The next day.

The sun slanted through the French window, bright and warm.

The woman in bed was fluttering her long attractive eyelashes as if a butterfly was flapping its wings, within minutes, she slowly

opened her eyes...

Tina felt everything was a complete blank, frowning in confusion to see the strange room.

Where was she? It was not her room...

The next minute what happened yesterday flashed through her mind, suffusing her face with color.

She remembered that she was still in Samuel’s room!

She was to get up and leave, only to find that the man was still holding her tight around her waist. She couldn’t move at all.

To her surprise, Samuel hadn’t left and even kept embracing her tightly.

This stopped Tina from trying to move. Her cheeks-accompanied by the man’s regular breathing and warm body pressing against hers-started to flame.

She had expected to see an empty room after waking up, but...

My goodness!

What the hell was going on? It must be getting late. Samuel was a busy man, wasn’t he?

Why was he still here?!

As Tina was filling her head with jumbled thoughts, the man suddenly spoke in a husky voice.

“Tina, why do you keep moving?! ”

It startled the woman to find the man awake, and she replied quickly, “What? I’m not moving!”

The man, however, gave a deep laugh and said with a sense of danger in his voice, “It sounds like you are still full of pep. I guess you aren’t tired enough?”

“Boom-!!!”

These words exploded in Tina’s head like bombs.

The memory of last night turned her warmed cheeks even more crimson!

“I...I...”

No matter how smart she was on other occasions, Tina failed to have the foggiest idea to defend herself from the embarrassment with a foggy head at the moment.

“Shouldn’t you go to work? Hands off!” She ended up struggling to utter these words upon lengthy reflections.

But she didn’t realize that her voice was soft and somewhat husky, despite her efforts to make herself sound calm.

Seeing she struggled to hide her ears, which were as red as a beet... the man was almost tempted to bite her hard on them.

Samuel squinted his eyes in discontent and spoke, “You’re thinking about going to work? It seems I need to do more. It’s early.

We still have time...”

Just then, a thump on the door sounded from outside to interrupt the flirting.

Tina hastened to say, “Someone’s at the door.”

In the meantime, she tried to push away the man, but she failed.

Samuel remained pressing her in his arms and said coolly, “ Whoever’s outside is none of your business. Tina, you’d better stay

here without trying anything funny! ”

He had a clear idea of what Tina was thinking about. She would seize every chance to sneak away from him.

She was dreaming. He wouldn’t let that happen!

Samuel made up his mind not to answer the knock, which was doomed to failure as a young and sweet voice outside the room

came in.

“Daddy! Daddy! It’s me-Kara. I have something to ask you!”
