"Trapping is basically used to stop the Pokemon's fierce momentum. If Pokemons started to run towards us to attack together, it may affect the morale of our troops which would lead to high casualties. It would also give them less time to prepare for battle. However, if we use traps then we can overcome such things and have a good mentality throughout the fight."

"What kind of traps are we talking about?", asked Dortron. He was interested in this topic.

"We can dig holes and place spikes below so that they can be killed or injured seriously after they fell down.

We can also use some leg-holding traps with sharp teeth to injure them. Using leg-holding traps would restrain them to the area and it would be easier to kill them.

Snare traps could be used in the forest so that Pokemons could get hooked up by their neck and die."

The use of traps made everyone nervous. These traps looked very effective especially if they are facing a big horde of Pokemons. This would disrupt the momentum of the tide.

The aftermath of the traps seemed very cruel. However, if that could save their lives then they were ready to do it.

"However, everyone must know where the traps are. I don't want my troop's Pokemons to be affected by it. I would teach you all about these traps and how to make them. We can put a sign so that our soldiers would know that there are traps there.

This covers the traps for land Pokemons.", said Axel.

The group started to have a bit more confidence about this tide. If they could see such a strategy, it would save a lot of lives in the tide. They may even survive the tide. It was regrettable but the survival rate of the tide was only 30%. Now, they felt lucky that they had such a zone commander. If they were part of other zones, they may have to fight the old-fashioned way.

"Sir, have you thought about flying Pokemons and underground Pokemons? More than 90% of the Pokemon would be land Pokemons but it would not hurt to plan about the other 2.", said Mary.

"We could use trenches and put spikes on them for the underground Pokemons. We could also focus on the moves like 'Magnitude' and 'Earthquake' for the underground Pokemon who use 'Dig'. It would be the most effective way.

We should also barricade our walls with spikes to stop the momentum of the Pokemons. That would also help us a lot.

However, regarding flying-type Pokemons, I only have 1 way and it is very rare. I don't think we could implement it as of right now.", said Axel.

"What kind of way, sir?"

"Have you heard of the move 'Gravity'?"

All of them shook their heads. That was given. 'Gravity' was a rare move after all. Not everyone could use it.

"It is the move that I used to you guys before. The move could change the gravity around the Pokemons. It could increase or decrease the gravity which would help us in the flying type Pokemon. If the gravity around them is changed their flight would be unbalanced which would give us a huge advantage. But it is not very effective."

"Why sir? Can't we just let our Pokemons learn the move?"

"First of all, not a lot of Pokemon could learn it. Clefairy, Dusclops, Alakazam, Magnemite, and Exeggutor are some the Pokemon that can learn it. Second, it is a psychic type move so it is hard to learn in 10 days. Just ask around if anyone of our troops knows of this move."

"Now, I will teach you about the design of the traps. We must complete those traps within 6 days. I want extra 4 days for the soldiers to rest, and get acquainted with their new members as there would be a huge change in the teams.

And also call all of our troops at 3 p.m. I would be meeting them."

They then started to discuss. Dory started her task to assemble all the things about the details of Pokemons that they would be facing based on the area.

###

At 3 p.m,

Axel could see a huge crowd. There didn't seem to be any limit to the people gathered here. The staggering number of 30,000 armed troops was a sight to behold.

"Hey, what is happening? Why are we all gathered here?"

"I think the zone commander is going to give us a speech before the tide. I am excited about this."

"Really? I don't know who our commander is. I bet he/she is a powerful trainer."

"Of course, one cannot become a zone commander if he is not powerful."

They could see the 3 lieutenants in the stadium and a small kid. The kid looked to be in late teenage. Axel was only 14 yrs old but he had trained his body to the limit. He had good body structure so he looked more aged than he actually was.

"Umm... testing.. Testing.. It seems okay.

Alright, all of you must be wondering who I really am. I will answer your curiosity. I am the new zone commander of the north base for this tide. I have been selected by the league to direct and lead you all."

Instantly, the crowd got loud. Some of them talked in a hushed voice. Some of them openly started to question the decision of the league.

"Marcus, do it!!", said Axel, and immediately everyone felt something different. They felt hard to even stand on their legs. Since it was a crowd of 30k armed troops, Shedinja had used its full power. The crowd near the stadium felt the full brunt of the attack and directly kneeled down.

"So, where was I? Ahh yes, ...
