Chapter 49: Yuki’s resolve

The person who came to Yuki’s tent blew himself up. Kazuya dived to the ground to protect Yuki.

We just arrived and were stunned to see the scene.

“Yuki!”

The place where the explosion occurred was said to be the place where Yuki’s tent was located. I rushed to the scene.

*I have a bad feeling about this, but there was no way Kazuya would silently allow this to happen without telling me.*

The smell of burnt tent and scorched wood.

I stood there for a while. Then something moved from the ground.

“How totally disrespectful to a lady.” Kazuya said.

Kazuya crawled out of the tent. In his arms was Yuki.

“Are you all right? Yuki-sama."

Yuki had still not grasped the current situation. Well, she was suddenly caught in an explosion. That kind of reaction was inevitable. But I was amazed that she survived.

“Kazuya. Are you okay too? Didn’t you get hit by the blast?”

“My clothes are made of a special material that is used to make rockets. They are a little heavy, but they are tougher than bulletproof suits.”

“More importantly, Yuki-sama. Are your ears okay?”
