Chapter 325: The Skeletal Dragon’s Incarnation, This Is A Pigsty
The scale of mid-end existential planes was a million times that of low-end material planes. Not only did they have more vast territories and a higher number of living beings there, but it went without saying that the Power of Existential Plane that they boasted was also more fearsome.
“The master of mid-end existential planes does not need to fear any existence while they are in their own existential planes. Even a Chief God wouldn’t be able to do anything about the master of the existential plane even if they were to descend!”
Dodola said with an emotional sigh, “Therefore, the masters of mid-end existential planes are also known as the Chief Gods of Existential Planes—meaning that among mid-end existential planes, the masters of the existential planes are Chief God-like presences.”
“Chief Gods of Existential Planes!”
A huge jolt went through Meng Lei. He exclaimed, “For people to confer the title of ‘Chief God’ upon them, I can already imagine just how revered and powerful the masters of mid-end existential planes are!”
“Exactly. Although Chief Gods are hailed as the gods among gods and seen as supreme beings, there are also existences that do not fear Chief Gods, and they are—the masters of mid-end existential planes!”
Dodola sighed and said, “By occupying mid-end existential planes, those guys are absolute overlords among the gods. Nobody can do anything about them.”
Meng Lei licked his lips and commented, “After hearing what you’ve said, even I would like to occupy a mid-end existential plane and become a master of a mid-end existential plane myself.”
“It’s normal to become tempted by the idea. Becoming the master of a mid-end existential plane is the dream of all deities. This is also another reason why mid-end existential planes and their seeds are so expensive,” replied Dodola with a sigh.
“Dodola, I’ve become somewhat hesitant now.”
Meng Lei gazed at the bottomless Demon Ravine and said, “In the event that Dark Hell Continent already has a master, wouldn’t I be putting myself in peril?”
“That’s exactly what I’m worried about.” Dodola warned, “So, you’d better not take risks so easily. Investigate thoroughly before you make your next move.”
Meng Lei nodded slightly. “In that case, I’ll use a divinity projection to do some scouting first. What a shame that I don’t even have a single divine incarnation!”
“Didn’t you just obtain an Abyss Skeletal Dragon carcass? You can turn that into your demonic incarnation!” suggested Dodola.
“Why did I let that slip my mind!”
Meng Lei smacked his forehead as he let out an exclamation. The Abyss Skeletal Dragon’s body was extremely tough. Aside from its skull that Meng Lei had smashed into bits, every other part of it was still well and intact. He could totally turn it into a demonic incarnation without any problem.
Without further ado, Meng Lei brought out the Abyss Skeletal Dragon carcass and began to work on it.
Creating an alternate incarnation was actually not much different from refining divine weapons. He needed to imprint his divine spirit mark on the target object in both cases and turn it into something that he could control at will and command like a third arm.
Therefore, it wasn’t a difficult task.
The only frustrating thing was that the Abyss Skeletal Dragon’s skull had been broken, so there was no longer a place to hold one’s divine spirit flame. This created quite a fair bit of trouble for Meng Lei.
Fortunately, he had an abundance of dried-up dead bodies, remains, and bones in storage. After a series of selecting, mending, and fixing, he finally managed to replace it with an imitation skull.
One could barely discern any flaws from just its outer appearance. However, in truth, the actual Abyss Skeletal Dragon’s skull was far beyond what the skull he’d constructed could compare with.
It was also the one and only opening that enemies could take advantage of in the Abyss Skeletal Dragon alternate incarnation.
“It’s finally done!”
Meng Lei heaved a sigh of relief. Then, he gritted his teeth and bore with the severe pain, split part of his divine spirit flame, and placed it inside the Abyss Skeletal Dragon’s skull.
After that, he tried to control the Abyss Skeletal Dragon.
Krak, krak, krak...
The Abyss Skeletal Dragon slowly began to move.
It shook its head, swung its tail, raised its claw, took a step...
After testing it out for a while, Meng Lei gradually familiarized himself with the Abyss Skeletal Dragon alternate incarnation and became smoother and smoother at controlling it. Toward the end, he finally managed to control it perfectly.
