Chapter 80: Investment
Chapter 80: Investment
When she saw David, Jane went straight to him. She even brought a brand new shirt that was still in plastic, probably bought on her way to this hospital.
All the doctors and nurses finally realized that Jane had come for David.
Perhaps because of her strong aristocratic aura, even the doctors unconsciously paved the way for her.
Jane's eyes fixed on David's shoulder, she furrowed her brows as she asked, "does it hurt? What about those people? Did they all run away?"
Asked three questions at once by her, David found it difficult to answer.
In the end, he looked at the shirt Jane had brought first.
"Can I get dressed first? I'll explain everything that happened outside," he said. Discover secrets at m-vl-emp _yr.
Fortunately, Jane did not refuse David's wish. She nodded to him, taking the shirt out of its plastic before handing it to David.
All the doctors and nurses just silently watched as David slowly put the shirt on until the bandage on one of his shoulders was covered.
After that, he stood up.
"Let's go," he said again.
This time, the doctor chose not to say anything else.
Of course, David still had to pay before leaving. That was taken care of by the nurse who escorted him to the ER.
Only after that, did David and Jane exit the hospital, arriving at its yard.
Right beside David's car, Jane's Rolls-Royce was parked, guarded by Lisa.
Pramono had apparently woken up from his stupor, he was no longer even in David's car, but beside Lisa.
The latter seemed to have asked him to wait.
Upon arriving outside, David began to explain to Jane how he had met those men from the Vatican, who numbered up to a busload, then they drove his car to a deserted spot.
He also told Jane the details of the fight.
"This is strange, they don't usually come with so many people," Jane said, looking a little confused.
For that matter, there was no way David could tell her that the reason was because she was wandering around in a very crowded place constantly.
David was worried that Jane would get suspicious if she kept thinking about it, so he quickly changed the topic.
"By the way, that guy," he said while pointing at Pramono. "He has created an interesting app. It seems to me to have great potential for success, so I brought it to you so you could take a look at it too."
"An app? Is it really that good?" asked Jane, looking interested but also looking doubtful.
Perhaps she was no stranger to this kind of thing as surely her family had invested into many startups.
"It's unique and it doesn't exist yet. From the moment I saw it, I thought it might make people like it," David replied.
Pramono was actually watching Jane, looking curious.
Afterwards, he said to David, "bro, are you okay? I heard we were attacked, I don't know why I suddenly fainted."
"No need to discuss that," David replied.
"And show her the app, if she's interested, that means your app can be promoted worldwide without any problems," he added while glancing at Jane.
Pramono should have guessed that Jane was the one who provided funding for his app. Since seeing her car, he really had no doubts.
In a hurry, he took his laptop from inside David's car.
Afterwards, he showed it to Jane.
Although initially pessimistic, after seeing how the app worked, Jane immediately showed interest.
"Have you set up a company for this app?" Jane asked Pramono.
"Yes, I hold 95% of the shares," Pramono replied.
"Then who owns the remaining shares?"
"It's owned by Boss Owen."
"Owen?" Jane didn't seem to know who Owen was either.
This left Pramono at a loss to explain. He then looked at David, showing a look like he wanted him to explain it to Jane.
Of course, David preferred that he himself would explain who Owen was to Jane.
"Owen comes from a wealthy family in this city, I accidentally became acquainted with him since last night. From Owen, I got to know Pramono," David said.
Jane looked at David as he spoke. She nodded after knowing who Owen was before looking at him again.
Maybe she didn't plan to find out what David was doing that he knew Owen. After all, Owen was a man, even if Jane was in a different personality, there was no way she would feel jealous or anything towards Owen.
Everything would be fine as long as Jane did not know that David spent a night at Owen's nightclub.
"By the way, do you have an office yet?" Jane asked Pramono.
The latter shook his head.
"I'm currently working out of my apartment. Of course, if you give me the funds, I'll rent an office soon," Pramono replied.
"However," he continued, "my plan is to establish a base in Southeast Asia."
"Southeast Asia?" Jane looked shocked after hearing Pramono's words.
Of course, it also made David wonder.
"The success of this app will practically boost the economy of the country it is based in, I want to boost my country's economy, so I want the headquarters to be in my country." Pramono calmly explained.
David frowned after hearing that, but to his surprise, Jane suddenly nodded.
"Okay, you can build a base there and I will still invest in your app," he said.
Jane's words were quite surprising to Pramono, he didn't expect that she actually agreed because personally, Pramono didn't mind even if it remained in Europe as long as there was investment that helped his app grow.
He was just looking for luck when he said he wanted to build a base in Southeast Asia. If Jane agrees, that's great. If she didn't agree, then he could only give up on helping his country.
"Give me your account number," Jane continued as she pulled out her cell phone. "I will send 1.5 Million Euros to you. Today, you must immediately return to your country and start taking care of everything, from renting an office and recruiting employees. Once it's ready, give us a call and David and I will come to your country to invest in your app."
Jane was very relaxed when talking about it all. 1.5 Million seemed to be just her daily spending money.
Pramono became more excited. He hurriedly mentioned his account number to Jane.
His excitement reached another level as Jane took only a moment to send 1.5 Million Euros.
Even Jane asked him to leave without worrying at all that he would run off with the money.
