Chapter 157 - 157
Chapter 157 - 157
Everyone observed how Mihawk and Josh walked back toward the base where the meeting happened.
Josh and Mihawk were walking as if they didn't fight, or destroy this island. Josh was having his hands in his pockets, a few dry drops of blood, but no bruises, and his clothes were torn. Meanwhile, Mihawk had dry blood spots on his chest, and his clothes were torn as well...
"Hawk Eyes. Gambler. You have done pretty much heavy damage. How are you willing to justify this for your little fight." Tsuru, the old woman, asked while looking at the two warlords.
It's known that marines hate Warlords, for one simple little reason.
Josh smirked at the old granny.
"What?" She asked.
"Your memory may be old. But as Warlords, those acts of us are allowed by the power of law." Josh said. "Ask any young marine."
The old woman just scoffed and stared at Mihawk, who said nothing.
"This meeting is over. Please, take your leave." Tsuru said and left.
Meanwhile, Josh and Mihawk exchanged a few words.
"Joshy! You really won! Does this make you the strongest swordsman in the world?" Hancock opened her arms widely and ran toward Josh, before hugging him. She then let her hands run through his body as she squatted, looking for any injury. Once she touched his D, she sighed in relief.
"I guess the title is passed to you. Be careful, it won't stay like that for too long." Mihawk said these words, before making his way between the marines and the warlords, not caring if they hear him.
"Well, that's interesting." Doflamigo, who was crossing his arm and leaning on the wall, smirked and looked at Josh.
Hancock was showering Josh with love, as he was trying to tell her to delay it until they meet in a more private place.
Meanwhile, the marines, who were not dead by jealousy, could only mutter.
"He defeated Mihawk, in swords fight, and even force him to admit he is the Strongest Swordsman."
"Hey, they can this island in half."
"Geez. That's what you can expect from a man who gave Admiral Akainu a scar." Josh almost chuckled when he heard that comment.
The marines were talking.
Akainu, who heard them, said with a stern voice. "Shut the hell up."
The navy soldiers stood up in line, afraid of the rage of their admiral.
Akainu walked toward Josh, who seemed to have a good conversation with Robin and Hancock.
Josh turned his head to Akainu.
Akainu flinched and said. "How did you survive that day. I saw you sinking in the water. My Haki confirms it."
"Why should I answer?" Josh asked him back.
Hancock raised her eyebrows upon realising one thing. She pointed toward Akainu and said. "So, this is the Some Logia User that kicked you and you wanted to learn Haki to repay him a favour."
Josh silence was enough to answer. Hancock turned to Akainu, angry expression taking over her face.
"You bastard! You dare to hurt my little Joshy! I'll make you suffer for this!" Hancock said angrily.
Josh, who saw the future, felt he has to stop her. She would give a sneak kick to Akainu, which should send him flying, and it would cause a big battle. Though he has to admit, she was pretty fast compared to her previous self.
"Calm down. He is mine." Josh said. He then looked at Akainu. "For your question. What's wrong? Can't sleep at night." Josh smirked at Akainu, provoking him.
Akainu flinched a bit, and he said. "Your day shall come. I shall find what you've done with Saint Carlos, and your end would be then."
"Yeah, yeah." Josh extended his hands and shook them. "I'm so afraid that I'm shaking."
"You bastard!" Hancock jumped up and kicked, so fast that it wouldn't be seen by a trained eye. Josh, who saw the future, grabbed her ass quickly, letting her foot stop next to Akainu's face, who didn't even flinch.
"I'm not really afraid. Can't you tell what sarcasm is?" Josh said. Noticing her speed, she put his hand on his chin and thought. Her body isn't used to the effect of medicines, so agility stuff from Good and Excelled ranks should go for her. Speed, after all, is a deadly weapon.
"But I can't handle the idea of seeing you shaking."
Hancock turned to Josh and put her hands on his cheeks, and looking at his eyes with puppy eyes.
Seeing that Josh was being spoiled like this, Akainu knew it was another attempt to insult him. He gave them his back and started walking. "Your day will come." He then vanished from their sight.
Once he left, Robin let a sigh of relief.
"By the way," Hancock said. "For you to resist Conqueror Haki coating from his sword. It's remarkable."
When Josh saw her face, he saw that she was worried. Josh remembered the black lightning that surrounding Mihawk's sword. It surely gave Mihawk high strength. It even damaged Josh without making a contact, as their swords had clashed. So, it wasn't a matter of strength.
"Coating? You can do that with Conqueror Haki. I thought it was just to tame beasts and knock out annoying weaklings?" Josh shared his opinion.
"Yes and no," Hancock explained. "It gives a dramatic strong boost and can do damage even to the strongest people. Even I couldn't master it yet. I only heard that one of the old empresses of Amazon Lily had mastered it."
Josh has yet to have Conqueror Haki, or yet to awaken it. After all, one has to pass through a traumatic experience. Hancock had been enslaved. Doflamigo had lived hell and killed his own father. Josh, on the other hand, didn't want to experience a traumatic thing, not like seeing his girls dying.
At any rate, Josh is very strong, and could still get stronger.
"I see," Josh said, before shaking his head. "Robin, can you take Hancock to my ship. I'll catch up to you a little bit after."
"Mm… don't get late, then." Hancock gave him a kiss on the forehead before she turned and walked along with Robin. Robin gave Josh one last glance before she left.
"So… you had to send them away before meeting me."
Next to Josh, a blond buxom woman appeared, wearing a mask. She took her mask off, revealing her pretty face and blue eyes.
"I didn't want things to get dramatic." Josh kept staring at Hancock's rear. Although the woman next to him was charming, the woman that's leaving was more charming.
"Hancock is a queen drama?" said Stussy with a teasing tone.
"Yes, you get that right." Josh turned to her and smirked.
Stussy was holding a bag. However, the most charming thing was the bag the blond woman was holding.
Stussy smiled at Josh, and leaned forward, before landing a deep passionate kiss. She took her head back after moaning in pleasure and said.
"I'm not that dramatic."
"I guess that gives a plus point." Josh and Stussy smiled at the same time.
"Let's move to a more private place."
"Okay," Josh said.
