Chapter 86
Chapter 86
“But how!? How did we become lovers!? I don’t even remember you!!”
Han sighed as he began walking towards the final [Unchanged]. The woman had just been standing in place all this while! She was too terrified to move and Han was growing tired of waiting. Once he got to her he simply smacked her over the head and she dropped to the ground like a puppet with its string cut. She didn’t attack him stupidly so he would try to leave her alive, that shouldn’t have killed her right?
[You have killed eleven [Unchanged]…]
The fuck…!? Han sighed. Whatever, let’s just get this over with.
The numbers rolled in.
[You have levelled up 2 times]
[You have levelled up 5 times]
[You have gained +20 free points]
[You have gained +10 strength]

[You have gained the active skill [Clairvoyance]]
[[Clairvoyance] – You can see the world through your familiars and pets. Current maximum distance for clairvoyance is 2 miles. Distance will increase with level]
Name – Han Luo
Level – 29
Strength – 85
Stamina – 55
Agility – 54
Intelligence – 61
Free Points – 67
Skills – [Critical Hit – 79] [Crowd Control – 66] [Critical thinking – 60] [Blood Lust – 65] [Eyes of Horos – 40] [Photographic Memory – 50] [Berserker – 1] [Mental Defence – 5] [Danger Sense – 15] [Hypnotic Aura – Max] [Mutation – 2] [Burst – 5] [Body of Steel – 25] [Clairvoyance – 5 (2 familiars)] [Reflexes – ×5]
Okay, wow… That was a lot.
Han totally forgot about the skills he got whenever he passed a certain threshold in his abilities. Since he already made them all go past fifty, then what would Han get if he made them go past a hundred?
Hmm… Curiouser and curiouser
Han was not going to be disturbed for a while since only lesser [Unchanged] were left within the walls. And those ones were too busy trying to survive the zombies to have any time to fight him. Han opened his skill tab and began to assign skills!
“Okay, first this goes here. And I think I’ll need some more of this in the future so let’s also use that. I want to see what happens when I get past a hundred here, so I’ll make strength go way up. And then that should do it…”
[You have used up 60 free points. You have added +20 free points to Strength. You have added +15 free points to stamina. You have added +15 free points to Agility. You have added + 10 free points to Intelligence]
[You have leveled up 3 times]
[You have surpassed the one hundred point threshold in strength. Host has gained 1 perk.]
[Perks can be used to spin the wheel of fate and assign the host any reward received. Would host like to spin the wheel?]
Huh? A wheel of fate? Like one of those bad TV shows? This is new. Well if he is going to spin it, then he needed to at least know what he was getting himself into.
“What are the wheel options?”
[Wheel of Fate]
[+25 Free points]
[+50 percent gain in intelligence]
[Golden Chest – Contains one rare skill and $1 million. 10% chance of containing one ultimate skill]
[Silver Chest – Contains one active skill and $500,000. 10% chance of containing a rare skill]
[Bronze Chest – Contains one passive skill and $100,000. 10% chance of containing an active skill]
Han was salivating at the mouth with what he was seeing!! An ultimate skill!? What the hell was an ultimate skill!? And all the other things except the first two were also awesome. This system was the best!
But it was still all up to only luck. He could spin this now and only get 25 Free points. And even though it would be great to get even stronger, Han was far more interested in the chests! He wanted to see what sort of ultimate skill he could get!
Name – Han Luo
Level – 31
Strength – 105
Stamina – 70
Agility – 69
Intelligence – 71
Free Points – 7
Skills – [Critical Hit – 79] [Crowd Control – 66] [Critical thinking – 60] [Blood Lust – 65] [Eyes of Horos – 40] [Photographic Memory – 50] [Berserker – 1] [Mental Defence – 5] [Danger Sense – 15] [Hypnotic Aura – Max] [Mutation – 2] [Burst – 5] [Body of Steel – 25] [Clairvoyance – 5 (2 familiars)] [Reflexes – ×5]
Han put his hand to his chin and hummed. He needed to choose wisely here. If he spun now and missed the option he wanted then he wouldn’t like that very much. But wouldn’t he just get another perk if he managed to take another skill to a hundred?
Alright, Han was going to spin it now. The chances of getting his desired option was only 25%, but if he managed to get the 25 Free points, then he would be able to take one other skill straight to a hundred. Then another round would mean another chance.
Han was sure he could get at least one of those two!
[You have used one perk to spin. Spin complete! Host has won.. [Bronze Chest]]
“….”
[….]
A deep silence ran across the clearing and Han felt his eye twitch before he exclaimed.
“Fuck!!!”
Rin Woo jolted on his shoulder and he glared at her as she began to swing her legs again.
“Stay in one place dammit!!”
Smack!!
“Eeepp!!!”
Han was pissed! What a waste of a perk! What was he doing with a hundred thousand dollars!? He was a freaking billionaire for crying out loud!!
[[Bronze Chest] has been opened. You have gained the passive skill [Devil’s Luck]. You have gained $100,000]
[[Devil’s Luck] – Unparalleled fortune follows you, for a price of course. 50% chance of gaining the highest fortune in any situation. 40% chance of gaining normally from a situation. 10% chance of losing horribly in a situation. Numbers change according to the level!]
Han tilted his head to one side while trying to understand what the fuck he just read. Did this fucking system just catfish him?
He didn’t want this skill anymore!! Take it back! Take it back right now!!
Han put his hand on his face and sighed loudly and Rin Woo looked back at him in surprise. Was he depressed all of a sudden?
Han shook his head and decided he wouldn’t let this get to him. This stupid system was just playing with him! All he had to do was get his other stats to a hundred points and he would get at least three more chances to gain that ultimate skill!
He nodded his acceptance to himself before he finally turned back to the city. Well, it was once a city. Now it was just a huge mess. Broken houses, burnt churches. Even the large citadel that he was at before was now just a bright, burning bonfire!
Han didn’t know who broke the large walls down, but he couldn’t help but feel a little grateful! A place like this didn’t deserve to exist no matter what!. It didn’t even matter if it was just one of hundreds of millions of different timelines. This particular one was trash!
“Uhm..? H-Han… Can you please drop me? I’m starting to feel dizzy – Please don’t hit me again!!”
Han rolled his eyes. Maybe she already suffered enough. It wasn’t like she could hurt him now even if she tried. He could probably kill her by just breathing on her the wrong way!
He dropped her to the ground and Rin tried to find her footing. Her hands went to her behind and she winched as she felt sore skin there. This man was such a brute! How could she have ever been his lover before!? Was this how he treated people he loves!!?
Han tsked. His time was running out.
[Departure time – 01:50:02]
The sun was already setting in the sky and night would be upon them soon. He didn’t have to worry about any of that, but he needed to talk to Rin Woo.
“Rin -”
“Ah!”
Rin Woo jumped in fright once Han said her name and Han rose a stupified brow. He didn’t hit her that hard, did he? She shouldn’t be this afraid of him!
I won’t hit you anymore. Come on, don’t be so afraid of me. I’m harmless.
Says the serial killer that just decimated hundreds of people in cold blood.
Okay…. Maybe she had some right to be afraid.
