Chapter 325: Cultivating Beast
"I might be, but there's something I need you to do for me first."

Regaining consciousness, Luo Yue felt her head throbbing in pain before anything else. Remembering what happened, she quickly examined her surroundings, but what she saw left her awestruck.
"This… Grandmother, how did you-"
Not even 10 meters in front of her, Luo Yue could see her grandmother sitting in the lotus position as if she was cultivating without a care in the world. This was the 7th floor of the Ancestral Training ground, it wasn't a place to let your guard down.
Hearing Luo Yue's voice, Luo Biya opened her eyes saying,
"Yue'er, you're finally awake."
"Grandmother, what happened? Where's the beast?" Luo Yue tried to get some answers.
The grandmother calmly pointed to the side where it sat quietly.
Luo Yue immediately equipped her whip then took on a battle stance.
"Put that away," Luo Biya suddenly told her, "It's no longer our enemy."
"What? Did you already tame it?" Luo Yue asked.
"No, I didn't," she replied.
"Then how can you be sure it won't attack us?"
The truth was, even if Luo Biya was told the same thing, she definitely wouldn't believe it. But considering the fact that she was able to cultivate undisturbed just now proved to her that Xiao Fang had undeniable control over the Cannibal Abnormal Beast, even when he was in the body of a clone.
There were only two things she was sure of:
First, the Cannibal Abnormal beast's intelligence far surpassed any other beast she had ever encountered before. The second being that Xiao Fang's true strength must've far surpassed the Cannibal Abnormal beast's strength to a frightening degree, there was no other explanation as to how he was able to control it without ever using any proper taming methods.
For such a monster like him to exist in this sect, and at such a young age too, she knew he wasn't someone she could provoke.
Sighing that it turned out this way, she knew she had no choice but to follow Xiao Fang's instructions. But it wasn't so bad, because after hearing Xiao Fang's plans for her, she knew she could benefit from this encounter.
Thinking about how to explain the situation to her granddaughter, she suddenly paused when she saw the strange expression she was making. She looked both confused and horrified.
"Yue'er, what's wrong?"
"Grandmother, what is it doing right now?" Luo Yue said while pointing in a certain direction.
Luo Biya turned to see what she was pointing at, but she became even more confused when she saw the Cannibal Abnormal beast sitting like it had always been doing. Just when Luo Biya wanted to ask what was strange about it, she finally realized it.
"That… It can't be."
Paying closer attention to the Cannibal Abnormal beast, she could see the Illusory Qi circulating through its body. It was pulling in the Qi from its surroundings in enormous quantities.
'That posture… was it copying me,' Luo Biya thought.
The Cannibal Abnormal beast was cultivating, but since when was there such a thing as a beast that could cultivate. The most frightening thing about it was that its Spirit Cultivation realm was quickly rising at a frightening rate.
Sitting at the opposite side of the cave, Xiao Fang kept himself hidden under [ Stealth ]. It was a first for him too, but he didn't want to interfere.
'How interesting,' Xiao Fang thought with a smirk.
"Yue're, let's go," Luo Biya said cautiously.
Luo Yue nodded then quietly followed Luo Biya out. The moment they were out, Luo Yue used an illusory technique to hide the cave's exit like her grandmother instructed her to. Luo Biya then used her own methods to hide the cave a little better.
"I don't understand, why are we hiding the cave?" Luo Yue finally said.
"I'll explain everything to you on the way out. Let's go, I must return home to prepare," Luo Biya replied.
"Prepare for what. What happened while I was unconscious?"

[ Club Center ]
In the Inscription Club room, Bai Fan had been studying all alone because Xiao Fang didn't show up. Leaving her books, she went to ask around to see if anyone saw him come in yet, but no one had seen him.
"He's not here," a voice suddenly came from above.
Looking up, Bai Fan could see that the voice was from none other than Xue Li.
"He's probably in our guildhouse," Xue Li added.
"Ah, I see," replied nonchalantly.
To most, Bai Fan was not just a cold beauty, but also a genius and the granddaughter of Supreme Elder Song. Going around asking about a boy was unlike her, but many already knew her and Xiao Fang were close since they were 2 of the 3 disciples to immediately be placed into the Phoenix-Class in the first year of getting into the Inner Court.
Xue Li on the other hand was a bit younger and shorter, but she was in no way a person that could be looked down on either. This was only her first year Spirit Cultivating, but she was already in the Spirit Refinement realm, and under the tutelage of her grandmother, Supreme Elder Xue, her Inscription knowledge far surpassed even the most talented inscriptionists in the sect.
"He likes you, you know."
For a moment, almost had a reaction on her flawless face, but she contained it as she looked back at Xue Li and asked,
"How do you know?"
"He told me," Xue Li replied.
Lifting her top a bit, she showed Bai Fan the Nameless guild nameplate she had tied around her waist. Seeing it finally made Bai Fan's expressionless face make a slight frown. She was also given the opportunity to join his guild in the past, but she declined it because she didn't know how her grandmother would react.
"Little Li, why are you telling me this?" Bai Fan asked.
Xue Li knew Xiao Fang was a man that could get any girl he wanted in the sect, and likely had a large harem already, but Xue Li didn't care about that, the only thing she wanted to be was his main girl. She thought for sure that she was more talented than any of the other girls in the inner court for her age, the only person she felt was standing in her way was Bai Fan who was 1 year her senior.
Although they had no hatred towards each other, the tension between them was evident.
"No reason, I just wanted to wish you luck. May the best girl win," Xue Li said.
