Chapter 83 - 83
Chapter 83 - 83
'I'm one crazy bastard.'
Josh had never thought that his bluff would lead to this.
Akainu got out of Josh's Wrath Flames, and he was cracking up his fists, starring down to Josh, who was 2.4 meters tall in his Demon Form. But in comparison to Akainu's 3 meters build, Josh is still little.
Although Akainu was stabbed in the ribs with a Seastone knife that should weaken him, Akainu didn't look any weaker.
In fact, he was more pissed off.
Moreover, there are burns marks on Akainu's face and clothes.
There were more red burns under his clothes. Catching him off guard before he uses Haki had given Josh a good chance to burn him.
It seems that Josh's gave him a long scar on his neck.
Taking one step forward, Josh decided to attack.
Quickly, he bent down and aimed a sidekick at Akainu's leg.
Akainu stood still, not moving an inch when he got hit.
Akainu, lifting his foot, stared at Josh's face and stomped toward him.
Rolling, Josh dodged, and Akainu's leg hit the wooden platform.
Although the kick was so strong, the wood of the deck only cracked, as if it had metal underneath it. Or because Akainu controlled his strength in the last second.
'He is pissed off.' Josh could notice that as he put his hands on the ground, pushing himself up jumping, and he kicked toward Akainu's face.
Akainu parried that kick with his arm.
Frustrated, Josh took his leg back and flipped backwards, crossing his arms.
When he looked at Akainu, Josh opened his arms and crossed many times in a row. Many red air blades in X shape left his arms and hit the admiral.
This was a technique he had developed using Kung Fu and a developed version of Storm Legs.
Only Akainu's clothes were cut, but nothing happened to his body.
"Even without Magma, I still can get rid of you. Justice wouldn't submit to the trickster like you."
The only reason Akainu isn't taking that knife out is that it hit a vital vein. Once he takes it out, he would bleed litres (a unit like gallons) in seconds. But as he is now, Akainu believed in his strength.
It's easy to kick a pirate.
Akainu formed a fist, punching toward Josh, who joined his hands together and parried that fist. When Josh took a step forward and jumped, ready to deliver a punch, Akainu managed to hold him from the neck with a quick left hook.
"Sometimes, Justice can be very painful to the likes of you."
Josh put his hands on Akainu's wrist, trying to push his hand away from his neck.
Akainu, covering his fist with Haki, started punching Josh's face.
Josh tried to dodge first. However, the admiral was strong and could predict where Josh was going. Josh took the punch on his face, and he must admit, it made his brain shake.
'Think. Think!'
Taking punch after a punch, Josh persisted while thinking of a creative way to flip the situation.
Although he can use Judo to get out of this stance, things won't be over.
But something else he can do… as they are standing on this boat in the middle of the sea.
Josh started kicking with his legs toward Akainu. "You marines, all you know is talking about Justice. You are all the same, all talk, but nothing except bullying." Josh said.
"You have no right to give criticism to justice." Akainu choked Josh with more strength.
"Fuck your Justice!" Josh said. "I was an innocent man. Just because I took a Warlord down, whom you were protecting and allowed…" Josh resisted with more strength as he pushed Akainu's hands. "Allowed to kill innocents and plan to destroy a country. I've done nothing but stopping him. But to cover your mistake, you call me a filthy pirate."
With each word, Josh seemed to be more pissed off. The wrath attribute made his demonic energy react to his anger.
"I'm not even rising a fucking pirate flag." Josh seemed to be breathing easily.
Akainu was thinking about something to say as Josh kept kicking aimlessly.
"You are all making up excuses. Bluffing at your end. " Akainu sneered.
"You are right about one thing," Josh said, a smirk appearing on his demon face as he starred at Akainu's face. "I was bluffing."
Josh pointed with his head toward the boat.
Akainu opened his eyes widely. Josh had tricked him.
Josh had seemed to be kicking Akainu desperately. But he was cutting the boat with Storm Legs.
"The hell…" Akainu's legs spread open as cuts appeared on the boat, splitting it into wooden platforms. "You want to sink us both!"
Akainu was caught by surprise and now was standing on two pieces of wood that floated on the water.
Once one of them fall, it would be the end.
Josh seemed to be more relaxed. " No matter how much stronger you can get, your weight can't get any heavier."
