Primordial Dimensions

Chapter 124 - Feeling Free

Chapter 124 - Feeling Free

When he walked inside his room, he ignored the curious gazes and questions of his roommates, as he took off his clothes, and left his boxers on before he went to bed.

Thinking about Olivia's gaze, he frowned lightly, before he closed his eyes

'Why would I spar with you, if your physique is too weak for me to handle! If you can't hold back, it would only be a waste of time for both of us!'

Even if he had known Olivia for a short time only, he was sure that holding back was something that she couldn't be associated with.

However, rather than thinking about this, Shane was glad to have seen the two girls, because he could give them his well-meant advice.

They could either ignore his words or listen to him as they were independent and could choose for themselves.

But in the end, they would lose out on a vast fortune, if everything worked according to his plan, which was highly likely, thanks to Aisha and the Valkyries' existence.

Shane woke up early in the morning, and he stretched his body after having received a good night's sleep

Yawning, he rubbed his drowsy eyes, only to see that his roommates were still asleep, while Paul snored loudly, which Shane hadn't noticed before.

Getting out of the bed, he put on loose clothes to go out of the dorm room to wash up.

Once he was done, Shane changed into a tight sports suit, before going out of the dorm.

He only had a light breakfast with a few fruits on his way to the tracks, before he decided to work out by running for an hour.

Trying to adjust his body to his new strength that he had gained over the last few days was not as easy as he thought it to be.

Even though it was only a flawed Apprentice state physique that he was slowly building up, Shane felt extremely powerful.

Thanks to his perfect mortal state foundation, he was confident in fighting against average 4th Apprentice states if he were to rely solely on his physique.

His 3rd Apprentice mana pool cultivation also felt spacious with [Artemis' Blessing] enlarging it, in addition to his mother's heirloom, thereby boosting the blessing by a few percent.

Without trying to exaggerate, Shane estimated that he could already fight 5th Apprentice or mid-Elite beasts head-on.

As such, he only had to adjust himself and give his best in order to learn the [Slaughterer's path] technique, which was labeled as one of the most difficult, yet also extraordinarily powerful Tier-1 techniques, if one were to disregard techniques with its quality at [Platinum] or higher.

With the Shirai Academy inhabiting roughly half a million students, there had to be a large place to practice all kinds of martial art techniques, skill, and affinities, while the academy also didn't neglect the importance of a balanced institution, as they built a large track and all kinds of areas to work out and increase their weaponry proficiency with all possible weapons.

There was even a parkour with multiple difficulties which Shane wanted to use in order to practice his flexibility once he accustomed himself to his newfound strength.

After running on the normal tracks for an hour, he felt that he was able to control his strength to a certain degree, which led him to change his focus to the large parkour field which many youths used to increase their flexibility.

In the end, the Shirai academy was extremely large and one could compare it to a large-scale shelter, solely because of the buildings inside.

If one were to cram all kinds of buildings within the area used by the Academy, several dozen humans could live there, while it was only barely enough for half a million youths with all kinds of practice equipment all around.

Nevertheless, Shane was more than glad that the Shirai academy had so much space for their students because nobody bothered him, while he tried to adjust himself to his physique.

It was still morning when he decided that he had practiced enough, and he slumped to the ground, taking deep breaths.

Looking at the sky, Shane could only sigh inwardly, because Igra was not as beautiful and magnificent as the Primordial Dimensions. The planet was polluted, filled with impurities, and without a single trace of natural mana.

Ignoring the fact that places like the tranquil forest existed, he didn't want to imagine living without the Primordial Dimensions anymore, because his life changed completely and it was fulfilling to adventure through the basic dimensions, even though he wasn't really far away from their shelter.

He hadn't met someone from a foreign race yet, though he had had some contact with a few races, if only for the sake of business.

Once he got adjusted to his body, Shane switched to a full-body workout, as suggested by his aunts and uncles.

However, instead of simply following their advice, Shane also decided to circulate mana throughout his body in the meantime, to become more adjusted to mana.

Thinking about it, only a short time passed since he entered the Primordial Dimensions which opened his mana channels completely.

It would be great if he could fight against others, while instinctively circulating mana throughout his body which would not only make him stronger but also replenish his energy and vigor.

Unfortunately, he couldn't envelope himself with mana while working out, because the surrounding mana was too shallow. He couldn't work out near the colosseum, which had a mana generator because it was forbidden.

As such, he couldn't excessively work out like he wanted to but this didn't mean that his workout was boring or less strenuous.

Only half an hour later, Shane's body was sore and his muscles buckled under his weight when he tried to move even the slightest.

Taking a deep breath, his body went slack as his arms gave in, and his face crashed into the ground below him.

He turned after resting for some time on the ground.

Shane was somehow satisfied with how his life had turned out to be so far..

He found it interesting to continue staring into the blue sky, with planes and all kinds of shuttles visible above only for a light gust of wind to brush past his face.

'Is this freedom?' Shane asked himself, smiling foolishly.

It was already afternoon when he tried to imagine everything the Slaughterer's path showed him in his visualization.

There was still no way for him to create bloodlust, but his killing intent was already much easier to move around, shape, and envelope all of his weapons.

Shane also tried to envelop his Tier-1 Horious-wood bow with killing intent and even his arrows, which seemed to be counterproductive with his current capabilities, because enveloping his bow and arrows with killing intent would clearly tell the beasts that he was about to hunt; that they were about to be attacked.

As such, without any major increase in attack force, it was stupid to envelop his bow and arrow with killing intent, while it was still slightly advantageous with his other close combat weapons, due to the fear and other emotions it could inflict in his opponent.

Saturday passed slowly for Shane as after long he had finally some free time on his hands.

If he could recall correctly, this day was the best he had in his second life as he could do whatever he wanted.

He spent his day lying on the lush grass, staring aimlessly at the sky, without having to do anything at all.

After practicing his proficiency with his daggers, the curved longsword he purchased and his archery skills didn't feel like a burden which was the case when he was forced to stay inside the mansion, and Shane could finally breathe free.
