MY SUGAR MUMMY IS A BEAUTIFUL VAMPIRE

Chapter 94: Shadow coven member?

Chapter 94: Shadow coven member?

As Reggie's fury mounted, one of the vampires, emboldened by a sense of spiteful defiance, decided to make a move. With a snarl, he lunged forward, his movements fueled by a reckless determination to challenge Reggie's dominance.

With a swift motion, he reached for a nearby weapon, a bottle right on one of the tables in the bar. Gripping it tightly in his hand, he launched himself towards Reggie, the malice in his eyes promising nothing but violence and chaos.

Reggie's eyes narrowed as he watched the vampire's approach, his hands clenching into fists at his sides. He could sense the hatred emanating from his attacker, a toxic energy that threatened to consume everything in its path.

In a flash of movement, Reggie met the vampire head-on, his own rage burning brightly as he clashed with his adversary. Reggie caught the vampires hand, smacking the bottle off his hand and destroying it in the process.

Then with a swift counterattack, he grabbed the vampire by the neck and proceeded to bury his forehead into the vampire's head, delivering a brain bursting headbutt that sent the vampire sprawling to the ground.

As Reggie loomed over him, his aura of rage pulsating with renewed intensity, the vampire realized with dawning horror that he had picked the wrong fight.

"Don't you have ears to listen?" Reggie said, his hands began to shake vigorously and an intense killing aura engulfed the room.

The vampires could feel a sudden pressure around the room. And this aura was all coming from Reggie who approached them one step after another with purpose. It was no longer a matter of guessing as his steps conveyed his intentions.

"Go!!" The vampire at the front of the group ordered the three at the back. And without any hesitation one vampire sprung forward with two short blades and swung for Reggie's face.

Reggie seeing this swiftly swerved to the side and struck at the mid section of the vampire from the side with speed.

The vampire stood there motionless but not for long as he collapsed face first on the ground. Slowly his body began to loose it's color fast as his skin was visibly turning black and his body drying up until he was reduced to a dried up carcass.

"What...the hell? Who are you?" Another vampire asked seeing how easily dismantled one of their comrade was dispatched.

As Reggie turned to look at the vampires, something about him had changed. Not only was he releasing intense pressure on the room, but his eyes, they had changed too. It was now pitch black with black veins running down from his eye lids all the way to his cheeks. But he wasn't the only one, Randal and Gunther had also began to take on a similar appearance.

"You lot seem awfully young by scent which is why I'm guessing you must not know us. But a little demonstration would prove quite impactful and perhaps, should you survive this, you'd learn to avoid the paths of a knighted," Gunther said with palpable excitement. Something about the smile on his face said a lot about how eager he was to engage.

The other vampires hearing this gulped. They feared the person they were about to fight was far more deadly than they anticipated.

"You two, take him!!" The vampire who stood at the front and by now was obviously known to be the leader commanded. And yet again like sheeps, the vampires obeyed without question and ran straight to Reggie .

The first one to reach him held no weapon in his hands. But that was because he himself was the weapon.

From his very skin, sharp pointed solid objects sprung out.

The vampire on the attack concentrated them on his knuckles and made them look like long claws sticking out of his skin. They were five on each fist and without a care in the world he swung once again at Reggie's neck.

Reggie watched as the claws came towards him and while he could have blocked it, he allowed the hit get in. Immediately this happened, the vampire who was on the attack had his eyes widened. He couldn't believe his best shot couldn't even make a dent on Reggie .

Now it was Reggie's turn. Grabbing the sharp solid claws that stuck out of the vampire 's knuckles, he broke them all off by simply closing down his fist on it hard. There was simply no resistance as they all broke off and gave a cracking sound.

*Kiarrk!!*

"Arrrgghg!!" The vampire whose claws were broken off screamed. But Reggie showed no remorse as he grabbed his neck and lifted him off the ground with one hand. Then in a swift motion, he moved from that spot, rotated and drove the vampire to the ground with equal force and speed.

*crack!!*

He proceeded to step on his head as he walked forward gently but the skull didn't see this to be a gentle step as it gave no resistance. It popped instantly splashing its organ contained within and blood on the floor.

~kiark!!!!~

There was no movement from the vampire as he laid still, dead with a cracked skull.

And while all this happened, something could be noticed on closer inspection of the dead body as it was losing its color.

A dull black smoke could be seen leaving the body and entering Reggie from behind. This was the same for the first vampire that had been killed by him. And just like the first one, the body with the cracked skull shriveled up as the dull smoke like material flew over to him and entered his body.

The third vampire seeing Reggie was distracted came from behind slashing down with his claws.

Reggie though sensed this and moved his feet ever so slightly. Then with his hand folded into a fist, he threw a punch.

