Chapter 2069: Elder Bai

Chapter 2069: Elder Bai

The materialised giant Dao Blade dropped down against Jin's Giant Panda but it looked as if Jin had sufficient control in his powers that he was able to multi task to fight against Captain Hei as well as the visualised silhouette that he had summoned.

Jin's Giant Panda was able to perform the legendary grabbing move of using his paws to stop the Dao Blade from going any further. By doing so, Jin's Giant Panda had also managed to start doing damage to the Hei's Scarred Panda by shooting out spiritual bolts from its body.

While that was happening, Jin rushed in with his Blood Mana Katana filled with an overflowing yin and yang energy alternating along his sword to slip in a blow against Hei.

Hei also reacted accordingly by pouring more than the usual amount of spiritual energy to counter against the human's attack. But all of a sudden, a paw reached out to both parties' weapons and stopped the fight from moving any further.

"Elder Bai!" The other Pandarians who were watching the scene suddenly saw the Village Chief appear to come out and personally end the fight with his presence. Captain Hei quickly withdrew his Dao Blade and went to prostrate right in front of his mentor but Jin did not let go of his sword or the stance that he was in.

"For a person who had our powers, you are a little hasty to die, are you not?" The Village Chief said and Jin smiled.

"If you could grace me the opportunity to fight against you, I think you will understand why I am in a rush to show off," Jin remarked as he now relaxed his stance and removed his sword away from the Village Elder's paw. He could see that there was indeed a slight cut from Jin's action and the Blood Mana Katana managed to absorb some blood from it before Jin retracted from the Elder's Paw.

With that small trace of blood, the System was able to quickly identify the Chief of this Panda Humanoid Village as a Rank Ex-A entity. There was no way Jin could defeat it and he slowly understood his original System's intent of sending him here.

Whether it was planned or coincidence, he was lucky not to meet a Demon with a Rank Ex-A during his northern expansion, or else Ress could be in deep trouble.

At the same time, it felt as if the original System had predicted correctly that the difficulty of this world was what was needed for Jin to level up so that he could have the strength to face the celestials. Surely, Jin had hidden his powers but even if he were to reveal them, it was unlikely they would be able to win against them.

In retrospect, even Peppers and Milk did not dare to brandish their powers to kill the celestials to get their body back when Jin was stuck in the Synthesis World.

The only person who dared to kill was Diabolos and because of the consistent feud between the Demons and Celestials, they were able to keep this something akin to inevitable loss. But if the Celestials ever realised the demons were in cahoots with a planet's species, then it would be the Celestials' job to annihilate that entire planet.

"So, my new Grade 4 really showed that I am just noob after all." Jin thought to himself as he also kneel but with only one knee and greeted the Village Elder.

"Explain before your head touches the floor. Where did you learn the spiritual technique of Pandas. And what is that last line of title that you said that you were in? Clan Head of the Royal Zodiac Pandas?" The Village Chief questioned and Jin gave the most straight forward of answers.

"Believe it or not, I am not of this world nor I am from this universe. My name is Jin and I hailed from a planet called Earth. If you allow me to explain more of this story as much as it will sound ridiculous, than you will have a better understand of the purpose for coming here." Jin said and Village Elder sighed.

"Hei, escort this human to the guest room and see that he had been served to befitting of a guest."

"Yes, Elder Bai." Hei nodded.

"The rest of you, clear the damage done by these two and fix back those bamboos seals by the end of the week. We do not want the Demons to come finding us so easily after what had happened to the Crane Village." Elder Bai added and the rest nodded their heads.

"Demons attacking your village as well?" Jin asked and Elder Bai gave him a side eye for a moment before hopping gracefully up the stairs while Captain Hei begrudgingly escorted Jin towards the village's guest room.

"Are you not going to answer the question? Are Demons attacking your village as well?" Jin queried once more, now towards Captain Hei since the Elder had disappeared.

"Yes." Captain Hei felt that if he were to ignore the queries of this young human, there was no way he was going to stop asking. At the same time, it also meant that he needed to expose the village's weakness to the human as well.

"Well, continue. That one word answer is not going to suffice." Jin said and Captain Hei rolled his eyes.

"My duty is not to answer your question but to escort you to the –" Suddenly, he could feel that Jin was not following behind him and then he saw Jin disturbing one of the Pandarians who was sleeping outside his house.

"Why are demons attacking your village? Is it a warning? What happened to Crane Village?" Jin pretended to be annoying and Captain Hei felt even more irritated than usual. Experience tales at ???

"ARGGHH I will tell you about it! Do not disturb the villagers and follow me strictly to the guest house, or else-"

"Or else what? Give me a beating? We can continue right here, right now. And then Elder Bai will come out and decimate not only me but you for not controlling the situation properly." Jin teased knowing that Captain Hei was subservient to his Village Chief.

"Fine! Fine! I promise. Now would you just follow me first?" Captain Hei could not believe a human could be this troublesome.
