"Family head" Rae greeted the head of the family. The man did not look like a sophisticated noble at all.

The tough looking man in front of Rae was dressed in a plain black shirt and pants. His shirt appeared baggy with few open buttons at the top.

The man was dressed up like mafia as if worried that his identity as family head would be leaked.

"See I told you he is a shameless human being who is not at all worth being nurtured." Elder Qino made a loud comment from the entrance of the door. He had been most probably waiting for Xavier to visit the family head.

The family head glanced at Qino with a questioning gaze, as if asking what he meant by this.

"He did not even bother to notify me before going to claim the rewards from you." Elder Qino added after getting the look from the family head. Although he was arrogant, he still knew who to offend and whom to not.

"Elder qino , it was me who completed the mission. If you are worried about your one time use artifact then worry not. I plan to properly compensate you." Rae who was disguised as Xavier answered Elder Qino with a smile on his face.

'That's it ? I expected more from him considering that he was a resourceful noble.' Rae thought with a smile on his face. He did not expect Elder Qino to come to the family head without any evidence.

How could the head of the family be biased to his own family members? Did Elder Qino think that being an elder in the family was enough to claim the rewards? Idiotic.

"You seem different... Have you reached it?" Shivam Kerr ignored Elder Qino outright, his gaze was focused on the young man known as Xavier in front of him.

The young man was talented, though not very much like few of the prodigies in the capital but with enough resources there was this chance of him reaching level four.

He favoured people with talent, that was obvious from the arrogance Elder Qino showed even though he was not even right in many scenarios. Shivam ignored Elder Qino's atrocities because of the natural talent that his elder cousin showed.

He believed that Elder Qino would be able to naturally reach level four. Because achievement of leveling up was not significant if it was not natural.

Take Hina for example, she reached level three but was useless in battlefield.

This was a great deal for their family, a new level four would increase their strength among the other count ranked families.

Hina had just entered from the door as she heard the family head praising her son.

She was dressed in a high slit maroon red one piece dress and walked with elegance. Elder Qino was distracted as he happened to have a look at her beautiful thighs.

But Elder Qino turned mute when he heard his cousin praise Xavier for making a breakthrough. Oblivious from the events that had occurred last night, Elder Qino was here to get a dominant share of rewards.

He was happy that Hina was nowhere to be seen. Because she was the only one who could make him negotiate and give up a part of rewards.

Being the closest person who could achieve level four warrior strength, Elder Qino was sure that Shivam Kerr would place families strength above the youngster's.

"You reached what..?? How could he!!??" Elder Qino looked to be in shock as he heard the praise from the family head's mouth.

"You reached level four Xavier? Excellent! I always believed in you my son." Hina who had just entered the family head's room heard that her son had broken through.

She quickened her steps and came close to Xavier before hugging him tightly in happiness.

'Look at her pretending to be unaware! She doesn't realise that I know she was awake.'

"I was just about to tell you. But you were not in the room. So, I thought of informing the family head before searching for you." Xavier said to Hina with a smile as he hugged her back.

"It's okay. I was just on my way to prepare for a few things. But it seems I don't need them anymore." Hina muttered with a sigh of relief as she said this.

Elder Qino and Family head knew what Hina was talking about. It was no surprise that Hina was preparing for Elder Qino's plotting.

The favouritism shown to Elder Qino was very obvious. Hina being a mother of Xavier could not help but prepare a few methods to get support from other members of the family.

"Everyone here looks satisfied with the decision." Family head said as he glanced at Elder Qino who could not even utter a word out of shock.

Elder Qino realised that the favouritism that his cousin had shown him would end from now on. A real level four warrior who is young was far more important than the old man like him.

"Since, Xavier here has reached level four then why don't you go and claim the resources as well as your rewards." Family head commented as he handed over a key and a book to Xavier out of nowhere.
