Chapter 627: Love Cultivation
The kiss did not last long. Jing Yiran soon released Lu. But right then, he made a new rule. “Come to me every day for a kiss, alright?”
Lu was confused. “Why?”
“We need to cultivate our love!”
Jing Yiran put the rubber gloves back on his hands and started to wash the dishes. He was thinking that if she kissed him every day, then it would only take half a month before she got used to it. Then, he would take the next step. He could not be so conservative all the time. He was a man after all!
After doing the dishes, Jing Yiran rushed to the bathroom to take a shower, and get rid of the oily smell. Dressed up in a comfortable, casual outfit, he watched the gossip news with Lu in his arms, sitting on the sofa.
Lu had also taken a shower and her hair was still damp. Her fragrance and clean touch was making Jing Yiran feel excited.
Lu was sitting on his thighs quietly, watching the TV with him.
She was not interested in this kind of news, but after living with Jing Yiran for so long, she did it since he liked it. She did not have anything else to do, anyways.
Also, she was learning something new through this every time. The gossip channels had opened a window for her to another world, where she found things confusing and curious. Why were all these people in love? Why were they cursing at each other as if they were enemies?
Jing Yiran told her that these things happened in daily life. He asked her to watch and learn so that she could understand emotions better.
Lu did not find it to be anything good. These people were living an even harder life than she was. Her life was simple. As a person infected with a virus, living as a killer, she barely went out seeking trouble, not like these people on TV.
After watching it for a while, Jing Yiran noticed that Lu’s hair was still not dry. But she did not care about it. He shook his head helplessly. This girl was too careless. She did not pay attention to anything related to herself. Was she not afraid of catching a cold due to damp hair?
The Second Master of the Jing Family cared a lot about his woman and in the process, he had forgotten that no other virus could affect her body, no matter what! The virus would die the moment it entered her body, because there was a worse version of it already existent inside!
Jing Yiran had asked his servant to buy the hair dryer sometime back. He had not meant to use it on Lu, because when they moved in, he and Lu were not as close as they were now and he would not do something so intimate for her.
The hair dryer was meant for him. He was a man who cared about his hairstyle as much as his life.
He could die, but he could not allow his hair to be ruined. That was what a casanova was like.
He would always set his hair up after shower and style it nicely. He would not leave home unless the hair was well done.
Of course, when he was living at the Jing Family, he had a special hairstylist devoted to him. Later, when he started living alone, he soon learnt to style it himself.
But recently, he often blow-dried Lu’s hair and did a good job at it.
He liked it when women were dressed in pretty outfits, and had long hair. It would be best if the hair was in coffee-color or dark red, which would make her look stunning.
He had once been interested in Shangguan Ning’s golden brown hair. Some women did not look good with dyed hair, but Shangguan Ning had acquired a special air after the hair was colored.
However, now he liked Lu’s natural hair. It was smooth and jet black as if it were the best quality silk in the world. He liked it very much.
One of Jing Yiran’s greatest pastimes was to style hair for Lu and she also enjoyed having her hair blown by him. No one had ever taken care of her in such a loving way as he did.
Jing Yiran turned on the hair dryer and started blowing the hair for her in a proficient way. When the hair was half done, he suddenly had an idea. “Baby, what about me trimming your hair?”
Lu had always complained about her long hair, which obstructed her from moving fast.
She preferred short hair, but did not know anything about cutting hair and hated it when a hairdresser moved around with scissors over her head. She would always assume that the hairdresser was up to something. He could end her life while he was cutting it.
There were two killers from the camp who died while getting their hair done, so Lu did not like hairdressers. In fact, more than half of the killers at the camp did not like hairdressers and never visited a barber. They did their hair by themselves.
Same went for Lu. She never visited a barber and had recently started making a small ponytail.
But she agreed when Jing Yiran offered to cut her hair.
She just could not stand it when someone else held scissors above her head, but she did not find Jing Yiran an opponent, so it was okay.
However, after she sat down on the chair on the balcony, she suddenly remembered to ask a question. “Jing Yiran, do you know how to give a haircut?”
Jing Yiran stiffened behind her back with scissors in his hands.
Of course... he did not. It was such a difficult thing.
However, he could try. Lu had long hair and it was just a matter of making it short by a few centimeters.
“It is very easy, of course I can do it. Don’t worry, I will make you look good!”
Jing Yiran boasted without feeling guilty.
Lu believed him. She nodded and even praised proudly. “You can do anything. So capable! I can do nothing except for killing. It seems that we will never starve. You cut hair and I kill. We will have meat for each meal!”
Jing Yiran’s hands trembled, and Lu’s long hair fell on the floor.
That did not sound right...
What did she mean by meat for each meal if she killed?!
That sounded horrible!
Jing Yiran suddenly felt that he would not be able to eat meat for the next few days!
What was more, he didn’t know how to cut hair. He could bluff Lu, but not others.
Fortunately, cutting long hair was easy. As long as Jing Yiran’s hands did not tremble too much, the result was not going to be that bad.
Jing Yiran liked Lu’s long hair, so he did not cut a whole lot of it.
