[Nightmare]

Chapter 165 [Warpshire]

Chapter 165 [Warpshire]

Gasps of panic and anxiety washed over the cafeteria.

The suspense was painful, and the fear felt tangible.

"I was dragging Master Tyrene by the wrist at the time.

She didn't know that I was creating a path.

If I weren't dragging her, she would have cut down a monster we ran towards.

However, the minute I spotted the Hellhound, I could not react in time.

I turned around and…."

Helix panned their faces.

"Booooooom! I hit my master in the chest!" He roared.

"She crashed into the ground behind us just in them…."

Helix watched as a minor earthquake crashed through the place he was standing a moment before.

The ground ripped apart in a line until it stopped ten feet from Tyrene's position.

Multiple trees fell to the earth to the left of her.

The attack wasn't even aimed at them.

It smashed the ground with a paw to kill anything in the light's direction.

Helix looked up.

His eyes kept moving up until he finally landed on the head of the Warpshire.

"The ground cracked apart in a massive earthquake.

It shot across the earth, destroying anything in our direction.

I barely moved out of the way in time to avoid the attack." Helix recounted.

"When I looked up…."

The Cheat hopefuls' eyes were wide, and their breath was ragged.

"I was staring at the Warpshire.

It was baring its nine-inch teeth in his general direction.

It looked like a regular wolf—if giants raised it.

Its massive red eyes were reflective and shown in the darkness.

No matter how hard it squeezed its eyes shut, it had to open them to blink.

Saliva was pouring down its lips.

GRRRRRRRRR.

I could smell its vicious breath.

Its bloodlust pressurized the atmosphere.

Most of all—It was pissed."

The beast let out a massive howl.

Helix couldn't hear it, however.

He turned around, found Tyrene, and waved his hand in front of his circle.

It made the light look like a strobe light.

Her attention broke away from the beast.

Tyrene saw Helix, who was making rude thrusting gestures.

He was licking his hand and smacking an invisible woman's ass enthusiastically.

"What… WHAT THE FUCK ARE—"

Tyrene's eyes widened in shock.

A massive wave of sound assaulted her ears instantly.

When she looked at Helix, he was motioning to run toward him—aggressively.

Tyrene jumped from her position and ran toward Helix.

Silence followed him again.

Before she could figure out what he was doing, he grabbed her hand.

A second later, the earth started breathing apart again.

This time it came in waves.

Tremble.

TREMBLE.

TREMBLE!

Tyrene turned around just in time to see what happened.

More than a dozen massive beasts ran out of the forest in the direction she was just at.

Helix wrapped his hands around Tyrene's eyes.

She moved her elbow forward, but before she could elbow him—

FLASH!

A wave of light assaulted her.

Helix released his hands directly after, and Tyrene could see what happened.

Booom!

BOOOM!

Boooooom!

BOOOOOM!

Tyrene swayed back and forth, keeping her balanced with the massive shock waves that followed.

BOOOOOOOOOOOM!

The earth cracked apart and blew Tyrene away.

When she opened her eyes again, Helix stood up with a shit-eating grin.

He threw a blanket on top of her and hopped in next to her.

Following his gaze, she thrust her sword out away from her chest and rolled over.

Tyrene looked to the area again on her stomach.

When she saw the scene in front of her, her eyes widened in shock.

"I acted quickly!" Helix announced with a fast voice.

"I pulled out another lighting circle, activated it, and started making vulgar motions at Tyrene."

Confusion ripped through the cafeteria.

"When she yelled, I released the Circles of Silences behind her, told her to run, and threw a sticky light circle.

It was like a sticky grenade and stuck the Warpshire's leg."

Eyes widened in astonishment.

"Monsters ran to Tyrene's past location in a death frenzy!" Helix roared.

"When they showed up, I triggered a flash grenade I dropped.

Those beasts could kill about anything, but they didn't know the terror of a person with first-person shooter strategy skills!"

The otakus and weebs burst into bewildered laughter.

"Vulgar taunting, sticky grenades, and a flash bang.

I went full neckbeard on those bastards in a few seconds!"

More laughter followed.

"Then I covered Master Tyrene's eyes and—

Boom! A blinding flash hit them at once, causing massive damage to each.

I wish I could have heard their screeches.

But I couldn't. I was too busy wrapping ourselves in a blanket to cover our lights, grabbing popcorn, and watching the show!" Helix explained with a wicked grin.

Armmogetton broke out.

A dozen beasts attacked the Warpshire in a frenzy.

It was striking back, but it couldn't fight every beast simultaneously.

Every beast that was following them rushed to their position at once.

Hundreds of monsters and beasts, canines, bears, and monkeys dropped from trees.

BOOOOM!

The earth shattered all around Tyrene and Helix.

However, it didn't hit them.

The ground was perfectly still.

Tyrene looked at Helix with wide eyes.

She couldn't figure out what was happening.

Helix had put a [Ground Reinforcement Circle] under them to prevent them from being hurt.

A [Charge Barrier Trigger] designed to activate if a projectile shot at them was in front of their eyes.

It worked just like [Love's Protection].

There was dead silence and darkness all around them.

He pulled out another flash grenade and three it far to the left of their position.

Tyrene was in a daze watching him throw magic circles around like they were free samples.

A spell that cost someone 20 gold cost him a copper for the disc and chalk.

Moreover, he made countless copies of spells during his learning.

Every day he had magic circle endurance training with Tilo.

He drew the same circle onto one hundred discs for practice during those two hours.

The training helped him create circles at the same quality despite mental fatigue.

Seven weeks later, he had a stockpile of useful circles and used considerable resources to prevent needing to replace them.

They were his lifeline.

BOOOOOOM!

Another silent explosion rang out.

It ripped a dozen massive beasts to shreds instantly.

The Warpshire let out a silent howl.

The creatures that would run at the sight of the Hellhound were deaf, blind, and dumb.

They were attacking it in a frenzy.

Sharp fangs ripped into its legs.

Powerful claws ripped at its face.

Excited laughs were filling the cafeteria.

Everyone was listening closely.

"I threw defense circles all around us.

Shock absorbers, charge barriers and set them up with conditional triggers.

There was a circle that would trigger a flash if someone tried to sneak up on us.

So we were relatively safe. However—"

Helix gave everyone an evil grin.

"A hundred deaf, blind, and dumb monsters were striking the alpha fearlessly."

Excited grins popped up, and hearts were pounding.

Some were holding back cheers.

"The Hellhound took a dozen attacks,

BOOM!

Earth shattered, and blood rained down on trees.

A massive ape would drive its fist into the wolf's chest.

Then it would open its five-foot maw, swing it down, and bite an eight-foot monster in half.

A bird would crash into it at full force.

It would swing its massive paw down at it.

Listen up. There's only one word that describes the fight." Helix whispered with a devious expression.

"Biblical."
