Chapter 207
Chapter 207
207 A Fake
(Jane’s PoV)
The most popular thing in City Y was the way the people attached the importance of culture and customs in every spot in City Y. As the city with the densest sense of culture, City Y held many historical and cultural spots that could attract the attention of every tourist.
All they knew that it was a ruin left by our ancestors. It represented the history and the culture of Indonesia. They only knew that it had no function as we spoke other than being a historical ruin for tourism spot.
Little did they know those ancient buildings were there to represent the main city for mystical army assembly in Indonesia. Other countries had one on each of their lands. For example, England had Stonehenge and Egypt had pyramids.
Since the meeting was held in Indonesia, of course, City Y would host the meeting. The reason why it was being held in Indonesia was because two out of ten mystical armies had Indonesians as their master. Therefore, those other countries decided that they would hold it in Indonesia.
What a one sided decision! I didn’t even have a chance to refuse this troublesome meeting.
After landing in the City Y, we went to find an inn. However, before we could enter the inn, someone had come and invited us to stay in a villa. Since it was free and the man who came to talk to us talked politely, I thought it would be rude to reject his invitation. Not to mention he knew about my identity as Master of White Army.
Apparently, the invitation came from the King. Yes, he was the one who would be responsible for all of the cultures in City Y. If my father was a hidden King, this man, however, was known all over the place.
After we had taken care of our belongings in the villa, I ordered Siji to bring out the man we captured in the airport.
.....
Back in the airport...
It was a man in his thirties. His tanned face looked particularly cruel combined with his moustache and sharp eyes. There were wrinkles on his forehead, a sign that he frowned a lot. He looked more like a villain than a kind person, I said to myself when my heart told me to be positive thinking, not to judge a book by its cover.
However, the reality told otherwise.
The startled expression on his face disappeared a second after he was dragged into the other dimension by me. The next second, his claws were aimed at me in a deadly clutch. His eyes reflected his cruel intention towards me.
He really wanted to harm me.
However, old man, you were so wrong about me. The ‘me’ a year ago might be caught by your deadly clutch and probably would have lost my life in a move. But, old man, I was trained by a devil instructor and a real devil. Your move was just so-so in my eyes.
The moves that Siji taught for me really suited my taste. I hated moving around too much in martial arts so he made me learn the one that didn’t require many movements. He said he believed I could master this type of lazy martial arts because I possessed great amount of spiritual power and able to manipulate it for my own benefits.
And he was right.
It was a badass type of self-defense. However, it was also a scary type of offensive style.
Without moving from where I was standing at, I slapped his claws away from me with a frown on my face. The man looked startled with how easy I stopped his move. But he kept attacking me afterwards.
He seemed to forget that I was still holding back his clothes which restricting his movement. Even with one hand, I still managed to dodge and smacked his hands.
In the end, I caught his hand and twisted it behind his back. My power locked his so that he couldn’t use his clutch for now. I looked down and found out that the battle downstairs had finished as well. Those men had disappeared, and Tom and Sanji had returned to their seat.
Because our plane was going to take off as soon as possible, I asked Siji to take a look of that man and moved him into my house in the other dimension.
Back to present...
Crossing my arms across my chest, I looked down upon the man who was sitting not too far from us. I didn’t know what Siji had done to him, but he looked docile at this moment.
“Who sent you?” I asked coldly.
The man shuddered, as if he was woken up by my voice. Malice returned to his eyes as he stared at me.
I arched my eyebrows and leaned forwards. This was not going to be easy.
“Who is your Master? I’m pretty sure your Master didn’t know you used the army to attack me. Are you seeking death?” Flicking my finger slightly, the man hissed in pain as the power restriction around his hands gripped his hands tightly and pulled the man’s arms up until his shoulders were threatened to be dislocated.
“Jane, leave it to us. Just sit there and watch.” Tom put his hand on my shoulder. A smirk appeared on his face as he kept staring at the man.
I watched as both Sanji and Tom approached the man and asked him several questions. Whenever he refused to answer, a wail of pain would be heard in the villa. Tom was using his chain of lava to bind the man’s body. Sanji, on the other hand, made his sharp strings floating around the man.
Refuse to answer the question? Fine, then the chain of lava would flare up and leave a sophisticated pattern of burn on his tanned skin. As if burn wounds didn’t enough, hundreds thin strings around the man would turn into a super thin set of acupuncture needle.
