Mrs. Kelley had no other choice but to kidnap Celeste directly.

After all, a normal person would call the police if they saw someone pass out like that, or at least send them to the hospital, right?
But none of this mattered to Mrs. Kelley and she didn’t want to think about it too much.
She took out some cash from her purse and handed it to one of the men, “Lay low for a while, and come back when things have settled down. (1 take care of everything. I won’t let you guys take the fall”
Celeste’s hands were tied in front of her, and her eyes were covered.
The effect of the drug had worn off. Now she was feeling unbearably hot all over, and what frightened her more than the discomfort was her current situation.
She didn’t know where she was, but anyone who would give her such a vile drug was obviously up to no good.
Was it rape, or human trafficking?
For a moment, Celeste even imagined herself being violently assaulted and Liam crying over her dead body.
Celeste struggled, the drug in her body making her feel hot and weak.
She could hardly even turn over, let alone breaking free from the bondage
Just as she was struggling, a hand suddenly touched her on the waist
