Chapter 386 The Truth About Me Part 2
Chapter 386 The Truth About Me Part 2
"Honey, did you wake up Zyden yet?" A man with a round face and body asked as he tasted the food he was cooking.
He was chubby, and his face wasn't all that good-looking, but there was a friendly vibe in his eyes. His voice was soft and gentle too.
"Not yet, love. I think he's still sleeping," she said, her beautiful dark hair falling around her face, and her eyes shining with warmth.
Her skin? Simply flawless.
These two individuals belong to the Ji-hoon household.
"I told you to stop spoiling him. He stayed up late watching TV again," sighed the hefty man.
"Don't worry, honey. He's not like the other kids, you know? Staying up a little late won't harm him much," Zayen replied with a smile, embracing her cuddly husband.
The chubby man blushed after getting flirted with by his stunning wife. He felt blessed to be with someone so beautiful, loyal, and caring.
In fact, most of his friends told him she was too good for him. Nevertheless, Zayen remained a faithful, loving wife and mother.
But she holds a huge secret, about herself and their son.
He knew that Zayen wasn't a regular human; she hailed from a clan known as the Zol Clan, a group most consider evil, but powerful.
She had been upfront about it with him, and truth be told, he wasn't the least bit bothered.
Zayen was now living a regular life with him, and she proved to be even kinder than most ordinary humans. Her background didn't bother him one bit.
The problem was with their son. He had powers early on, and his behavior was off for someone of his age. Zyden would sometimes do cruel things, like killing cats and even birds for fun.
He only listens to his mom, and honestly, he feels like his own son doesn't like him much.
"Honey, do you think it's okay for him to go to regular schools?" he asked with a concerned expression.
He loved his son, but he was worried that he might do something, like harm someone, due to his temper. A kid with anger management problems who could control things with his mind was a recipe for trouble.
Zayen didn't reply immediately. She knew her husband wasn't expressing concern out of a lack of love for their son, but rather out of fear of his abilities. She couldn't blame him; after all, he was only human.
"Don't worry, I've seen his future, and he'll be okay," she reassured.
She had the ability to catch glimpses of the future, not the whole memory, just bits or sometimes a general idea. This was unique to her, and even in their clan's history, this power wasn't documented. That's why she never shared it with anyone
In her vision, she saw an older Zyden becoming a powerful figure in this world. However, she kept this information from her husband, knowing that his human views on good and evil was different.
Her ability to see the future had influenced her decisions in life. She started following it, afraid that any changes would impact the future.
This led her to create the Foundation. Her visions revealed that Zyden would gain the power to mimic abilities, specifically from specific girls. So, she committed herself to searching this girls for him.
Moreover, she also foresaw her own capture and the unfortunate fate awaiting her husband.
Unfortunately, she couldn't intervene because it would disrupt her predictions. That was the curse of being able to see the future – she could foresee it, but changing it was beyond her reach..
"Honey," she spoke up.
"What is it?" he asked, placing the freshly cooked soup in the bowl.
"I'll be heading to the mall later, so I might be back late," she mentioned, her face filled with longing. Unfortunately, her husband was too preoccupied to notice.
"Sure, I'll call the babysitter," her husband replied with a warm smile.
'I love you. I hope we meet again if the afterlife really exist,' she muttered to herself, a tear slipping through her eyes. This would be the last time they would see each other.

8 Hours Later.
Zayen, who had been living happily, was now bloodied and wounded. Following the vision she saw, she came here to ensure that nothing changed in the future. Her son would become the god of this world, and sacrificing herself would not be in vain.
"What are you doing? Why did you attack us? Zed and us have a deal!" one of Cerebrum's agents asked. The deal he referred to was the treaty where Zed would assist them, and in return, her daughter could lead her own life without them probing into her identity.
She stayed silent, not offering any reply. Everything was going according to her vision.
"Capture her," ordered one of the agents.
Unknown to everyone present, someone had been watching the whole situation unfold from the shadow.

At the same time Zayen was captured, someone also broke into her house where her husband was currently taking care of Zyden.
"Where are you taking him?" he questioned with a pained expression.
He was now pinned down on the wall and couldn't move an inch, while the babysitter he hired was also unconscious on the ground.
In front of him stood a very handsome man with jet-black eyes and dark hair. Upon closer inspection, he bore a striking resemblance to Zyden and Zayen.
"Are you from the Zol Clan?" he asked again, stuttering a bit.
"I will take him with me," the mysterious man replied with an indifferent tone.
"No, you can't take him away!" he tried to use all his strength to break free, but it was futile.
"Stop resisting, this is for your own good," the mysterious man spoke up.
"What the fuck do you mean! Let go of me! Give me back my son!" he screamed in anger.
The man sighed and walked towards the babysitter, lifting her up using some kind of invisible power.
"W— What do you plan to do with her?"
"I'm sorry ," the mysterious man muttered, and the girl's small body began to morph. She became rounder, fluffy , and after a couple of seconds, she mirrored someone very familiar.
"How did she turn like that?" He was stunned after seeing the babysitter take on his exact appearance.
"Now it's your turn," the mysterious man shifted his gaze.
"N-No," he pleaded for mercy.
"This is for the future... No, this is for our future," the mysterious man forced a smile.
