Chapter 401

Chapter 401 - The Strange Third Elder Became the Secret Medicine of the Martial Cultivator

Now, they actually had another chance to become martial cultivators!

In that moment, the leader was ecstatic, rushing forward to receive the small pill from the Third Elder's hand.

“Thank you, Third Elder!”

The others lit up with wild joy, each expressing their heartfelt gratitude to the “Third Elder.”

The Third Elder simply nodded in response.

Having received the small pills, the group harbored no suspicions and promptly swallowed them.

The “Third Elder” watched this unfold with a detached gaze.

Meanwhile, in a corner, Jiang Weiping, Uncle Hai, and Wen Tao were bound and immobilized.

They silently observed the bizarre spectacle, their faces etched with confusion.

A secret medicine that could give ordinary people the chance to become martial cultivators?

Could it really be true?

If so, such a secret medicine would be incredibly valuable. Even the Nether King's Hall, with its vast resources, couldn't possibly distribute them so freely, could they?

And to these seemingly insignificant individuals, no less!

It was all highly suspect.

Suddenly, Uncle Hai caught sight of the jade medicine bottle the Third Elder handed to one of the men, and a shock ran through him.

He had only seen such a finely crafted jade bottle in Jiang Hao's possession, and he knew Jiang Hao was adept at a very sophisticated art of disguise.

“Could it be Mr. Jiang?”

The thought abruptly surfaced in Uncle Hai's mind.

Not just Uncle Hai, but Jiang Weiping and Wen Tao also sensed something was off.

When had martial cultivators become so devalued?

As they mulled over their confusion, the “Third Elder” approached them directly.

He flashed them an enigmatic smile and effortlessly untied their bonds.

At this, Uncle Hai's face broke into a relieved smile, his suspicions growing stronger.

The others who had ingested the secret medicine watched the “Third Elder” release the captives, their concern mounting.

But then they remembered how these individuals had been subdued by this very man upon their intrusion, and they held their tongues.

Freed by the Third Elder, the group, excluding Uncle Hai, remained on edge, wary of whatever ploy the “Third Elder” might have up his sleeve.

At that moment, the Third Elder turned to Jiang Weiqing and unexpectedly spoke up.

“Dad, sorry you were startled. I've come to rescue you!”

The voice was distinctly different from the one before, and Jiang Weiqing immediately recognized it as his son, Jiang Hao's voice!

The others were just as taken aback, but Uncle Hai had suspected it all along.

Jiang Weiping gave the “Third Elder” a quizzical look. After a brief pause, he ventured cautiously, “Hao Hao?”

Uncle Hai chimed in, slightly embarrassed.

“Mr. Jiang, I'm terribly sorry. No sooner had I arrived at the Hsu Family than I was captured by the Nether King's Hall!”

The Third Elder gestured dismissively.

“Don't blame yourself. I never anticipated that today's events would involve the Nether King's Hall!”

With Uncle Hai's corroboration, Jiang Weiqing and the martial cultivators, Wen Tao among them, were utterly convinced that the “Third Elder” was indeed Jiang Hao.

Meanwhile, the Hsu Family's guards watching over Jiang Weiping were completely bewildered.

Someone ventured uncertainly, “Master?”

The call snapped Jiang Weiping, Wen Tao, and the rest out of their reverie, their faces turning grave.

Yet, the Third Elder remained serene, turning to face the individuals who had ingested the secret medicine with an icy gaze.

“Fall down!”

The Third Elder's cryptic command left everyone baffled.

But in the blink of an eye, they felt their strength ebbing, darkness enveloping their vision, and they all collapsed to the ground!

Witnessing this, Jiang Weiping, Uncle Hai, Wen Tao, and the others were struck with horror.
