Chapter 91 [Group Training]
Chapter 91 [Group Training]
"Hello, ladies." Tyrene called out with a sharp gaze.
"I heard that you saw Helix win a real match against Tilo.
He also used a sword. Is that right?"
"Yes! It was amazing." Marie cried excitedly.
? "It was ree~dick~u~ous, master." Charlotte commented.
Riley just smiled and nodded.
"Good! That makes this a lot easier." Tyrene grinned.
"You now know that my training will make you strong.
As of this moment, you're officially going to know what my training is like."
A cold wind blew into the training grounds.
Marie, Charlotte, and Riley all realized that the conversation starter wasn't intended to be [festive].
"I want to make something clear upfront, ladies.
I'm not Macron. If you speak back to me or complain, I'll rip out of your windpipe and choke you with it." Tyrene warned with cold eyes.
The group shivered.
"I'll make something else clear.
I"m not going to be pushing you harder than that boy you love.
If you want to work harder, that's fine.
However, that's up to you." Tyrene explained.
"Unlike Helix, you have strong strength and defensive stats.
Moreover, you're not going to level jump twenty times in the next thirty days.
You have things easy.
So before you go home and whine to him, you should understand your life is twice as easy." She grinned.
The women's faces showed terror and confusion.
A warning like that meant pain was coming, and relief was impossible.
"Okay. Pull out your sword. I'm going to show you proper technique by swinging it, and then you will do it two thousand times."
"What!?" Charlotte cried.
Tyrene gave her an icy glare.
"If you want to experience what it's like to do it 3000 times with Level 17 stats for the next two weeks, I'll point you to the muscle memory circle." Tyrene warned.
"T-Three thousand at level 17!?" Marie cried.
"That's right." Tyrene sang with an evil grin.
"Are you starting to understand why Helix could liquify a Balken Bear eight above him in a single strike?"
Tyrene didn't want to harm the psychologically.
Their happiness was important for Helix's happiness and vice versa.
Moreover, she liked them.
She was a hard teacher. However, she didn't push people too hard.
Helix was a special student that required fast growth, had the protection stat of a non-Earthian, and the mental fortitude to handle the training.
So his example and strong results were a blessing.
Their training was easier and spurred on by the desire to protect him.
It was an ideal situation.
Still, that didn't mean it would be enjoyable.
"Yes…." Charlotte replied with a wry smile.
"Good! Here's your first demonstration.
Watch it right, or I'll make you do kegel exercises until you can't have sex."
—
"How… the hell… did… he… do this… for a month!?" Charlotte cried.
"Shhhhhh! Just get back to it before—"
"Squats! If you have the energy to complain, I'll make sure to get rid of it to prevent you from using it your lower body tonight!" Tyrene barked.
"Have you ever heard of sexual harassment training, teach?" Charlotte asked sarcastically.
"I'll show you sexual harassment!" Tyrene snapped.
"That's not how…. Fine, I'll do the squats!"
—
"S-Spider!?" Marie cried.
"Hoho! Your stereotypical blush-parade, bad bitch, good girl, hard asf character perfectly aligns with your arachnophobia!
No wonder you are the love representative!"
"Ummm… girls? Jokes aside, that thing has the question marks…."
"Hey! We aren't enjoying a gossip session.
If a level 27 boy can take that thing down with a sword and a low-level fire spell, I think you three can handle it as a group!
If you can't, I'll tell Helix!"
"N-No! W-Wait!" Marie cried.
"No! I'll go incinerate the spider right now—gahhhhhh!"
"Dying is the best way to prevent a leak, but it's also the worst way, you idiots!" Tyrene cried while covering her eyes with her hand.
—
"Hoh? A bet? You think you can win?" Tilo asked with a raised eyebrow.
"Yes. As a group, I think that we can land a punch on you." Marie replied.
"Tyrene has been helping us coordinate—" Charlotte began.
"Shhhhhh! You're not supposed to reveal our cards, idiot!" Marie cried.
"Hmmm. What do you want if you win?" Tilo asked.
"We want another date day!" Marie demanded.
"I see. What if I win?" He asked with a slight smile.
"We will clean your office!" Marie continued.
"Hah? Haaaah? Hahahahaha! Haha!" Tilo roared.
"Do you know what you're offering, in exchange for a date day?"
