Chapter 140: Third bionic element
Chapter 140: Third bionic element
"We followed the dried blood signs and broken trees, but all of them stopped here since it is a plain land," Unami said while galloping her horse focusing on the distant horizon.
Garnt kept looking at the giant mountains and knew it would be a tough journey to reach them. Also, after witnessing the existence of dinosaurs, he was rather careful with exploring since he didn't know what kind of animals were living on this land that he had no idea about.
"Huta is also not fully recovered yet, so let's go back for now. We have so many things to do that we don't really have time to explore the forest right now," Garnt said, and they finished their search party before it could even fully start, but the doubt about the situation still remained.
The time went on like that for a few months without any sign of attack from either dinosaurs or Moga, but Garnt still had one major problem in his village. The muscular woman, who was chained near the prison area of the village—a heavily secured area—remained a significant concern.
Under Eva's instructions, Garnt had already started her treatments to allow her to control her body better than before, but that still didn't show any results because the real treatment Eva suggested needed a lot of medicine that Garnt had no idea how to find.
Garnt, with a determined look in his eyes, approached the woman as she strained against her restraints. Her wounds, once severe, showed signs of improvement, thanks to Garnt's efforts to treat her.
"You're getting better," Garnt observed, his gaze shifting from her healed wounds to her struggling form. "But we need to figure out how to help you control your body."
The woman shot him a fierce glare, her attempts to break free becoming more desperate. "Grrrrrrrrr," she growled.
Garnt sighed, undeterred by her hostility. "We can't keep you chained forever. If you want to be free, you'll have to learn to control yourself. Try to take control of your body."
Ignoring her attempts to bite him, Garnt carefully approached and reached out to touch her head. The woman recoiled at first, but as Garnt persisted, she reluctantly allowed him to examine her because she felt no matter how she struggled it was not possible for her to break the chains.
"Your body is different from ours, and these marks on your body, I assume they are from the drug you were injected with." Garnt mused, his fingers tracing the contours of her face. "Eva said there's a specific treatment, but I have no idea where to find the medicine she mentioned."
The woman's eyes flickered with a mix of defiance and curiosity.
Garnt met her gaze. "I know you're wondering why I won't kill you. The answer to that is we're all trying to survive in this harsh land. If we're going to coexist, we need to understand each other. A strong woman like you is welcome as long as you can help me, that's exactly why I want you by my side. Try to think about things you love and take control of your body. I believe that you can do it."
The muscular woman kept looking at him, but finally, she managed to squeeze some words out of her mouth after so many days, planting a seed of hope in Garnt's mind.
"Th...Ther....Thera!" Garnt didn't know what she was trying to say, but he was still happy.
"Yes, just like that. I'm waiting for you to recover so we can know each other. But for now, rest and try to think about how you could do that." Leaving those words with the woman, Garnt left and rejoined with his family, but he didn't forget one important thing that kept bugging him.
'I need to go and visit Baktou and see who this woman is. If she really escaped from Moga, maybe we will be able to find their hideout and attack first. But also the possibility of her being a slave of Moga is also there.'
He was thinking about all these things, but Eva's excited voice suddenly caused him to look confused because he didn't understand what could get Eva so excited.
[Garnt! Garnt! It's time. We got our third bionic element. This is such great news because that means we are making real progress.]
"What?" Garnt was feeling rather overwhelmed by this news that he heard out of nowhere, and the question still remained. What could be the third bionic element that he gets to use?
[Look!]

"This is..." Garnt was out of words to express what he was feeling right now. After all, what he got was the most effective and most dangerous thing he could imagine. Just the idea of using it on someone who won't be able to control the effect scared Garnt more than anything because right in front of him were the shreds of evidence of how bad it was.
[Ahhhhhh~]
Eva Eva who was initially excited knew this wasn't the great element she expected, but a powerful one at least.
[Garnt, I'm sorry. I didn't know it was this thing. If you don't want you don't have to use this.]
"..." He was thinking about all the possibilities, but after reading more about the manual Garnt started to understand more about the effect of this drug.
"I'll think about it, after all, we have so many things to learn about this. But for now, let's just not talk about it."

"Where did this woman go? I told her to return as soon as she found more information about the current technology of Garnt and his villages, but she went ahead and lived there," Amel shouted as he slammed his desk. "Is she going to betray me?"
[Do your thing. The more you delay your attack, Garnt will gain an advantage because he has the support of so many people unlike you, who have to force people to build new things. If Garnt managed to make gunpowder or something that could easily explode, even Moga wouldn't stand a chance.]
"Ugh~ what the hell is that? How does something like that even exist? Damn it! I thought I could at least trust that woman, but it looks like all women are snakes. I should have known after that Rona bitch. They all want that inferior dick of Garnt. What about my dick? What is so bad about me? Damn it!"
[...]
Amel's system wanted to say something, but it chose to remain silent, realizing it wasn't worth the effort. After all, she was only here for a short time until her goals were achieved, at which point she planned to let go of this loser.
While he was punching the air thinking about Garnt, suddenly a man came running into his hut with a piece of paper from Baktou's village. It was a paper build with the latest technology in Garnt's faction and it really frustrated Amel to see something so smooth and useful.
"What is this?" He questioned dissatisfied with the result, but he obviously understood that it must be a message from his advisor.
"While we were guarding, we managed to see this attached to our main gate-" The guards couldn't even finish the sentence, as Amel quickly took the paper from their hands.
"Carry out the attack. If you act now with Moga, you could easily take down both Baktou's village and Garnt's village. Prepare forces and come here,"
Those symbols were written on the piece of paper since Amel and his group hadn't really started to use the languages to read and write.
"Haha! I knew I could trust this woman unlike that bitch Rona. It's time. We are going to carry out our most awaited attack and kill all the men under Garnt and all the women will be ours to enjoy, especially that Rona bitch."
For the next few days, Amel gathered all the men in his army. Notably, there were no women among them, as they had either been abused and used as breeding outlets or were simply too traumatized by the demon called Moga.
Leading the army was Amel with a few of his personally trusted men, and behind him was Moga, who was being held by twenty people using ropes. They had an enormous amount of food and also took a few women so they could use them to avoid getting sexually frustrated during the battle period.
"This is going to be a long battle and I could feel it in my bones, but no matter how long it is, we are going to be victors of this battle and no one else will stand a chance."