His fist met the clawed hand of the vampire and broke it like glass and it continued on to meet with the vampire's forearm which it crushed like soft meat without bone.

"Arggh!!" The vampire screamed holding his hands. Reggie then jumped up and with his heel came crashing down on the vampire 's head delivering a devastating axe kick. The vampire 's neck and skull were seemingly detached from one another with that one move and he laid still unmoving. Blood gushed out like it was a water fall out of the dead.

But this was short lived as the bleeding stopped very quickly.

This was because the same thing that happened to the last two began immediately as the vampire died. The body shriveled up and a black smoke escaped towards Reggie.

"We've been caged in for too long and now you fools have given us a reason to stretch a little," Reggie said with dark eyes staring into the souls of his adversaries.

"Why are they not getting up?" One of the people in the bar not fighting asked. It was a rather strange sight to see one of them seemingly down.

"I can't hear a heart beat," another one said with a anxiety written all of his face.

"They must belong to one of the dwindling bloodlines," an older vampire interjected, his voice heavy with the weight of centuries. "It's said that some families have been all but extinguished, their descendants reduced to mere shadows of their former selves. The blood of such lineage holds little power, barely sustaining the semblance of life before fading into oblivion."

"I fear these three may be facing members from the shadow coven. If I'm right, then this might become a blood fest,"

The vampires exchanged uneasy glances, realizing the gravity of their situation. They had underestimated their opponents, facing not formidable foes but the remnants of a once-proud lineage, clinging desperately to existence in a world that had left them behind.

"You don't seem to understand what you've done.....let me explain to you then!!!" Reggie said with a trembling tone as he let out more killing aura and the veins on his face as well as his eye color darkened.

The leader of the attackers was both unfazed as he was heartless. Not wasting any time, he dashed at Reggie with impressive speed living a spider web shaped crack where he once was.

He swung two short blades fast and with equal skill backing it. He wasn't striking like the others who did out of fear and lacked charisma to it. He struck with purpose and precision.

Reggie too acknowledged this one had skill. But just like the other fallen ones, his speed meant nothing as he could see everyone of the attacker's move. One blade came from up and the other from below.

Reggie could have easily dodged the attack but instead decided to take it. After all, it didn't matter where it struck, the result would always be the same and that was that it would end in nothingness.

'It's foolish of you to think a simple blade like that could hurt me' Reggie thought as he saw the two blades move towards him. This had happened slower in his eyes as his perception of the reality was quite different.

Randal faced off against his opponent, a vampire with unmatched agility and grace. The vampire moved with a fluidity that belied his predatory nature, his movements almost hypnotic as he sought to outmaneuver Randal at every turn. But Randal was no stranger to combat, and he met each strike with a calculated precision that left his opponent reeling.

As the vampire lunged forward with blinding speed, Randal anticipated his movements and countered with a swift kick to the midsection. The blow landed with a satisfying thud, knocking the wind out of his opponent and sending him stumbling backward.

Without hesitation, Randal followed up with a series of lightning-fast strikes, each blow landing with pinpoint accuracy as he whittled away at his opponent's defenses.

Despite the vampire's best efforts to retaliate, Randal remained one step ahead, his movements fluid and graceful as he danced through the chaos with deadly efficiency. With each strike, he chipped away at his opponent's resolve, wearing him down with a relentless barrage of blows until he could no longer stand.

With a final, decisive strike, Randal incapacitated his opponent, leaving him sprawled on the ground in a crumpled heap. As he stood victorious amidst the chaos, Randal's eyes burned with an intensity that belied his calm demeanor, a silent warning to any who dared to challenge him.

Meanwhile, Gunther found himself locked in a fierce battle with two vampires, each one wielding deadly axes with lethal precision. But Gunther was not one to be underestimated, and he met each strike with a calculated counterattack that left his opponents struggling to keep up.

As the vampires closed in, their weapons gleaming in the dim light of the bar, Gunther remained calm and composed, his movements fluid and precise as he deflected their attacks with ease. With a swift motion, he disarmed one of his opponents, sending his weapon clattering to the ground with a resounding clang.

But the other vampire was relentless, pressing forward with renewed ferocity as he sought to overwhelm Gunther with sheer brute force. Undeterred, Gunther met his opponent head-on, matching his strength blow for blow as they grappled in a fierce struggle for dominance.

With a well-timed maneuver, Gunther gained the upper hand, delivering a devastating blow that left his opponent reeling. With a swift kick to the chest, he sent the vampire sprawling backward, his momentum carrying him across the room and into a nearby table with a resounding crash.

As the dust settled and the chaos subsided, Gunther stood victorious amidst the wreckage, his breath coming in ragged gasps as he surveyed the aftermath of the battle. With a nod of satisfaction, he turned to join his companions, their duty, protecting rose was more than done.
