment to adjust and we’ll go again.”

‘Okay‘ Celeste was confident. She had faith in her professionalism.

However, things didn’t go as expected.

She messed up three times in a row. Each time, when Leonard came close to her, she would open her eyes according to the script, but always saw Liam first. What was supposed to be a romantic couple scene turned into a caught–in–the–act affair scene. How could she still kiss?

After the fifth attempt, everyone was showing signs of fatigue and dissatisfaction. Celeste knew that if this kept up, her reputation might take a hit. So, when Leonard said he wouldn’t dare for the fifth time,

she put her arm around his neck, took off the bracelet from her wrist and threw it aside. Then she pulled the cover over her head, turned her face, and moved her hand around on the blanket.

Liam, standing at the head of the bed, had a clear view of everything. A smile unconsciously tugged at the corner of his mouth.

Seeing the moving blanket, the director was taken aback for a moment and then yelled, “Cut!”

When Celeste lifted the blanket, she looked quite embarrassed, but to her surprise, Javier was very satisfied with this performance.