Marie, Charlotte, and Riley looked at each other nervously.
"... Mostly. We heard that it was a monumental task." Marie replied hesitantly.
"Hah. I accept." TIlo chuckled.
"Yes!"
"Let's gooooo!"
"I'm excited."
"Hmmm? Why are you three so excited?" Tilo asked with an evil grin.
"Do you think I'd accept a three-on-one battle expecting to lose?
Are you insane?"
—
"If I would have known we had no chance, I would have never…." Charlotte grimaced.
"Get back to work. At this rate, we'll be lucky if we see Helix this week!" Marie cried.
"Master, you could have at least gone easy on us…." Charlotte snapped bitterly.
"Hmmm? You're quite alive. So I would categorize that as [going easy].
It was three one one, and you all have natural disaster spells.
I was helpless. You should be saying sorry to [me]." Tilo grinned.
"Gah, nevermind!"
—
"Helix! We're so sorry that we're so late.
We've been—" Marie cried in a panic.
"What? No waaaaaay." Charlotte gasped.
"I… I'm stunned. I don't know what to say." Riley replied.
"I had some extra time, so I picked them up." Helix explained with a gentle smile.
"I got your favorites. Also, here are [Mykra Salt] bombs, and I designed a magic circle that creates bubbles.
So enjoy a bath and recover your bodies.
It will help you with your training."
"T-These are…." Riley began with trembling eyes.
"Lilimarsh Spinners." Helix confirmed.
"I convinced Master Tyrene to take me into Lilimarsh, so I could pick them up."
"That zone is—"
Helix lifted his hand with a warm smile.
"Everyone gets their [favorite] flowers, not just the best we could import for a full field.
That means you do two, Riley." He reiterated.
"Okay. Get bathed, and I'll finish dinner.
Make sure to give Tinker his gift too."
—
"You've done quite well. I'm impressed." Tyrene commented with satisfaction on her face.
"No we haven't, master! We did terribly!" Charlotte cried while waving her hands in front of her face.
"Hmmm? What type of nonsense are you speaking, child?" Tyrene snapped.
"Master Tyrene, I believe Charlotte's concerned that you'll double the difficulty like you always do when you compliment us." Riley replied with a calm voice.
"Nonsense! Jumping up ten levels on the monsters isn't [doubling] the difficulty!"
—
"Welcome back! I've missed you ladies!" Samma said when the group of women walked through the hidden door.
"We've missed you, too!" Marie called out with a bright smile.
"It's great to see you." Riley added with a warm smile.
"Hiya." Charlotte said with a warm smile.
"How were the kitty ears?" Samma asked with an interested smile.
"Worth it." Charlotte replied immediately without any hesitation.
"Worth it." Marie confirmed.
"Worth it." Riley concluded.
"Is that so…." Samma commented with a strange glint in her eyes.
"Well, well. Let's go try on your new clothes."
"Woah. This fits like a glove." Charlotte commented.
"But… I feel like I'm rich and famous?
It's kind of uncomfortable." She added.
"Hush, child! You look [stunning].
Just wait until that boy lights up like a sparkflyer, and you'll instantly understand how gorgeous you are." Samma snapped.
"Do you think he'll like my dress?" Riley asked.
"Hah… did any of you women forget that he designed these dresses with you all as models?" Samma laughed.
"Oh… that's true!" Marie cried with sparkling eyes.
"Now hurry up. You have shorts, leggings, v-necks, cardigans, snow jackets, wind-breakers, shoes, heels, and something called a romper."
"W-What!? He designed a romper?" Marie asked with bewilderment in her eyes.
"Haaaaaah. So women do wear them!" Samma chuckled with madness in her eyes.
"Come along. After everything's done, you still have to try on the naughty clothing I paid a fortune for that boy to design!"
"Wait, what!? Let's goooooooo!"
—
"Huuuuh…. Huuuuh…." Tilo panted on the ground.
"You women are getting hard to keep up with!"
"Damn straight we are!" Charlotte declared with a puffed-out chest.
"Where… did… you… develop so much damn stamina!" Tilo cried.
"..."
"..."
"..."
"Haaaaaah. Never mind." Tilo chuckled bitterly.
"You almost won today. You can have Friday off.
I'll talk to Tyrene, so work hard tomorrow."
"What? You're the best!" Marie cried with clasped hands and glittering eyes.
