My Unconventional Lover: Seeing A Different World

Chapter 98

Chapter 98

98 Bad News! (2)

This revelation was not what I was expecting.

Seeing the sheepish smile on the ghost face made me understood why Sanji was kicking this fellow out.

I cleared my throat. “Well, since it’s still dark out there, I’m going back to sleep now. Bye.” Turning my body around, I waved goodbye to the ghost and human and closed the door hastily.

Let Sanji deal with the ghost!

But, before the door was closed, something blew in and held onto the door. As I turned around, I saw the ghost was there, working hard to keep the door open.

“Miss, Miss, please, hear me out first. Help me!” He said between his gritted teeth.

I pulled back my hands and crossed it in front of my chest again. What an acting!

“Enough. Don’t act in front of me. What are you trying to do acting like that? I didn’t even use much strength to close the door, yet you look like you’re pushing a big stone. What do you want?”

Bima, the ghost, stood upright when he heard me. A shy smile appeared on his face as he lowered his head. If he still had his body, he would probably blush in embarrassment.

.....

“Do you hate gays?” He asked carefully. “I didn’t ask for it, you know? I also thought I was normal, that I would have a wife and two kids. But, I had no idea that the wife in my mind was actually a guy! And that I wouldn’t have kids if I were to marry a guy! Is it my fault that I fell in love with another guy? What’s wrong being in love?”

In the end, he didn’t just ask, but he defended his sexuality and yelled at me as if I was the one who bullied him for falling in love with the same gender.

“Are you done?” I asked him calmly. Maybe he was surprised with his outburst and felt guilty for yelling at me, he lowered his head in shame as he nodded his head.

“First, I’m not homophobic. I have no problems with your kind. But, if a straight man doesn’t want your company, you better behave. Don’t force it!”

“Second, only because you were bullied because of your sexuality, it doesn’t mean all people are the same. There’s nothing wrong being in love. I don’t care who you love, as long as it’s not someone’s husband which meant you’re destroying someone’s marriage, or underage kids.”

“Now, tell me what do you want?” I looked at him straight at his eyes, ignoring the trembling of his body.

“I... I...” He stuttered. His hands were reaching out to me, but before he could touch me, he was grabbed and flung far away from me.

“Don’t touch her!”

In a second, Sanji stood in front of my door, putting himself as the unbreakable wall between me and Bima.

Bima floated back with aggrieve look on his face, but he did maintain his distance from us.

“I-I just want to stay here. I promise I won’t disturb you.” He said slowly.

I noticed the frown on Sanji’s face. Objection was cleared in his face. I could understand the reason, though. But this coward was in need of a place to stay.

“Tell me, do you want to live with Kuntilanak?” I asked Bima.

His expression changed when he heard me. His already transparent body looked pale as he stepped back. His head shook quickly.

“That’s what Sanji feels if you insist on living with him.”

“But, I’m not Kuntilanak!” Bima argued hastily.

I had the urge to face-palmed my face. “You are Kuntilanak in Sanji’s eyes!” I retorted back.

Bima was left speechless. He looked at me and Sanji repeatedly. Then, he lowered his head dejectedly.

“Fine.” He mumbled as he floated away.

As he disappeared through the wall, I let out a sigh of relief. I was just about to turn around and crawl back under my blanket when I noticed Sanji was still standing with tight expression.

“What? Are you regretting your decision now that he left?” I teased him.

“What are you talking about?” Sanji flicked his fingers at my forehead gently. “One of the reasons I don’t like him beside him being a gay ghost is he is sensitive towards bad news. He came here today, it must be some sort of premonition.” Sanji explained, but the frown in his place were only getting deeper.

I raised my brows. “Bad news? How come?” During my lifetime as a horror lover, I had not heard a ghost could be a premonition for bad news.

I guessed with my new ability, I really opened a whole new world for me to experience.

But, bad news? Now that he mentioned it, I did feel something bad was coming at me.

What is it?
