Chapter 312 - Unwanted Message

Chapter 312 - Unwanted Message

When he heard that the shelter's construction had been finished, he immediately relayed this news to the group chat consisting of his aunts, uncles and father.

Each of them had the rights to order the system to evaluate any shelter of the human race.

As such, he didn't think that there would be any problems.

In the end, he didn't even have to look at the final result, because Shane was confident that they would earn a huge amount of funds!

He hoped they would earn enough to awaken his soul bound world's mana heart!

Yet, Shane thought that it might not be as easy as he thought, and he had a premonition.

Nevertheless, there was nothing he could do, and instead of worrying, he might as well change into a proper set of clothes in order to create a good first impression while meeting the other human prodigies at the trials.

His proper set of clothes were combat clothes of better quality, and he didn't bother about wearing something formal. He hoped that like him, everyone was fully aware that the trials were not to be seen as a means of flaunting one's beauty, or wealth but rather a chance to showcase one's combat prowess, probably intelligence, and if everything went south, basic etiquettes.

.

One had to pay attention to the other race's traditions to prevent offending them unintentionally which could create an unfavorable situation, but Shane didn't think that he had any problems there.

The only issue he had was that he knew proper etiquette and how to behave with other races, yet, he was unable to employ his knowledge in most cases.

When it came to being humble, polite while paying attention to every single detail, Shane felt that he would never learn it and continue to exhibit the worst behavior that would come across as rude or snobbish.

As such, he hoped that 'etiquette' wouldn't be considered a task in the trials and it would be a given that the human prodigies knew about etiquette the best!

It was almost time for the four of them to depart, and meet up in Igra's capital, Lira city, when Shane received the notification Talia forwarded that she had received from the government.

[System evaluation has been concluded?RadiantRing shelter's defensive capabilities have been tested and found to be strong enough to defend against a beast tide lead by several Superior awakened beasts(95%)

Remark: Three-layered Tagradar wall, 24 Greater Astral towers, 474 unique ballistae, 103,430 large magic bolts,(...). Every single building has been reinforced with multiple occupational skills; Overall design is highly secure in preventing intrusion attempts(...)

Evaluated price: 73,346,350 gold coins!    (Excluding Mana distortion platform)]

[88,015,620 gold coins have been transferred to the host's finances!]

While Shane read this, he couldn't suppress his happiness because everything they had received were pure profits, which was shocking!

They had more than 95 million gold coins altogether, and even if he would distribute 15 million gold coins to all Astral Artisans who had constructed the shelter, he would still be left with a sizable chunk of profits.

Shane felt generous which was the reason why he decided to distribute 15 million instead of 10% of the profits his Astral Artisans would normally get.

However, the moment Talia transferred the gold coins she had received to Shane's account, two notifications appeared right in front of his face.

They were underlined in red and the premonition that had disappeared for a short moment resurfaced in an instant.

The three young women who had been standing next to Shane saw the message in front of him, and squinted their eyes, in hopes that the message was not too bad.

Under normal circumstances, there were several kinds of notifications the system would send out from time to time.

One type was simple information about something, while another kind were notifications about the system or purchases one had made.

However, red notifications were always a warning!

As such, Aisha, Miriam, and Frer couldn't help but look at Shane with a glint of worry in their eyes.

[Error...Error….Error! System had detected an Error within the host's soul bound world!]

[Hidden Paradise's 'self-earned' tag will be deleted because the host has utilized inappropriate ways to acquire funds.

In view of the fact that it had not been detected by the system before, it will accept one purchase with the 'self-earned' tag before the tag will be obliterated!

The host should consider himself fortunate!

This time there'll be no punishment because the system made a mistake, yet, the host should stop exploiting the system, otherwise, he will have to face severe repercussions!

Congratulations on outmaneuvering the system!]

Seeing the messages, Shane couldn't help but sigh as he mumbled,

"As expected...the loophole won't work forever!"

On one hand, Shane was frustrated, but on the other hand, it was already a wonder that he had been able to retain the self-earned tag for such a long time.

It was also fortunate that the system didn't punish him which was what he had been dreading the whole time.

Other than that, he could make a single purchase with the system, which meant that he could still purchase the mana heart awakening.

As such, Shane calmed down and his heart that had begun to gallop like a thousand horses followed suit.

The mana heart awakening was the most important and everything he had wanted to do either way.

Establishing an entire planet with an ecosystem? Why should he focus on that right now?

He didn't plan to enter a place devoid of oxygen and neither was he in a hurry for anything other than awakening the Hidden Paradise's mana heart.

As such, he couldn't help but feel that the message was not as bad as he'd thought it would be. He was already lucky and shouldn't rely on exploiting the system.

The prices for everything concerning the Hidden Paradise would skyrocket, but that was fine with him.

Instead of focusing on his 'misfortune', Shane decided that it was more important to make the most out of the situation.

With one purchase Shane couldn't do much, but he might as well look at the mana awakening differently.

There was not only a common mana awakening but thousands of different ones with all kinds of different uses.

A small difference in the awakened mana hearts' mana density or purity would create a huge impact in the long run.

Thus, Shane tried to think of a solution that would allow him to enlarge his soul bound world to the maximum capacity without the need to upgrade the mana heart over and over again!

This was important because he would be unable to pay for the upgrades for the time being.

When the three girls saw that Shane was still fine, and nothing major seemed to have happened, they calmed down.

Never had they been so worried about someone else being punished by the system as today, yet, instead of approaching him and asking what had happened, they simply told him that it was time to depart. Nodding his head, he simply followed them while focusing on his system's holographic screen.

Shane had already opened the list of the different types of mana heart awakenings he could have for the Hidden Paradise, and the number of possibilities was even higher than he had expected it to be.

'This will probably take a few days…'

With slightly above 80 million gold coins as his balance, he could purchase several kinds of mana heart awakenings, and only the most basic one, which Igra had also undergone, would cost him 40 million gold coins.

The self-earned discount and his stage's discount were enormous and Shane didn't even want to think about the astronomical prices he would have to pay in the future.

As such, he decided to take a look at the most expensive mana heart awakenings he could afford,

Right now was not the time to be stingy!
