Chapter 515: Will (Part One)
The Jing Family had the DNA data of Jing Yiran and testing the ash would confirm their doubts.
Jing Yichen calmed himself down. He was still frowning but his expression had smoothened out.
He asked Tiger calmly, “Did you see him with your own eyes? Are you sure about this?”
Tiger nodded. “I saw him with my own eyes. He has the same appearance as Second Master, and according to the description of hospital staff, he has the same personality as him, as well. But I did not approach him, fearing that I might draw his attention. Lu was following him all the time and our men could not get any closer. So we are not 100% sure if he is really the Second Master. But we can get a strand of his hair and do a DNA test for further confirmation.”
Tiger was an honest man, but he was also very discreet, just like Jing Yichen.
Jing Yichen stayed silent for a moment and then said, “You do not need to do anything any more. He is Jing Yiran, for sure!” He had accurately guessed that Jing Yiran was still alive.
Tiger also believed the same. No one else in the world, unless twins, would look so much like each other.
“Master, should we do something about it?”
What Tiger meant was whether Jing Yiran should be killed or not. Jing Yichen shook his head. “No need for the time being. We don’t need too many of our men present there, either. Do not want to let Jing Yiran find them. He is not a big threat at the moment. Just focus your energy upon finding Yang Muyan. As soon as she is spotted, she needs to be killed immediately.”
Jing Yichen was not showing any mercy towards Jing Yiran. He was a ruthless man and had never regarded Jing Yiran as his younger brother. He would not hesitate to kill Jing Yiran when needed.
Jing Yichen was worried about Lu’s presence.
He knew who Lu really was and her capabilities.
She was an absolute killing machine. Obviously, she was protecting Jing Yiran and before Jing Yiran did anything of his own accord, his men should not take the initiative, otherwise the casualty number would be large.
Jing Yichen did not want his men to die for nothing. When Lu went on a killing spree, she did not blink even once. When she was threatened, she would shoot without hesitation before escaping from the scene, leaving no one alive.
Jing Yichen did not believe that after being shot in the head, Jing Yiran could live freely as a normal man. He also did not believe that after returning from near death, Jing Yiran would put the past behind him. He had taken his life and Jing Yiran would surely come looking for him to take revenge. So, he was not in a hurry. Jing Yiran would find him on his own and he was fairly confident about dealing with Jing Yiran. They had been fighting against each other for so many years and he knew this man well.
For now, he needed to deal with the biggest danger – Yang Muyan.
As long as Yang Muyan was not imprisoned like how Zhao Anan had been, she would certainly have left some traces behind and that would help them find her.
Jing Yichen did not need to step forward to search for Yang Muyan himself. He had numerous men who could do that for him.
He needed to concentrate on regaining the shares of Jingsheng Enterprise.
He had found the man who had Jing Yiran’s will and he was going to take that man to Jing Yiran’s bank locker with him. Then he would tear apart the contract so the shares would come back to Jing Yichen’s hands once again.
Even if the contract stayed in the locker, then also Jing Yichen’s shares would not be affected because the contract had not yet been submitted to the relevant authorities and Jing Yiran had not officially inherited these shares. Therefore, Jing Yichen was still the owner of these shares according to the documented files.
But once the contract was taken out, the nominee of the will might make the shares someone else’s, as long as he went to document the contract.
The nominee whom Jing Yiran had picked was the head of an underground mafia. His name was Hu Yi and was nicknamed Head Hu among the gangsters. He controlled the Gangster of the Locals, and as the name suggested, they dominated the local area.
The biggest gangster force of A City was the famous Black and Red Associate, but the head of Black and Red Associate had been more or less destroyed by Jing Yichen and the second in command had been imprisoned and tortured to death by Jing Yichen. So, the third head was avoiding the Jing Family as if he was running away from a ghost.
Even a big gang like Black and Red Associate feared Jing Yichen. It wasn’t surprising then that the Gangster of the Locals shivered when they heard Jing Yichen’s name.
Head Hu had known Jing Yiran for a long time and did a lot of business for him, like selling properties and antiques which Jing Yiran had gained from Mo Lan. Those things, when sold in the black market, could fetch a very high price. Since black market only needed money and did not care who the seller was, it was a relatively safe place to do the trade.
Head Hu was a clever person. He did not dare get too close to Jing Yiran yet he did not stay away from him, either. Staying too close to him would make him an enemy of Jing Yichen and staying too far away from Jing Yiran would displease him. So he did what he could to maintain a balance.
But he hadn’t expected Jing Yiran to die and worse, to set him up before dying.
The gangs always had their ways of getting information, so many people were aware of the fact that the Second Master of Family Jing was dead and had been killed by the Elder Master, Jing Yichen!
Many people were also aware of the fact that before Jing Yiran died, he left a will transferring all the properties, shares of Jingsheng Enterprise and the rights of Ji’s Enterprise to someone else.
But they did not know who on earth was the lucky person to inherit such a tremendously large amount of wealth!
Only Hu Yi knew that this amount of wealth that made people gasp, had fallen upon him and would probably kill him.
In the beginning, Hu Yi was not sure about him being the nominee. Jing Yichen’s men interrogated him about it which made him realise that he had gotten the pie.
But was it safe for anyone to take a bite out of the Jing Family’s pie?
Even if Jing Yiran had given him one piece of the shares rather than what he had got right now, he would have been forced to deliver the shares back to Jing Yichen!
Any more delay, and he would have no head left.
He must be alive to enjoy the wealth, no?