“All done! I can set out now!”
Under Meng Lei’s control, the Abyss Skeletal Dragon alternate incarnation turned into human form. Dodola and Ol’ Amos also each created a divinity projection. Then, under Bailey Yale’s lead, they entered the space-time rift.
Howl!
The moment they entered, they immediately encountered violent, raging space-time fluxes. Ol’ Amos’ divinity projection lasted only a few seconds before the havoc-wreaking space-time fluxes smashed it into smithereens.
“Ol’ President!” Meng Lei shouted.
“The space-time fluxes here are too strong. He can’t endure them at all!” Dodola shouted, “Let’s go! Speed up and charge all the way out!”
“Okay!”
A few seconds later, the trio finally passed through the space-time rift and arrived at a whole new world.
It wasn’t dim and dark like what they had imagined. Nor was there the bloody scene that they had imagined. Dark Hell Continent, an existential plane that demons had completely occupied, was actually a world brimming with life and vitality that didn’t differ much from Heaven’s Vault Continent!
Or at least, that was what it seemed like from the surface.
“The magic elements here are almost 100 times richer than that of Heaven’s Vault Continent. The laws of nature here can also be detected much more clearly!
“And the gravity, and the dimension’s stability level, too. There’s no comparison between the two at all!”
Meng Lei threw a punch, causing a small hole to be smashed into the dimension. Had he done this in Heaven’s Vault Continent instead, the same amount of force would have smashed a large part of the dimension into bits and pieces instead.
“That’s what a mid-end existential plane is like. Low-end existential planes can’t compare to them at all.”
Dodola had a look of nostalgia on its face as it said, “It’s just a shame that a bunch of demons has actually occupied a mid-end existential plane like this. What a waste of heaven’s gifts!”
“You don’t say!”
Meng Lei agreed wholeheartedly. Then, he turned to Bailey, the Ancient Demon Pig, and asked, “Where are we?”
“This is the Forest of Darkness, Master. It’s within my territory, the Pighead Ridge,” replied Bailey respectfully.
“Let’s go! We’ll take a look around your den first,” said Meng Lei after some thought.
“Yes, Master!”
The trio rose into the air and flew toward Bailey’s den under his lead.
Meng Lei observed the fascinating new world as he flew. As the magic elements there were extremely rich, the forest’s vegetation grew exceptionally lushly and luxuriantly.
Apart from that, an astonishing number of Magical Beasts also lived there. If not for the occasional demon tribes here and there, one could practically see no difference between the Forest of Darkness and Heaven’s Vault Continent’s Magical Beast Forest.
Meng Lei’s divine cognition had already spread into the surroundings a long time ago and was ransacking the demon tribes’ gold coins, Laws of Nature Origin Crystals, Divinity Crystals, treasures, divine weapons...
Meng Lei pilfered from the demon tribes the whole way and made a huge killing. The tribes were poor in general, but as the idiom went, “Many little drops make an ocean”. They added up to an extremely astonishing amount.
As for how much they concretely added up to, Meng Lei had no idea, either. This was just his alternate incarnation, so the system hadn’t followed him over.
He collected riches the whole way as they flew.
Two days later, Meng Lei finally arrived at Bailey’s den.
“So, this is your den?”
The trio arrived in front of a gigantic sinkhole. The sinkhole was astonishingly wide in diameter and measured as wide as 10,000 kilometers. At the bottom of the sinkhole was a vast primeval forest, and living within it was an astonishing number of... Pigs!
A 100,000-feet-deep sinkhole!
With pigs within the sinkhole!
Wasn’t this a freaking naturally-formed pigsty?
“Yes, Master, this is my den, the Demon Pig Sinkhole!”
Bailey said respectfully, “The Yale family has lived here for generations. All these piglets are my children.”
“Alright!”
Meng Lei nodded and instructed, “Let’s go down and take a look!”
“Father is back!”
“Wah! Father!”
Bailey’s return caused a rather significant furor. Innumerable little piglets converged from all directions and passionately welcomed him home.
Bailey then casually brought out piles and piles of good stuff and distributed them to the piglets in the sinkhole.
