Chapter 341 - 341

Chapter 341 - 341

When Cedric, Ian, and Mae arrived at the event venue they quickly spotted Camilla and Dave waving at them.

"How's Mor Co.?" Ian asked Camilla.

??

"You should know! I sent the numbers in this morning!" Camilla teased, all the VPs were required to send daily updates to Ian who then reported it to Cedric.

As a CEO, Cedric was very hands on, he wanted to see all of the trends in case someone missed something. He believed that if more people saw the information, the more chances there was of someone spotting an oddity in the numbers.

Ian simply laughed at Camilla's comment as they walked over to purchase tickets for the event.

"Five tickets. VIP." Cedric told the woman at the counter.

The woman eyes Cedric suspiciously for a while, VIP tickets were not sold to just anyone, and by the looks of it Cedric and his group were simple office workers.

"You do know that I can only sell VIP tickets to M Bank, Black Platinum VIP cardholders." The woman at the counter said.

Cedric heard Dave stifle a laugh behind him, of course Cedric had a Black Platinum VIP card, he did own the bank.

"Miss do you really think I would ask for those tickets if I weren't eligible?" Cedric asked as he handed the woman his card.

"This must be a fake." The woman accused as she took the card from him.

"How could it be a fake? Don't you know that those cards have such high security that you can't just copy one!" Dave suddenly said.

"Know it all." The woman scoffed.

"Of course we know that. We do work for the Reyes Group." The usually gentle and bubbly Mae said in a harsh tone.

"Relax, fine. I'll see if it swipes." The woman took out the terminal and swiped Cedric's card. She was pretty confident that this card would be rejected, in the country there were only a handful of people that had a card like that, and they most definitely didn't wear simple office clothes.

The woman gasped when the transaction pushed through, the VIP Tickets were also worth a small fortune each, making her wonder why such an ordinary looking group of people had this card.

"You treated us to the tickets?" Camilla asked as she moved closer.

The woman at the counter suddenly thought she understood what was happening, she had seen the news about Camilla, she was aware that this woman was the VP for Mor Co., thus making it understandable that she could afford the tickets.

"Yeah, I paid." Cedric said with a shrug.

"Miss, please sign." The woman at the counter said as she handed the receipt to Camilla.

Camilla threw her a puzzled look then laughed. "Girl, that's not my card." Camilla said as she pointed at Cedric.

"How hard is it for people to accept that that card is mine?" Cedric said with a laugh as he took the pen and paper from the woman and signed on it.

The woman, who was still very much confused handed the card pack to Cedric as well as the VIP passes.

"Where are the seats for these passes located?" Cedric asked, he wanted to be as close to his wife as possible.

"At section D sir." The woman said.

"Give me passes to section A." Cedric told her.

"Section A is reserved for VVIPs." The woman said, there were really only ten purchasable tickets for that area, and she was told to reserve it for important people.

"You're too low profile, that's why this is happened." Ian teased. "Watch." Ian said as he moved closer to the counter.

"Look, miss. Do you know who I work for and who these tickets are for?" Ian asked in a threatening tone.

The woman shook her head. She was afraid of offending the now intimidating Ian.

"We work for the Reyes Group, as a matter of fact we all come from the office of the CEO. Now do you understand?" Ian asked, raising an eyebrow at her.

The woman panicked. She should have figured out that they were somewhat important, a Vice President was with them. She had, of course, heard and read about the mysterious new CEO of the Reyes Group, everyone knew that he was not to be crossed.

"Sorry sir. Let me change your passes." She frantically said as she took the passes from Cedric and replaced them.

When everything was set in order, Cedric and his group walked inside the hall.

Today's event was a fashion show for the biggest ready to wear clothing lines across the globe. Island's Inc., which was now booming under Adrianna, was invited to participate for the first time.

The event would solidify Island's Inc.'s success and take Adrianna to new heights, meaning she could stand next to Cedric on the same level soon, something Cedric was eagerly waiting for.

Among the attendees were the who's who of the fashion and businessworld. There were many CEOs, designers, models, actors, actresses, and socialites mingling in the VIP area.

Many eyed Cedric's group suspiciously, just as the woman in the counter had. They however did not say anything as they could be working for someone important.

Cedric and his group settled into their seats when the heard a commotion outside.

"Wanna bet it's Eric?" Ian asked Cedric.

"I don't need to bet. We both know that only Eric could get that kind of reaction from women." Cedric said with a laugh.

"I know one more person who could." Camilla teased.

"Who?" Cedric asked feigning innocence.

"You. The new hotshot CEO." Ian said with a laugh.

"Well, I'm just Cedric today. I am just here to support my wife." Cedric said proudly.

"Ha! I'm not surprised." Ian said as he elbowed Cedric.

Cedric turned to see Eric arriving with Ram, Francesca Rocci, Katerina, Ayanna, Ray, Nicole, and Katerina.

"Alexi, Miguel, and Veronica must be busy today." Cedric said as he watched them walk over.

"Cedric, have you really forgotten?" Ian asked.

"What?" Cedric said as he threw a puzzled look at Ian.

"The line for Island's Inc. today was a cooperation between Veronica and Henry Hernandez!" Ian reminded him. "Veronica and Miguel are probably backstage."
