Chapter 41: It's Come
Chapter 41: It's Come
The next morning, wh David wt to the living room after waking up, he suddly heard a knock on the door.
Audrey hadn't come out of her room and there was no way she would have knocked unless she lost her key on the way.
Curious, David oped the door to his apartmt.
Wh he saw who was knocking, he showed a strange expression.
It was actually a courier, and there wasn't just one courier, there were five, each carrying a large suitcase.
"Are you Mr. David?" asked the courier who had knocked on the door.
David nodded to him.
"These are all deliveries for you," the courier replied.
"Would you like us to bring them in or just leave them here?"
"Just put them here," David replied.
He now guessed who had st the suitcases.
"Okay, please sign this documt!" The courier th showed David a documt.
It contained an inquiry that he had received all the items st.
Appartly, besides the suitcases, there was a luxurious-looking box with two car keys inside, bearing the BMW logo.
Jane wasn't kidding at all, it only took one night for her to give this to him.
David wanted to sigh but he chose not to.
Wh thinking about Jane, he couldn't help but think about Evelyn who was going to see him today.
This made him quite uncomfortable as this would determine whether his relationship with Jane would go smoothly or be full of twists and turns.
After all, the support from his girlfrid's mother plays a much more important role than the support from other parties.
After the couriers left, David brought the suitcases into the house.
Inside, there were clothes and various gadgets, such as the latest iPhone and MacBook series.
Each outfit was also from famous brands, probably of them less than a thousand euros.
David ev found car papers in his own name.
However, what surprised David the most was a jet black ATM Card with gold stripes.
Wh he held it, he discovered that it was made of a very strong metal.
The ATM card was in a box along with a letter.
The letter stated that the ATM Card allowed David to withdraw any amount of money.
The PIN was also writt on the letter.
"What is this?" Wh Audrey came out of her room, she looked very shocked.
Her eyes looked at the suitcases one by one, dumbfounded by the luxurious items inside.
"Are these all from your girlfrid?" she asked David, furrowing her brow.
"Yeah," David replied, not dying it. Who else could have st them to him but Jane.
Though visibly disturbed, Audrey obviously couldn't say anything to commt on this either.
She fell silt and evtually just continued to look at the contts of the suitcases.
"Do you want this MacBook, sis?" asked David suddly, showing her the MacBook in his hand.
He offered it to her because she was planning to buy it, but maybe she needed to wait for next month's paycheck.
Audrey immediately responded by shaking her head.
"I'll buy it myself, use it for your studies," she said.
That she refused was something David expected.
She was too proud to accept something from someone else, especially if it was from her younger brother's girlfrid. The problem was that she was ev less fridly to her.
After that, David started moving the suitcases to his room.
He showered and changed, wearing the clothes Jane had giv him.
It was a pair of slacks and a gray shirt.
Wh looking at himself in the mirror in those clothes, David suddly felt that he came from a noble family.
He shook his head, not knowing whether to laugh or cry.
After that, he returned to the living room, ready to depart.
Audrey still didn't know that there was a car among the goods st by Jane, so she invited David to go with her.
David, who was not ready to explain, chose to follow without saying anything.
Wh they finally arrived at the parking lot, he and Audrey immediately found a very elegant White BMW.
It wasn't a sports car, just a sedan, but every side was full of luxury, intriguing the residts of the apartmt building.
Ev Audrey looked curious.
Maybe she was interested in owning that car.
After seeing the shape of the car, David thought it was fine if he used it. He would hesitate to use it if it was a sports car that was too flashy.
An elegant car like this was more in line with his relaxed and calm style. Jane clearly knew his taste.
"Sis, how about you come with me," David said to Audrey as he showed her the keys to the BMW.
Wh he pressed the button, the BMW's lights flashed.
Audrey of course immediately understood who owned the car.
She furrowed her brows again before asking David, "are you sure about this kind of life? A rich woman being your girlfrid and giving you so many luxuries."
That question might have bothered David if it was yesterday, but today he had fully accepted his new life.
"It may be inappropriate for some people, but this is my life and destiny, I will live it no matter what happs," he replied.
That instantly left Audrey speechless.
She pressed her lips together for a few momts before saying, "alright if that's your choice, but I'm leaving in my car."
She stepped towards her car after she said that.
Maybe she disagreed, but David couldn't change her way of thinking directly.
Saying something might not be useful either.
He thought the important thing was that he would show her that everything would be okay.
He th walked towards the White BMW.
Wh smhe tered it, he was amazed by its luxurious and futuristic interior.
Being in the driver's seat of the car was a great ssation.
No wonder rich people always look confidt. They live with ssations that people who don't have money can't feel.
David waited until Audrey left before starting to drive.
Wh he got on the road, the feeling of driving the car only became more overwhelming that he started to get out of control wh he stepped on the gas pedal.
He ev chose a differt road to Audrey. It was farther but more convit for him to drive fast because if he were to take the road Audrey was on, he would need to be a little more courteous by not going ahead of her car.
In the d, he arrived at the university in no time.
Of course, such a car was not ough to be the most conspicuous as this university had no shortage of rich people.
Only the Rolls-Royce used by Jane yesterday could be so conspicuous.
Ev so, David didn't want to be se by many people with that car, so he parked in a quiet place.
