Chapter 460: My Soldiers Rage!!!

Chapter 460: My Soldiers Rage!!!

"VENOM CURSE!!!"

Axel didn't know what would happen but the second it called out that move, its body exploded into tiny dark particles and in those minutes dark particles started to spread out wide to the whole north battle zone.

Everyone was consumed by those dark particles. The surroundings had gone completely dark. Nobody could see anything. It was that dark.

The darkness took its time to dissipate. It took around 30 minutes for Axel to see clearly.

Ding!

....

Ding!

....

...

....

...

Multiple notifications were coming in Axel's view but Axel ignored all of that. Axel felt extremely weak as if his body had aged for at least 10 years. He looked at himself in the puddle of water and he still looked young but why was he feeling so weak?

He looked around and found out that Agatha had fainted. He could tell that she was still breathing but she had fainted for some unknown reason. A lot of soldiers had fainted. None of them had died and there were no more deaths.

The crazy thing was that the nurses who were healing the Pokemons had also fainted. The Pokemons that were getting healed had also fainted. Axel could not say what had happened.

He looked towards Dragon and ran towards him.

"Dragon can you tell what is happening right now?"

Dragon was looking at Lance who had also fainted. He was also examining.

"I can tell that it is not something serious. I believe that they would recover after taking weeks of rest. That is the only thing I can tell from their aura presence."

Axel took a long breath to calm himself. He didn't know why Gengar had done such a thing. The tide was basically over and there were no wild Pokemons.

"Dragon, can you tell the soldiers to do a head count? How many of them had not fainted? I want to know their numbers."

"Why?"

"For some reason, I still feel that this is not over.", said Axel.

Dragon didn't say anything and started to do the job that he was assigned.

Axel knew that those 2 Gengars were not stupid. If their spell could only make them weaker for an extended period of time then why would they use that move?

Axel started to look around. He was looking at the catastrophe that those 2 Gengars had done. Agatha was out of the picture. She was not dead but she was not in a good condition. None of the brigadier generals were awake to assist Axel except for Dragon.

Dragon was someone who had harshly trained his body to a limit. Even though he had multiple injuries, he looked okay and ready to battle. However, all of his Pokemons were seriously injured now.

The tide looked like it was basically over but for some unknown reason, Axel felt that something was about to happen. Something big. Something dangerous.

He started to help the nurses who were healing and taking the soldiers and the injured Pokemons to the hospital.

He could see that the previous injuries of the soldiers had heightened. The same was for the Pokemons.

Axel didn't know what kind of black magic those 2 Gengars had done but for some reason, none of their condition had worsened. But it was also not better. He was confused as to what had happened.

He went towards one of the nurses and asked, "Can you tell me what has happened to them?"

"I can't tell after getting them checked fully but I can tell that none of their condition had worsened. It feels like their wounds would take extra time to heal. I try to apply some medicines to one of the soldiers but it is taking time to heal.

Their stamina had also gone down rapidly. This is quite interesting. However, I can assure you that they are going to be okay."

Axel felt relieved after he heard the nurse's conclusion. Dragon was still doing a head count. The battle was in disarray and it was taking some time to finish the job.

He was okay with it.

It had been 20 minutes but that feeling had still not gone. Axel just could not explain why he was feeling like that. Nobody was feeling what he was feeling.

However, his instinct and hunches had been hardly wrong in the past. So, he decided to trust his instinct once again.

He only had Nidoking and Venusaur who were able to fight. All of these Pokemons were seriously injured. Pidgeot had still not woken up and it looked like it would only open its eyes after Oak came with his Alakazam.

###

Suddenly,

ROOOOARRRR

"My hunch is right again.", said Axel as he watched the ground tremble. Within 20 seconds Axel could see a group of Pokemon coming towards them. The group was not high in number but this might be the end for Axel and his team.

"Dragon, I am waiting for the numbers."

"There are 1034 soldiers who are still able to fight counting you and me. You can count me out as I don't have any Pokemon that could fight. So, 1033 soldiers."

"Meg, Venusaur, come out."

ROOOARRR

Both of them gave their roars after coming out. They were also injured and tired but they were still able to fight.

"Scout, how many Pokemons are we facing?", asked Axel.

"Sir, we are facing 2 king rank Pokemons and 2000 pseudo-king rank Pokemons.

Sir, there is a problem. One of the king-rank Pokemons is tier 2."

The soldier's voice could say it all. He knew that Axel only had Nidoking that could fight and Nidoking was a tier 1 Pokemon. No matter how powerful it was, it could not fight 2 king-rank Pokemons when one of them was tier 2.

"We finally meet Axel"

The voice came from one of the king-rank Pokemons. It was a tier 1 king-rank Pokemon. Axel immediately knew who that Pokemons was.

It was Arbok. The same pseudo-king rank Arbok he had fought in the previous tide battle. It had recently ranked up to king rank and coincidentally it was present today.