Not that I knew acupuncture. But, I doubted Sanji didn’t know anything about it.
At the same time with the chain flared up, the thin needles would pierce the man’s body. It might hit some spots in his body that could enhance the feeling of pain, made him feeling as if he was being stabbed by countless thick needles. That was why he would wail so hard that I found he was an embarrassment to shout so loud like that over a mere injury.
Seeing Sanji smirked, I could finally be able to sense that he must have done something that made this man howled like a goat on a chopping board.
“You’re going to regret this!” He spat spitefully. He glared at them hatefully, as if he could wish nothing but hack us to death.
“Aren’t you the one regretting your action now? Why would we regret ours?” Tom mocked him.
“Who told you to attack us? Are we that easy to bully in your eyes?” Sanji moved his fingers lightly.
It might look like he was playing; tapping his fingers on his other fingers. Only I could see that every time his finger moved, those needles would stab at him in different parts of body. The man didn’t wail, but he looked discomfort all over.
“You don’t deserve to command the First Army! I have been training my whole life, meditating in the secluded mountain to gain the highest achievement spiritually, but when I came out, I heard a little girl is the Master! How could I be content? I could only get rid of you so that I can become the Master of First Army!”
I was stunned hearing his outburst. Was this man a bit sick in his head?
“It seems like your years of meditating worth nothing now. You don’t gain peacefulness as the sign of spiritual highest achievement. Instead, you turn into a madman. I can see now that your whole life is pathetic.” Sanji shook his head but there was no pity in his eyes.
“Just because you want to be the Master then the army needs you to be the Master? Isn’t your current loss a proof enough to know that you’re not worthy of being the army’s Master? You can’t even touch her, what made you say that you’re better than her?” Tom sneered at the man.
“She can’t even summon them when I attacked her. What’s the use of her?” He snorted.
“Stupid! Why would she do that when we alone could defeat you?” Tom laughed as if he had just heard the funniest joke in his life.
“You mean, I’m not qualified if I can’t summon them?” I smirked at this man stupidity. He wasted his whole life to chase after the peaceful mind by meditating. However, he really didn’t make progress at all. How could a sage be a madman like him?
“What should I do? I don’t feel like summoning them. Do you think I would summon them just because you said so?”
“You’re a fraud, after all. Just admit it that you can’t summon them.” He sneered.
Both Tom and Sanji chuckled as they heard what he said. Retrieving their weapons, both of them left him as they returned to my side. We were just about to let Siji take care of the man when we felt a huge wave of spiritual power approached us.
“Pardon us!” A greeting was heard from the front door. Judging from the voice, it was an old man, a healthy and vigorous old man.
Pulling opened the front door, I was surprised to see a whole greyish mystical army was standing in front of the villa. An old man with white hair and white beard was standing in the front line with a grim expression on his face. He looked more like a sage than the one I captured inside.
I guessed he was the true Master of the army.
“Release him.” The old man said.
“What a cute demand!” I smiled sarcastically. “He tried to kill me and you came with a whole bunch of your men to order me to release him? Wow.”
The old man’s expression darkened even more. “I don’t know why he would try to kill you but I’m sure my nephew wouldn’t do something stupid.”
“Then, enlighten me, attacking me just because I am the Master of First Army, is it stupid or not?” The smile on my face didn’t disappear even after this ridiculous conversation still went on.
A frown appeared on his old face. “Are you the Master of First Army? Don’t talk nonsense.”
“Ay, your nephew is clearly more up to date with his information, I see. Although, I’m more curious as to how your nephew could command your army.” I leaned on the door frame lazily with my arms crossed across my chest.
“UNCLE, SHE IS A FAKE! DON’T BELIEVE IN HER! SHE IS NOT THE MASTER OF FIRST ARMY!” A shout was heard from the inside of the house.
I arched my eyebrows as I chuckled. With a flick of my fingers, the man inside was being dragged out by an invisible force called my power.
“Here. Your stupid nephew.”
“Since you can see my army and you seem to have some moves with you, I don’t think I can let you imitate the Master of First Army!” The old man was getting ready to order his men to attack us, but like hell I would let it happened.
“Siji, White Army, come forth.” I said in a low, lazy voice.
