These rewards are promising, it seems.
Josh, Mikita, Gem, and the other guys, under the lead of the current Mister Ten, has arrived at an island, a small one. Agents with numbers have some recruits to assist them in their mission.
Their ship was standing from far. Josh, who heard the notification, just lowered his head. As it seems, he knew how these tasks work. He knew why the system is calling it a gamble. Because it triggers only when there is his life to bet on.
No wonder it hadn't triggered when he fights someone in the street, or whatever.
"As you see, here, the new rising group arrived at the Grand Line. The Mantis Pirates. Their leader, Ron, 25 million berries, along with his vice 15 million, are currently resting in that hotel."
Mister Ten Pointed to the island. Although they kept rather a far distance, they could see the shadow of a hotel. One can assume that it is 5 stories in height.
"Now, here's the plan."
Miss July eyes them one by one.
She pointed to Josh. "Your body build would be enough."
She then explained to him his role.
Josh would have to sneak inside the hotel, to the highest floor, before putting a sleeping potion in their water storage.
He was chosen because he looked like the most agile one.
Mikita could do that job. Yet, her offensives strength was more needed on the battlefield.
"Excuse me?" Josh said.
"Yes." Mister Ten raised his eyebrows.
"Why don't we just put poison instead of a sleeping potion."
Although he wasn't a killer, he couldn't help but ask.
Mister Ten sighed. "Are you that Silly? You must realise that you get the full bounty when you handle the pirate alive. Marines give those instructions for us since they need to do more public executions."
"Oh." Josh opened his mouth a bit and nodded.
Mikita looked in his direction and smirked. "You like to be efficient, don't you?"
"Just asking." Josh shrugged his shoulder. She just smiled in his direction.

The sun was setting. This time, pirates would prepare for dinner and drink. In any case, they would soon drink water, or use it in their food.
Josh, who moved in a small boat alone to the beach of the island, landed on his feet, his body covered in dark clothes.
He looked behind. His original ship is there. The guys should now be waiting for his signal.
'May God has mercy on my soul,' Josh prayed in himself as he started moving on his toes.
Around, pirates were walking and laughing.
Josh wasn't allowed to fight with them.
Taking advantage of his rather smaller stature, he used the trees to hide as he approached the hotel.
"Did you hear something?" Some pirate spoke as he turned his head, only to see a tree.
"What?" His friend, who was alone with him, said.
"Wait here." The pirate took a dagger, slowly walked toward the tree, and jumped, circling around it.
But he saw nothing.
He scratched his hair. "I swear, I thought I saw a shadow moving."
His friend patted his shoulder. "I think you mean your own shadow."
"How dare you!"
the pirates were generally known for cold blood and low temper.
"Don't speak to me like that."
The two of them started fighting.
Josh, who was standing on the top of the tree, started breathing.
'Good I learnt how to walk on the walls.' He thought to himself. Luckily, his legs have the power to lift a half-ton. With proper techniques, he could push himself running on walls, depending on his momentum.
Leaving the pirates behind him fight, Josh started moving, before the others could come.
He now was behind the hotel, where the pirates were supposed to be.
The Mantis Pirates, he knew from his superiors, were pirates that were trading weapons.
Their headquarter is on this island.
And now, they are a target for Baroque Works.
Taking few steps back, Josh looked at the top of the hotel. That where he is supposed to go.
He dashed forward, put his foot on the wall, and changed his body's posture, before pushing himself up, his legs moving quickly depending on his momentum.
Josh found himself ascending. Sometimes, he would rest and stop with his hand holding a window. He then pushes himself up and let his feet gives him momentum.
In a minute or so, he beat gravity and reached the roof.
The water storage was there in front of him.
One must know that in a world of islands, clear water is appreciated very well.
People rather drink from clean water sources, not seawater.
Josh started walking forward as he took a potion from his clothes.
But, as it seems, someone was here.
A man, half-naked, bathing under the water storage, met his eyes with Josh's.
Josh frowned. 'For real.'
"Hih… who are you!" the pirate was full of muscles, and he dwarfed Josh. The difference was between a man and a babe. One can tell that easily if they looked at his 2.7 meters build.
'What is this. The Fist of North Star.'
Josh knows fully that he would be attacked.
Quickly, he dashed forward. The guy quickly clenched his fist and punched forward.
Josh, depending on his epic tier physical talent, could master Kung Fu quickly. However, he was inexperienced. But he was under the adrenaline effect.
Quickly, he parried the punch with his hand, making a claw with the other hand and waving.
A wound, which was followed by blood, appeared on the body of the pirate who didn't stop and attacked back with a kick to Josh's leg.
Josh's talent quickly allowed him to adapt to the fight. He quickly jumped up and gave a double kick on the man's chin, knocking him down.
Quickly, as he landed, Josh clenched his fist and gave a very strong punch to the man's face, making him sleep. Ever since he practised that manual, Josh had learnt how to make stronger punches.
"Ha Ha Ha…."
Josh panted and swept a sweat from his head, before looking at the man down, feeling proud of what he has done.
He put his hand on his heart and took some deep breathes.
He shook his head, climbed the storage, and started pouring the sleeping potion.
He then went to the roof's edge, his hands on his hips.
Now, he had practised how to climb, but not how to descend.
"I'll just jump and hold into the windows on the way." His body isn't so fragile.
He needed to go back to the beach and send signals for his team to come here and take care of the rest.
