Chapter 280: Two different lust.
Chapter 280: Two different lust.
As the lady's sultry invitation hung in the air, Blake turned to glance at Gunther, who responded with a playful nudge on his shoulder. With a raised eyebrow and a hesitant smile, Blake found himself being pulled onto the dance floor by the irresistible force of the woman's allure.
The pulsing beat enveloped them as they joined the throng of bodies writhing in rhythm to the music. The woman wasted no time, her movements fluid and sinuous as she began to dance, her eyes locked onto Blake's with an intensity that sent a shiver down his spine.
She moved closer, her body swaying in a hypnotic cadence, and reached out to grasp Blake's hands, attempting to coax him into matching her movements. With a mixture of uncertainty and a growing sense of exhilaration, Blake allowed himself to be swept up in the dance, his movements tentative at first before gradually gaining confidence as he synced with the woman's sensual rhythm.
As they danced, the lady couldn't help but notice Blake's hesitation and distant gaze. Sensing his unease, she paused their movements for a moment and looked up at him with concern etched on her features.
"Hey, is everything okay?" she asked, her voice soft but tinged with genuine curiosity. "You seem a little...distracted. Is there something on your mind?"
"I, uh, I'm not really much of a dancer," Blake admitted, his voice tinged with a hint of embarrassment as he glanced around the crowded dance floor.
The lady smiled, her eyes alight with mischief. "Surely there must be other things you're good at," she teased, her words laced with playful insinuation.
Blake arched an eyebrow, a flicker of curiosity dancing in his gaze. "What do you mean?" he inquired, his interest piqued by her enigmatic smile.
Without another word, the lady grabbed his hand and began to weave through the throng of dancers, Blake stumbling slightly in her wake. She led him away from the pulsing beat of the music, through a maze of bodies and swirling lights until they reached a quieter corner of the club near the bathrooms.
Once they were safely out of earshot of the pounding bass, the lady turned to face Blake with a mischievous glint in her eye.
With a mischievous glint in her eyes, she turned to Blake and with a swift motion, kicked open a bathroom door with her leg, the metal hinges creaking in protest.
Without hesitation, she dragged Blake into the bathroom with her, using her leg to push the door closed behind them, shutting out the clamor of the club outside.
"Perhaps you're just a little shy out there in front of all those people," she murmured, her voice low and inviting as she leaned in closer to him. "But in here, it's just you and me. No one else to witness a thing."
Blake swallowed hard, his eyes locked on hers as though he were in a trance. "Y-yes," he replied, his voice barely above a whisper, the heat of her proximity sending a shiver down his spine.
"Now, I never thought I'd be doing this," she began, a playful glint in her eyes as she leaned in closer to Blake. "But hey, I'm thirty-five, single, and it's my birthday. Screw it, I'm going to do whatever the hell I want."
She stood on her toes, attempting to reach Blake's height, her fingers grazing the brim of his hat. With deliberate slowness, she lifted it off his head, revealing the rogue streaks of midnight that streaked through his once brown tresses.
"What are you hiding under there?" she teased, a smirk playing on her lips as she examined him. "Strange thing to say, I know, but you're a beautiful man nonetheless."
She traced a finger delicately across Blake's face, down the sharp contours of his jawline, a smile playing at the corners of her lips.
"Your skin is so smooth for a man," she remarked softly, her touch lingering. "And cold too."
With a daring glint in her eyes, she leaned in and planted a kiss first on his lips, then his cheeks, her movements deliberate and inviting. Throughout, Blake stood still, his attention solely focused on her, his gaze unwavering.
As she released his face, her fingers deftly began to undo the clasps of her dress, letting the fabric slip off her shoulders and cascade down her body. The air seemed to hum with anticipation.
But then, everything changed.
The moment Blake's eyes fell upon her exposed neck, the delicate veins tracing along her cleavage, a primal hunger surged within him, overwhelming his senses and drowning out all rational thought.
He could hear it all - her heartbeat, the rush of blood coursing through her veins, the subtle rumble of her stomach beneath the facade of bravado she projected. But none of that concerned him. Not the inviting skin, not the alluring curves. His focus was singular, fixated on the exposed expanse of her neck.
Her voice broke through his predatory trance, her words laced with a hint of playful apprehension. "The way you're looking at me now...if I didn't know any better, I'd think you were trying to eat me."
How ironic, he thought, that she was closer to the truth than she realized.
Their intentions diverged sharply in that moment. She sought pleasure, craving intimacy and connection. Blake, however, hungered for something altogether different. His primal instincts surged to the forefront, overriding any semblance of rational thought.
As she gazed at his broad chest, admiring his physique and the wildness in his eyes, Blake's own focus narrowed to a singular point. Without conscious volition, his body moved, guided by the insatiable hunger that gripped him.
He seized her shoulders, swiftly turning her to back him, and pinned her against the bathroom wall with a firmness that bordered on possessive. Her hands were caught in his grip, effectively rendering her immobile, the air charged with a potent mixture of tension and anticipation.
She couldn't help but remark on the contradiction between his gentle countenance and the roughness of his actions. "Not even planning to ask my name?" she teased, her voice tinged with a mixture of curiosity and arousal. "Such a gentle face, yet so rough."
But despite her playful banter, there was a flicker of something primal in her eyes, an unspoken desire for the raw intensity of the moment. It was a dangerous dance they found themselves in, teetering on the edge of something unknown and exhilarating.
