Chapter 55: Good Times

“We’ll be working with their team in the next two days. Don’t let them get in your way again.”

“Hehe, I’ll beat whoever gets in my way. I’ll beat him down when I see him in two days,” said Jiang Xiao, who then turned around to look at Liu Bufan and strode towards him.

“Hey, Fatty, thank you for finding someone to help me,” said Jiang Xiao.

“We’re classmates, don’t stand on ceremony with me. My combat skills are horrible, so I might as well find you some help,” Liu Bufan said while chuckling.

“You’ve already helped me, so how can I blame you?” Jiang Xiao put an arm around Liu Bufan’s shoulder and said, “Hey, do you have the WeChat account of Gao Junchen from Class 1?”

“No, but we do have a cohort chat group. You might be able to find his username there.” Liu Bufan stared at the confused Jiang Xiao and smacked his own head before saying, “Oh right, you were late. I’ll add you to the group chat.”

The two of them then added each other on WeChat and Jiang Xiao was added into the group chat which consisted of almost 200 members.

After a long time, Jiang Xiao finally found “Gao Junchen from Class 1”.

He added Gao Junchen’s account and shook his mobile phone at him.

Gao Junchen gritted his teeth and stared at Jiang Xiao. He then picked up his mobile phone after feeling a vibration.

He opened WeChat and added him to his Friends list.

Gao Junchen initially thought that Jiang Xiao would give him a stern warning, but it turned out Jiang Xiao did not say a single word even after a long time.

Gao Junchen indeed felt a little confused. He looked up at glanced at Jiang Xiao, only to realize that the latter had already put his mobile phone away and was having a discussion with his teammates.

What’s going on?

He added me but he’s not saying anything?

Is this some trick of his? Gao Junchen thought as he felt that something was amiss.

“Damn it, he’s full of tricks.” Gao Junchen put his mobile phone away and anxiously waited for the reply of his three underlings. In the end, none of them returned to the team after a long time.

When it was nearing lunch break, Gao Junchen felt that things were too peculiar and so picked up his mobile phone again to look at WeChat.

“Jiang Xiaopi-mischievous-or-not” still hadn’t sent him any messages.

Gao Junchen tapped on Jiang Xiao’s profile photo to open it, only to be infuriated by what he saw.

Gao Junchen tapped on his personal feed and realized that there were only two statuses.

One was the photo of Jiang Xiao leaning against Yi Lianna’s perfect, long legs while seated on the ground during the morning lesson a few hours ago.

The silhouette beside Jiang Xiao was simply too perfect, and the fact that the girl’s head was covering the sun made her face look even more blurry yet dreamy. Her alluring figure was gilded with a golden halo that made Gao Junchen feel immersed and unable to snap out of it.

What about the latest status?

It seemed to have been published a few hours ago?

Based on the time, it should have been published after Jiang Xiao returned to the team.

Did he add me back then for the sake of showing me these photos?

This time, the photo was clearer and taken from above.

Yi Lianna was holding onto the mobile phone and smiling sweetly while standing beside Jiang Xiao.

The caption above the photo sent Gao Junchen into a rage.

“Good times.”

Good times?

Screw you!

Gao Junchen dropped his mobile phone in exasperation, causing his fruit-brand mobile phone to be wrecked. However, on the bright side, old things must go to make space for new ones.

Gao Junchen’s actions startled the people around him. He strode towards Class 2 while choosing to ignore even the coach’s scolding.

Over at Class 2, the students were surrounding Lei Jin, who was teaching two of the students some combat techniques. All of a sudden, he heard an angry roar. “Jiang Xiaopi-mischievous-or-not!”

The students quickly turned around to see that the hunk with the bowl-shaped hairstyle was storming towards them angrily.

“This kid is really infuriated. Haha,” said the younger brother Zhu Wu, bursting into laughter.

Slightly worried, Yi Lianna tugged Jiang Xiao’s shirt and said softly, “Let the coach settle it.”

