Primitive Man

Chapter 40: A cat fight

Chapter 40: A cat fight

In the training ground of the village, Garnt found himself surrounded by Aunt Ayra's loving family. There was Aunt Ayra herself, the matriarch of the household, with her youngest son, Kiriah, and her daughter, Kara, who happened to be two years younger than Garnt.

Aunt Ayra's voice was filled with gratitude as she spoke, her eyes glistening with emotion while wiping the sweat she made after all the training. "Garnt, we can't thank you enough for all you've done.

You've shown us the path to becoming more human, and without you, we might still be living like animals in those caves."

Garnt chuckled heartily at her words, his eyes twinkling with warmth. "Oh, Aunt, you give me too much credit. Don't worry so much. You also saved me several times."

But Aunt Ayra's heartfelt thanks were not to be brushed aside. She continued, "This is just the beginning of your dream, Garnt. We can see the potential for greatness in you. We know you're going to lead us to even greater heights as humans."

Those were some heavy words, as they included hope and trust of a woman.

With determination in his voice, Garnt smiled at them all. "You're right, Aunt Ayra. This is just the beginning. We're going to advance further, together, as humans and I will make sure that none of you're left out when the time comes, after all, you guys are my family."

Kara, Ayra's daughter, looked at Garnt with adoration in her eyes, her heart swelling with loyalty and pride. His words filled her with a sense of admiration that went beyond family ties. And deep within her heart, there was a hidden crush that she dared not reveal openly.

"Eva, what is our next blueprint? Show me the menu,"

[Well, now we are entering the real deal. Take a look]

Blueprints:

>Cement (2000)

>Iron weapon (2000)

>Bloomery (3000)

[These are some advanced stuff, you will need to put a lot more effort into achieving all this. Believe me when I say, this will change your whole lifestyle.]

"Buy all of them, I have so many points, that I have no idea how to spend them. This system should give me more things to buy like I only had one Bionic element until now." Garnt complained, looking at the five-digit number of points he had collected.

[It's not that easy to obtain a bionic element like the other things, even I have no idea what you will get or at least when you will get something. That's why you have to keep improving your abilities.]

While she was explaining things, Garnt was looking at the description of the weapons but then his eyes caught something rather interesting.

"Hmm~ this might help us, rather quickly," Garnt muttered, looking at the blueprint and Ayra's weapon simultaneously.

"What might?" Ayra asked, confused about his words.

"We are going to upgrade our weapons to something more useful. You will see what I'm talking about, but for now, let's go back and eat something," Garnt said with a mysterious smile showing that he was going to do something absurd.

With that, Garnt and Ayra, along with her two children, made their way back to their hut. As they walked through the village, people around them greeted them warmly.

"Look! It's Patriarch and the 'red wolf' family," One of the kids muttered showing they were already part of the village, that Garnt built.

"Well, they are always together, it's nothing to be surprised. I wish I could join hunting rank someday,"

Garnt overheard their conversation and felt proud to see the young kids of his village having dreams and goals, as that is exactly what he wanted to happen.

The reason Ayra's family is called "Red Wolves" is because of their distinctive red hair. They were known as the protectors of Garnt, always watching out for any threats that might come his way. It was a name they had earned through their unwavering loyalty and strength.

"Red wolves are such a cool name, looks like a lot of people in the village adore your family," Looking at the embarrassed faces of Ayra and the others, Garnt muttered those words.

As they chatted, they noticed a group of villagers returning from a hunting expedition. Excitement filled the air as the hunters approached the village, carrying their great spoils.

Garnt's eyes lit up when he saw the familiar figure of the hunting group's leader, a confident black-haired girl with a reputation for her skills. The villagers had great respect for her, and she was always at the forefront of any hunting party.

It was a rather familiar face for Garnt since she was like an actual sister to him, but somehow recently he started to feel something else looking at her.

Without hesitation, Garnt made his way over to greet the returning hunters, drawing smiles and nods from others along the way. As he approached, the black-haired leader turned her attention toward him, her face breaking into a wide grin.

She rushed forward and enveloped Garnt in a tight hug, surprising everyone around them.

"Garnt, you came to welcome me!" She said in a happy tone, feeling all the stress and exhaustion vanishing into the thin air.

"Unami, good work! As expected from you, this is some great hunting," Returning her hug, Garnt muttered and patted her head showing his affection, but he always felt awkward when her boobs kept touching his chest., especially through the thin clothes she wore

Kara, with her distinctive red hair, clenched her teeth slightly at the sight of this unexpected display of affection, her playful jealousy shining through her eyes. The black-haired girl, clearly enjoying the reaction, couldn't help but smirk.

"This bitch!" Kara shouted in anger, but she didn't want to make a scene in front of Garnt.

However, Garnt had an unexpected response up his sleeve after a few seconds. He gently started to sniff Unami while hugging, a mischievous glint in his eye, and then leaned closer to the black-haired girl. With a playful tone, he said, 'You know, you might need a bath after a day of hunting."

The red-haired girl couldn't contain her laughter, doubling over while holding her stomach.

"Garnt!" Unami looked at him with shocked eyes and quickly broke the hug. She quickly tried to run away, but Garnt held her hand and grabbed her back.

"Don't worry about it, I didn't mean it to insult you. I will wash your body and give you an intense shower as a reward. Come, let's go." Since Garnt also wanted a shower, he decided to bathe with her like old times, but Unami had a blush on her face.

She couldn't help but praise all the dirt in the forest for making her stink and giving her this chance.

"If you insist," She agreed and tried to follow him, but suddenly Kara blocked their road with an angry look on her face.

"I will join too!" She shouted and hugged Garnt's other side.

Garnt found himself in a rather unexpected situation. Both Unami and Kara were now vying for the chance to join him in the shower. He could feel the competitive tension building between them.

Unami, still slightly blushing from Garnt's earlier comment, tried to assert herself. "Huh? He asked me to join. You should go and train more since you can't even beat an insect."

"What did you say?" Kara tried to argue with Unami, but Garnt sighed and held both of them by their ears, asking them to calm down.

"Alright, alright, no need to fight, ladies. It's a big river, and there's plenty of room for all of us. We can make it a group shower like old times," Garnt said and looked at Ayra.

"Aunt, are you going to join us?" He asked since he didn't want to leave her out, but Ayra refused with a smile.

"Later! I want to help some kids with training, so I will sweat again."

Garnt didn't ask Kiriah to join because he didn't like taking a bath with another man, even if they were brothers when girls were present. So he took both of the girls and went to the private area of the flowing river where Garnt and his family usually use.