"Meg, Venusaur, you will be dealing with both of the king-rank Pokemons. I can't say that we can win this or even get out alive. However, I don't want to give up.

Will you both help me?", asked Axel.

ROOOARRR

ROOOARRRR

Both of them agreed. They felt angry because Axel didn't have to ask that question. They were partners for life and death. They would happily die for their trainer.

Axel then turned to the soldiers to give his final speech. For some reason, he was not feeling scared. He was very calm. He had already accepted his fate. He knew that they could not get out of this alive. The central zone would take a long time to send help and the wild Pokemons were already on their doorstep.

Nidoking and Venusaur went to battle both of the king-rank Pokemons.

Pokemon POV Start

"It feels bad to kill my own student but you chose the wrong side. I would give you another chance. If you can kill your master in front of me, I will spare you and your green friend here.", said Arbok with a smile.

Arbok was the one who had taught 'Poison spread' and 'Poison damage transfer' to Nidoking. Due to its heightened senses, it could tell that this was the same Pokemon. It was now mocking Nidoking and Axel.

It had been left alive and used by Axel. It would never forget that humiliation. It wanted to pay it back with interest and today it had that chance. It specially joined the tide to get its revenge.

"Hahahaha, You really think that I would betray my own trainer to live another day? You are really stupid. And what gave you the confidence that you are going to win today?

We have not battled yet.", said Nidoking.

Venusaur had also activated its 'Grassy terrain', 'Sunny day' and other status moves to get ready to fight.

"Let's see if you can win against me and my friend over here."

The other king-rank Pokemon was Gyarados. It was a tier 2 king-rank Pokemon and it was going to be a doom for Axel and his team.

Pokemon POV end.

###

Nidoking would have won against Arbok as it had leveled up its 'Poison domain' to level 40 which greatly enhanced its poison powers. It also had some resistance to poison due to the domain. Arbok was weak to ground type which was an additional bonus for Nidoking.

However, Gyarados was bad news. Axel knew that only a miracle would save them from this situation. He turned towards the soldier to give his final speech.

"This is the final battle for the tide. Call out all of your able Pokemons. All of us are going to actively participate in this battle and help our Pokemon to defeat these pseudo-king rank Pokemons."

One of the soldiers spoke up shivering all over his body, "Be honest, are all of us, running to our deaths?"

"Yes, we are.", said Axel. There was no need to lie in this situation.

"So, since we are dying anyway, you are saying that it is better if we at least die fighting?"

"I am", said Axel with a calm voice.

"But if we are dying anyway, who cares what we do? We can just disobey your orders. It would mean a thing right?"

"Yes, you are precisely right.

Everything that you thought had meaning.

Every hope, dream, and moment of happiness.

None of it matters as you lie bleeding out on the battlefield.

None of it changes what a flamethrower does to a body.

We all die.

But does that mean that our lives are meaningless?

Does that mean that there is no point in us being born?

Would you say the same for our slaying comrades?

What about their lives?

Were there meaning less?"

He took a deep breath and raised his voice,

"THEY WERE NOT!

TheIR Memory Serves as an example to us all.

The courageous fallen!

The anguished fallen!

Their lives have meaning because we the living refuse to forget them.

And as we ride to our certain deaths, we trust our successors to do the same for us.

Because my soldiers do not buckle or yield when faced with the cruelty of this world.

MY SOLDIERS PUSH FORWARD!

MY SOLDIERS SCREAM OUT!!

MY SOLDIERS RAGEEEEE!!!!!!!

"RAGEEEEEE!!!"

"RAGGEEEEE!!!"

"RAGEEEEE!!!!"

All of the soldiers started to scream out loud. Their faces that were filled with fear were replaced by determination. Axel had truly changed the hearts of all the soldiers.

All of them started to run towards those wild Pokemons like hungry animals. Their Pokemons were also running with them. They knew that this was the final stance and they wanted their names to be remembered in the history.

They didn't want to cower in shame but die a warrior's death. Even the wild Pokemons were shocked and scared after seeing these charging soldiers. Axel was the first to clash with a Pokemon. He wanted to give his all in this first punch. He used his new move 'Aura strike' to coat his fist with a blazing aura and was ready to smack a Golduck when....

BANG!!!

It felt like something came from above and dropped on the ground. The ground was decimated. Dust and smoke flew everywhere and no one could see anything. The mighty army of 1034 soldiers and stopped erupting to see what was happening.

Axel could see something after the dust was settled. It was not human but a Pokemon. It was facing back and looking towards the wild Pokemons. The Pokemon was red and it had wings. A fire could be seen burning brightly at the end of its tail. Most of its body was covered in dragon scales and it had a long neck.

The Pokemon turned its head slightly back to see Axel and said,

"Looks like you are having a bad day Father. Don't worry. I will handle this."

The Pokemon was Charizard and it had arrived!!!