To her surprise, Jiang Xiao asked, “Is that a question?”

Gao Junchen was dumbfounded.

Jiang Xiao scratched his head and said, “If it’s a question, my answer is, a bit.”

Liu Ke covered her mouth with her hand and turned as red as a tomato while trying to stop herself from laughing.

However, Zhu Wu burst into laughter unrestrainedly.

Even Yi Lianna, who was slightly worried, couldn’t help but laugh.

“Fellow student, we’re having a lesson now, please don’t disturb.” Lei Jin chided with a frown.

“Kid, where are my underlings? Where did they go?” Gao Junchen questioned angrily.

“They know that you idle about all day and go around bullying others, so they’ve decided not to befriend you. Under my persuasion, they decided to stay away from you.” Jiang Xiao smiled and continued, “By the way, I like girls, don’t you pester me again.”

Gao Junchen was dumbfounded.

All of a sudden, the students of Class 1 and Class 2 were flabbergasted.

“You f***ing, bullshit!” Gao Junchen couldn’t tolerate it any longer. He gritted his teeth angrily and charged at Jiang Xiao menacingly.

Along the way, Lei Jin managed to restrain him effortlessly.

His actions caused the students to gasp in shock.

Isn’t that... a little too effortless?

The coach is really something, eh?

Lei Jin glanced at the coach of Class 1 and asked, “What’s the matter?”

“I don’t know why he’s being so crazy. Leave it to me.” The coach of Class 1 was a buff and burly man who grabbed Gao Junchen from Lei Jin’s hand and strangled him tightly with a hand that was covered by Star Power. Gao Junchen could not resist at all.

“Just you wait and see! Just you wait and see!” Gao Junchen barked, his face turning so red that it seemed to almost bleed.

Jiang Xiao waved at Gao Junchen and sneered. “You’ll be back, won’t you?”

“Hahahahaha...”

“Hahahaha...” This time, the students of Class 2 were completely flabbergasted.

“You, shut up too! Stand properly!” Lei Jin turned to look at Jiang Xiao and barked angrily.

Jiang Xiao hurriedly shut up and stood properly.

The students watched happily, but Yi Lianna was still a little worried. After all, it happened because of her.

She reached out and tugged Jiang Xiao’s shirt before asking, “It isn’t appropriate to make such a big hoo-ha, is it?”

Jiang Xiao said, “When he shoved me into the utility room, nothing from then on would be too inappropriate.”

“Hmm...” Yi Lianna pondered for a while before answering, “That’s true. Sorry, Xiaopi.”

Yi Lianna couldn’t help but apologize. In fact, she felt very guilty and felt that she was still too young and so had the wrong mindset. She felt that everything could have been avoided if she didn’t allow herself to be pressured by others into taking photos with Jiang Xiao.

Perhaps, there wouldn’t have been such a huge conflict between Jiang Xiao and Gao Junchen.

However, this mindset was completely wrong to Jiang Xiao.

As he just said, the moment Gao Junchen got his underlings to shove him into the utility room, a huge conflict was already formed.

It was not like him not to take revenge on someone who went overboard and bullied him.

Besides, compared to the conflict that would be happening between Jiang Xiao and Gao Junwei, the one now was considered insignificant.

Gao Junwei’s replacement would definitely happen. Whether it was successful or not, the matter would definitely take place.

That would be the real, irresolvable conflict.

For the sake of Han Jiangxue and Xia Yan’s safety, he could not allow a selfish and self-centered guy to continue being a member of the team.

The team would have to carry out missions in various Dimensional Spaces and a slight carelessness would be fatal.

The team also strove for honor in various competitions. Each honor would be a plus point and a chance for being admitted to a higher education institution.

In this team, there couldn’t be any uncertain factors.

Once Jiang Xiao’s conflict with the School Tyrant Gao Junwei took place, there would be a full-blown argument.

Thinking of this, Jiang Xiao looked at his teammates and said, “Yes, I have to confess something to you...”