Even if an ant is stronger than you a thousand times, you still can throw it away easily.
Putting his leg on Akainu's chest, Josh pulled that arm toward himself.
Flipping, Josh put his other leg on Akainu's face and lifted his 400 kilogrammes body. Josh, in the air, threw Akainu with his legs. Josh then used Moonwalk before he sinks into the water.
Flipping in the air, Akainu reached the seastone knife in his chest and throw it away.
The magma wrapped the wound and burned it. Although there is internal damage, some med can deal with it.
Glaring at Josh with angry eyes, Akainu extended his hands forward.
"Die you a little piece of ****!"
Akainu just unleashed the biggest magma wave as his arms morphed. The wave became colossal and it covered the sunlight from Josh.
Josh, who just flipping and landed on a small piece of wood, staring up.
He was facing, literally, the largest Tsunami of Magma.
The heat alone made him feel like he was melting. Like
his time in Alabasta.
Kicking in the air and turning, Josh started running.
Although he was very fast, the wave was so large that it seemed to be about to swallow him.
Josh took a deep breath and held it. He extended his hands forward and jumped to the sea, before using Moonwalk to push himself lower.
*Bomb*
Because of the heat and the amount of magma, the sea seemed to explode with the steam, as high pressure was unleashed.
Josh was only heading down while staring up.
The magma was cooling in the water, turning into a black rock.
Obsidian, Josh thought of the name of the forming matter.
While holding his breathes, Josh remembered reading an article on earth.
An obsidian blade is so sharp compared to a steel blade. Since obsidian will fracture down to a single atom, it is claimed to have a cutting edge 500 times sharper than the sharpest steel blade.
Josh scratched it with his claws, and it was so hard. Looking around, Josh started collecting some rocks of obsidian.
Although crafting something from it is tempting, Josh had to hold his breath and move sneakingly under Akainu's nose.
The latter should be pissed off, so Josh can sneak away from it.
While staying down, Josh felt something missed.
His dear Epic Rank sword.
But still.
Josh felt the sacrifice worth it.
By this time, the girls had gotten away from Akainu, who won't be able to chase after them since they got away from his sight.
He felt sorry for Kalifa. Her awakened lust would torture her to find Josh for a release.
She has to wait and live the torture again.
-x-X-x-
Meanwhile, standing on the top of the small obsidian island, which is still cooling, Akainu was clenching his teeth in anger.
A filthy little scum, which was way weak, had tricked him.
The scum had caused him some burns, and he even injured his inside.
Akainu would need some time to recover from the internal damage that the knife has caused.
Although Josh is dead now and Akainu is standing fine, what hurt Akainu was his pride.
"Although you are outsmarted me, you still threw yourself to the sea in order not to die." Akainu felt more hurt to be tricked by a stupid person. "Well, you are dead either way."
Akainu looked around.
There was Josh's sword. Akainu examined it slowly. The blade is so good that Akainu's magma didn't melt it.
"A good sword like this should be more than supreme grade… I'll keep it."
(A/N: There is a pic of Akainu in his young days, he was a swordsman with a sword on his back…)
Akainu held the blade.
During his young days in the marine, Akainu was a swordsman.
Ever since he had gotten his magma fruit, he stopped doing swordsmanship, because the blade would be melted and it won't be used.
"Nice toy."
Akainu waved the sword in his hand, sending a small red blade arc.
The sword, along with his hand started morphing, before reshaping again.
Heating the blade until it turned red, he frowned. Akainu waved it, sending a sharp arc covered by magma in the sea. Wherever the arc passed, the water would vaporise from the heat.
"It's a shame that it doesn't have a sheath."
Akainu, although he had been injured, felt that he likes this sword. His feet turning into lava, Akainu started walking on the sea after taking a special compass out of his pocket, making his way to the nearest island.
Meanwhile, Josh, who had swum far distance from Akainu, got out of the water, breathing heavily.
"Finally…" Josh lied on the water with his back. After his breaths became calm, he looked around.
He has no compass, and there were no islands around.
Josh's eyelids shook.
He is lost!
Taking things calmly, Josh lied on the water. The battle against the strongest admiral had been intense. Josh needed a small break. He can always check the thousands of Common and Average rank items in his storage and see what to do with them here.
Closing his eyes, he muttered. "What a crazy bastard am I."
