My Unconventional Lover: Seeing A Different World

Chapter 57

Chapter 57

Chapter 57: I’m Crazy So...

“What was her name again? Should I tell Senior Rizal that the W he mentioned before is her?” As if being oblivious of her flustered state, I kept talking. Anita obviously didn’t know anything about her friends’ shameless action.

But I did.

Those pink letters were not mere love letters. If common love letters talked about the sender’s feeling of adoration and love, her love letters were filled with her desire to him, almost to the point of obsession. Of course she didn’t put her name, but I saw her once going out from Senior Rizal’s room.

Too bad there was no CCTV in his room, so no one knew about it besides me.

“Hm, I bet those guys would love to interview her for her obsession towards Senior Rizal. Let’s see, do I still have Hana’s phone number?” Tapped on my phone, I deliberately scrolled through my contacts slowly.

“Jane!” A shout filled with rage was heard and I raised my eyebrows, feeling victorious. It was so easy to get this girl all riled up. If she was smart, she would not get overly enraged like this. After all, I didn’t have any proofs with me.

Even though I heard her call, I didn’t turn towards her. Only after I saw her pair of shoes in front of me then I lifted up my face, only to see her fuming rage. Her eyes widened in fury and her face flushed for the same reason.

.....

“You, you, you...” She pointed at me, repeating the word ‘you’ several times stupidly.

“Yes? Do you need something from me?” I asked while smiling sweetly, as sweet as I could.

“W-what do you mean by that?!” Widya glared at me.

“By what?” I shrugged.

“Just now! Y-you, you, you –”

“Oh, pardon me. Does it bother you? I was talking to myself. I’m crazy, so yeah...” I said it casually, totally ignoring her deathly glare. “Anyway, why do you feel bothered by it?”

Widya bit her lips in frustration. Beside her, Anita was looking at us repeatedly in confusion. She clearly had no idea about what was going on between us.

But, it was not over yet.

Faking the surprised look on my face, I continued. “Ah, I know why. Silly me! What’s the point of asking that question? I’m sorry, I should have known that you perfectly understood that the one who had been sending those pink letters for Senior Rizal was YOU. After all, you are not as crazy as me to not understand about what I was talking about.”

I watched as her mouth gaped open like a fish. Her eyes widened, as if they would pop out from their sockets anytime. Anita was no different beside her. She finally got the whole idea and looked at her friend in disbelief. After all, the talk about ‘suspicious pink letter’ was pretty well-known back then.

She might never have thought that the one who sent the letters was her best friend.

Still smiling, I stood up and left them. I would come back to attend my class but for the time being, I needed to distance myself from her.

What if she turned into a rabid girl who attacked blindly?

I obviously didn’t want to degrade myself by getting into a cat-fight with her.

As I walked away from the crime scene, I heard the two of them got into an argument. Argument about what, I had no idea. I couldn’t focus on what they were saying while Kunti was laughing beside me, following me closely.

“I never thought you had that side in you!” She said between her laughter.

“...” What? Do you think I will just stay quite when a person bully me? Dare to create bad issue about me? Let’s see who could do worse!

I didn’t respond because there were more people around me than I was in the last time.

Finding a rather secluded place to sit, I put on my headset again and pretended to call again.

“Did you have fun?” I asked without taking a single glance at her.

“I did.” She replied. Even though I didn’t see her face, I could still feel the grin she had on her face.

“Good. Let’s talk again about what you said when I return home later.” I said calmly.

“Fine. I am going back to my tree, then.”

“Where is it?” If I wanted to find her later, I needed to know where she stayed.

“That tree...”

At her voice, I looked up to see where she was pointing at. To my surprise, she was pointing at a big tree near the left park, right in the area of the abandoned tombs. Did she...

She giggled, probably knew what was inside my mind.

“Oh yeah, I saw it. Your first kiss with the human boy.” She said, answering my silent question.

Her giggling turned into her signature laugh as she floated away happily, successfully making me shivering in fright.

“Damn it! Which Kuntilanak dares to scare people in broad daylight?! Show yourself! I’ll exorcise you right away!”

I stunned hearing the shout. Someone could hear that?
