Chapter 113: Fall
Chapter 113: Fall
"Assholes, what are you doing here?" asked Kevin in a loud voice.
Of course, he realized that there was a problem. The problem was that the two men outside had fainted.
He suspected that some criminals had come to his grandfather's office.
Who would have thought that they were David and Mery.
At this moment, the man ran towards them, looking like he wanted to fight with them.
Unexpectedly, Mery suddenly made her move.
With her speed, she was able to arrive behind Kevin in just an instant.
When she got there, she suddenly kicked the man in the back, knocking him off his feet.
BANG!
The man hit the curtain wall of the building very hard. If it weren't for the fact that the curtain wall was so strong, it would have shattered and Kevin would have fallen from there.
Shua!
Mery moved again, then she grabbed Kevin's shirt collar.
After that, she led him to a window in the office.
Her next action made even David's eyes widen.
Mery actually opened the window and threw Kevin out.
"Ahhhhhh.... No..." Kevin only realized when he had been thrown. He screamed loudly but no one could save him because he had already fallen.
It was also impossible for David to save him.
And his screams were lost in just a few moments as he fell further and further down.
After that, Mery approached David with a faint smile.
"I don't think I want to see him again in my life, so it's better to kill him now," she said in a very casual tone.
Killing her old acquaintance seemed very easy for her.
David chose not to respond and looked at Aceng again.
To his surprise, the old man was still focused on the ashes of his documents.
He didn't seem to realize at all that his grandson had just arrived.
"Old man, it's about time you stopped crying over your money. After all, from now on you will only be my subordinate. All your wealth will belong to me and you live only to manage it," David told him in a high voice.
He even mixed his voice with his spiritual energy so that it buzzed inside his head.
It managed to bring him out of his funk.
However, his skin became paler.
"David, you might want to hold your tongue, what if this old man has a heart attack," Mery said, reminding David that Aceng was so old, he could die at any time.
David grinned.
Of course, he knew that. If it wasn't for the worry of the old man dying, David would have kicked him in the face.
"By the way, do you have a Mini Bomb?" David asked Mery.
"Sure!" Mery took out a Mini Bomb from her pants pocket, showing it to David.
"I'll put it inside this old man's head," she said.
After saying that, she walked over to a cabinet that seemed to hold various medical equipment.
The facilities in this office were very complete, there were even various types of medicine.
They were all obviously prepared for Aceng if he suddenly developed symptoms.
David didn't ask Mery if she could dissect another person's head. Considering she had lived on the battlefield, this might not be difficult for her.
In the cupboard, Mery took out knives, thread, needles, and various other surgical equipment.
When he saw them, David somehow felt uncomfortable.
Jane did not use this method. She directly made the other person's head open.
The process was quick and easy.
Although at that moment David was made to see the contents of a human head, but at that moment his mind was not in turmoil.
This time, he thought that the process was not something pleasant to see.
It certainly wasn't quick plus Mery was going to dissect the head of an old man who only kept thinking about money.
"Girl, don't do that!" Aceng suddenly spoke with a trembling tone of voice.
At this point, he really looked terrified, as if the grim reaper had come to him.
This old man should have a good understanding of how the Mini Bomb works. Perhaps he also had one given his connection to the Rothschild Family.
"Your fate is sealed, old man, but don't worry, you won't feel any pain. It's also only for a short while, I've done it hundreds of times," Mery replied with a mocking laugh.
After that, she looked at David.
"Wait outside if you don't want to see it," she told him.
David did not respond, but he chose to take a step out of the office.
Fear wasn't the main problem, he just didn't want to be so disgusted that he couldn't eat well in this country full of good food.
Mery should have started her surgery when he arrived outside.
He left the office door open, and so far, he hadn't heard Aceng's screams.
It seemed to be true what Mery said, that it didn't hurt at all.
If it had hurt, Aceng would have practically died right away just from the pain.
David continued to wait while occasionally glancing at the elevator, wondering if anyone would come.
The problem was that downstairs there must have been a commotion because of Kevin's fall.
If anyone came, David could only attack to keep them at bay.
Fortunately, no one came until Mery called out to him.
"David, you can come in," Mery said.
David walked straight into Aceng's office when he heard Mery's voice.
His eyes looked at Aceng's head. Now his head was bald, and there was a stitch mark on the left side of his head.
It looked very neat, and there were no visible traces of blood, only a few drops of liquid that might be wound medicine.
Aceng looked calmer now.
Although he looked at Mery hatefully, he remained silent.
"What do you want?" He asked David in a high tone, showing his hatred even though he didn't seem to dare to fight back.
"For now I just want you to return the shares you robbed," David replied.
The old man's face twitched at that.
Before he could answer, Mery said, "David, let's go now. There's nothing to worry about here anymore. He definitely won't dare to refuse orders as he's probably the human who fears death the most right now."
Mery's words could not be refuted by Aceng. He was indeed too fond of this world and afraid of death.
To be able to live until now, he had spent a lot of money on medical treatment and bought the best nutrients.
David nodded to Mery, not objecting to leaving now because it was boring here. Later, he would see the old man again if he needed his help.
In the end, things here went smoothly without any unexpected situations. Aceng knew about Spiritual Power, but unfortunately he didn't have it.
When they went downstairs, there was no disturbance at all. They descended from the highest floor to the building's lobby with ease.
Outside, there was a big commotion.
Some women were screaming loudly as if frightened.
However, there were also women who shouted out shocking words.
"Kevin, how could you die now, our child is still young, where do I claim your inheritance?"
It wasn't just one woman who said that, there were at least five.
Mery's expression instantly became ugly when she heard that.
Kevin was only slightly older than David, but how many women and children did he have?
Fortunately she really chose the right path by going abroad.
If she lacked sense and somehow accepted the arranged marriage with Kevin, her life would practically be full of bitter drama.
"You see, Mery, you have caused five women to become widows and their children to become orphans," David said with a quiet laugh to Mery.
His words instantly made Mery's skin turn pale.
She looked at David with bulging eyes.
"Let's go," she said without saying more than that.
"Where are we going?" asked David as he followed her out of the building.
"To my house," Mery replied, finally smiling again.
David showed a strange expression hearing that, he couldn't help but ask, "are you sure?"
"Why not, I need to see my mom and dad," Mery replied.
"By the way, my house is so big and luxurious, it's a better place to have fun," she added with a faint smile.
"Well, I'll follow you if you really want to go home," David said.
"Just, are we just going to walk?" he asked.
"We'll take a taxi," Mery replied.
She walked to the street, waving her hand at a light blue taxi.
It immediately stopped in front of her.
Without saying anything, Mery opened the back door of the taxi and got in.
She waved for David to get in as well.
David followed her without thinking much, and gave the driver one glance.
The taxi driver asked for the address they were going to.
After Mery told him the address, the driver immediately stepped on the accelerator.
Whoosh!
It moved quickly, overtaking the other cars.
David was a little surprised by the way the taxi driver was driving, wild and uncontrollable, similar to a wild racer.
