Chapter 154: Video
Chapter 154: Video
If Aurora went to the dean now, she would probably be in big trouble because the dean would be very angry.
The model thought it would be better if Aurora met the dean later, when the latter would be calmer so that her explanation would sound more reasonable.
After all, a beautiful woman like Aurora tended to be able to calm anyone down easily. If she wore sexy clothes coupled with speaking softly, even a hungry lion would be tamed in front of her.
Unfortunately, an angry dean was scarier than a hungry lion, so it was better to wait a bit.
To her surprise, Aurora raised her hand slightly and replied, "no need, I'll see him now."
Even David was surprised to hear her answer.
"Aurora, is it going to be alright?" he asked her.
As he spoke, the model couldn't help but stare at David, rolling her eyes as she thought that David was the main source of this problem because he took Aurora away.
Moreover, he took Aurora away not for anything important, but to get laid.
Thinking that Aurora was fucked by him, the model felt a little upset.
She did not find David inappropriate because she privately admitted that he was alluring. She also did not mind being fucked by him.
However, Aurora was the most beautiful model in Paris. She has special value. A man who already has a girlfriend should not defile her because she thinks Aurora deserves a good and faithful lover only to her.
Of course, she couldn't protest because it was also Aurora's own wish.
"Don't worry," Aurora replied to David.
She took a step after she said that, heading to the lecturer's office directly.
Seeing her leave, David was silent for a moment then said, "Just call my name if the dean gets angry."
His voice was quite loud, heard by several passers-by.
He was confident that his name could dispel the dean's anger because last time he even helped him solve the problem due to his fight just because of his supporter, Evelyn.
Aurora looked at David after the latter spoke.
She smiled faintly while nodding lightly.
It seemed that her confidence was indeed high.
David stopped worrying, and he was one hundred percent sure that Aurora would not resort to strange ways to appease the dean.
She might be flirtatious as a woman but that didn't mean she would sell her beauty or that there was no way she was a virgin until now.
At most she would just be gentle while smiling. It was just politeness but it was enough to mess with any man's mind.
Of course, given that she was now a Spiritual Being, she could have used force directly.
After she left, David looked around, wondering what he needed to do since he hadn't seen Jane's figure yet.
He thought for a while and finally decided to go to his class.
It shouldn't be long before his class started. If Jane was in this university, she would definitely come.
However, to his surprise, when he arrived in class, he saw Jane sitting in her chair, reading a very thick book, an economic history book.
Her eyes were looking at the door when David arrived.
After that, she put down her book, waiting for him to come.
Her eyes were actually rather sharp as they looked at him, so David felt a certain sensation, like he was about to be scolded by his wife.
He didn't need to guess to know that Jane was undergoing a change of nature again.
David was a bit cautious when he sat down beside her.
"Where were you last night?" she asked in a serious tone.
"Mmm..." David was a bit at a loss for an answer.
"Yeah, I guess I don't really remember where I was last night," he said.
In situations like this, sometimes it's better to say nonsense.
Jane wrinkled her forehead at that, as if she was becoming more annoyed.
However, she seemed to have something else she wanted to talk about.
"My mom didn't do anything to you, did she?" she said, changing the subject because that seemed more important to her now.
Her nature now made her very jealous, but at the same time she was becoming more protective.
She must be worried if her mother did something bad to David so she wanted to make sure of that.
David held her hand before answering, as if trying to soothe her feelings while hoping that her not-so-good nature would change into her pleasant nature.
"Don't worry," he said, "your mother just wants to know more about her son-in-law, she has no bad intentions. She even promised to support me in my fight to become your official lover."
Given that his special relationship with Evelyn would remain a secret for quite some time, David thought making up stories was fine.
After all, the next time he met Evelyn while Jane was also along, he could ask Evelyn to pretend like it was a lie.
Jane became calmer after she heard that.
"It's unfathomable that she's not causing trouble for you," she said in a low voice.
After saying that, she suddenly picked up her cell phone as a message suddenly came in.
David who looked at her phone screen found that the name of the messenger was Lancelot Rothschild.
When he found out that it was from a member of the Rothschild family, David somehow felt a little uneasy, as if his instinct was telling him something bad was coming to him but he couldn't guess now.
Jane looked upset when she saw the message of that name. She even seemed to want to delete it immediately without reading it but in the end she still opened the message.
As it turned out, it contained a video that was about three minutes long.
David felt even worse because three minutes seemed to be exactly the same amount of time that he felt he was being watched before.
Jane immediately opened the video without delaying a second because she didn't see any description of what the video was.
David's eyes quickly widened because the moment the video started, what appeared was a scene of him and Aurora on a motorcycle where the latter was hugging him tightly.
With Aurora's sexy outfit, he who is the man she is hugging seems like a rich young master who just brought home a famous celebrity.
What's worse is that it was recorded from the side so his face is very clearly visible.
(Jane, you turned a frog into a prince, but look what he did, he betrayed you so quickly.)
A message came in again below the video.
David rolled his eyes when he saw the message, thinking that later he would need to teach that person with the name Lancelot Rothschild a hard lesson.
Jane didn't watch the video all the way through. She turned it off and even deleted it before looking at David again with sharp eyes.
Her hand grabbed his wrist, gripping it tightly as if she wanted to warn him not to run away.
Jane should have understood this, but because of her special nature, things were different.
David took a deep breath, trying to smile.
The only thing that worried him was Jane's feelings that might be shaken or hurt.
He did not worry more than that because he knew that even with that trait, Jane would not leave him because her brain could still think rationally and knew how Zeus' power changed his way of life.
She looked at him sharply for a long time before speaking.
"I'll understand whatever you do, but you better make sure I don't know it, especially when I'm in this condition," she said.
David was quite surprised to hear her words because Jane was talking about a condition. This was basically her revealing to David that sometimes there were changes in her.
Maybe she knew that David was already aware of the changes that sometimes came out of the blue even though he knew it from his mother to begin with so he could always be prepared. If he wasn't prepared, he would probably say some nonsense that would only make Jane angrier.
Jane tried to calm down while holding her head. She even took a few deep breaths, which was rarely seen from her.
It seemed that she wanted to stabilize her emotions.
"Jane, what exactly made you like that?" David asked in the softest tone possible.
Evelyn only told him about Jane's change in nature which was similar to an overall personality change. However, the cause of that he still didn't know.
Since Jane was talking about it, perhaps now was the time to discuss it.
As her lover, he felt he had a responsibility to help her.
Jane could not respond immediately. She seemed to be thinking, even staring in different directions.
"It's something complicated," she said in a soft tone.
"Complicated?" said David, not understanding her meaning, but he felt that it involved various people because there was no way Jane would call it complicated if it was just a natural problem or a problem caused by certain things or accidents.
"It's a curse," Jane replied.
Her voice became quieter when she said that.
