Chapter 425: Adjustment

The first thing Shane noticed as he entered the Azra titan savannah dimension was the blistering heat.

It was extremely hot, and Shane quickly took off several pieces of clothes only to exchange them with a silk shirt that had a faint cooling sensation owing to the runes inscribed on it.

He was glad to have instructed the weavers to produce clothes for all kinds of possible scenarios as they were unable to figure out the exact weather situation on the planet they were likely to colonize.

In the end, the weather could change in a moment, and it was better to be prepared, which was the case with Shane right now!

Walking through the hot savannah, he could only spot a few beasts at first glance.

A few were hiding from the mana fluctuations Shane was subconsciously releasing, while others were acting as if they were frozen in place, or dead.

These were their ways of showing their submission, fear, and the true extent to which they perceived his strength.

Shane was a little bit astonished about this, but it was only logical.

Right now, he was not even trying to conceal his mana currents, thus his power was freely radiating off him.

Earlier, he’d planned to wreak havoc inside the Azra titan savannah dimension the moment he entered it, but Shane decided against this as he tried to change his pace from a simple walk to a sprint within a minute.

This wouldn’t have been a problem but he accidentally used too much force, which caused the foot with which he pushed himself from the ground to go slightly under it but he quickly balanced himself.

Even though he was astonished, Shane couldn’t help but smile weirdly when he noticed this.

As such, instead of wreaking havoc by himself he called Umbra, Cosmo, and Viridy out to play around, and do whatever they pleased.

While Viridy had barely entered the Elite stage as it had hatched less than two weeks ago, Umbra and Cosmo were already strong enough to run around freely.

Thus Viridy had used his vines to hold tightly onto Umbra before the three soulbonds started to play and hunt!

Shane found this sight interesting, but instead of paying too much attention to his playful soulbonds, he tried to focus on his strength, how to regulate it in the best way and how exactly he should employ everything combined with his affinities.

With that in mind, Shane jogged through the savannah while trying to utilize the darkness affinity that was by far the easiest affinity he had.

Several hours passed and he was finally able to roughly gauge how fast he could run without obstructing himself so as to not destroy his surroundings!

The simplest ways on how to use his darkness affinity were also possible, and Shane felt proud about his achievement.

Meanwhile, Viridy and Cosmo were extremely exhausted owing to the blazing heat, in contrast to Umbra who liked the heat.

This was an extreme change in Umbra’s behavior as he used to hate even the faintest sunlight, and Shane could only shake his head at the new development.

After he had learned how to run while using his darkness affinity, Shane added exerting his martial art techniques and other affinities to the mix!

Due to this, the difficulty increased several times in an instant, but that could hardly deter him from pursuing his goals.

Rather, the difficulty allowed Shane to know that he had yet to reach the peak of the basic Primordial dimensions because there was still a lot for him to learn!

**

Four days had passed since Shane had entered the Azra titan savannah dimension, and he had begun to slaughter all kinds of overlords in order to attract the wrath of the king.

His physical strength alone had already been enough to finish off the Overlords as his perfect foundation had been further amplified by his soulbond’s share of strength that was equal to 15% of their overall strength!

This meant that every soulbond gave him an amplification of 15%, which was extremely beneficial, owing to his soulbonds’ great strength.

Shane was walking through the Savannah, not bothering about the direction in which he went while only paying attention to his soulbonds that were ahead of him.

He couldn’t even see them, and only through their soul connection was Shane able to sense where they were and how they felt.

Suddenly a deep sensation of fear was transmitted from all three of his soulbonds which caused Shane to instinctively exert the [Light steps] movement technique before he rushed towards them.

At the same time, he circulated large amounts of mana through his body, further enhancing his fast pace.

His breathtaking speed allowed Shane to cross long distances in a single moment, but still, he felt as if it was not fast enough.

As such, he couldn’t care less as he released his bloodlust-killing-intent, while the passive ability [Warrior’s heart] that originated from [Artemis’ blessing] activated itself, increasing the circulation speed of mana in his body further.

There were further amplification, but Shane didn’t pay them any attention as he noticed how Cosmo appeared in front of him through a spatial portal, immediately followed by Umbra, who had the little lesser forest spirit on his head.

All three were scared witless and Shane instinctively knew why this was the case.

This made him order his three soublonds to enter the soul world that had undergone drastic changes during the last few days.

Because nobody required any mana from the soul world, the energy storage was always almost full which allowed Shane to make use of it as and when required.

At that moment, he noticed that the surrounding temperature was increasing as the horizon seemed to erupt into hellish flames.

Seeing this, Shane couldn’t help but feel that the three headed blazing lion was a little over the top in his power display.

Hundreds of beasts were scurrying away frantically, but all their efforts were in vain as the fire caught onto them, searing through their flesh and hide.

Taking a deep breath, Shane released his bloodlust-killing-intent that enveloped him tightly, strengthening his defenses, only to be further reinforced by the mana current he released.

Enveloped by a thin layer of a mana membrane and the bloodlust-killing-intent, Shane let them merge, as they amplified each other before the Invincible Scimitar appeared in Shane’s hand.

However, instead of entering close combat as he had done every single time before, Shane tried to figure out whether the darkness affinity was of any use against the three headed blazing lion or not.

Conjuring a few spears with the help of his affinity, he waited until the King of the Savannah reached a certain range after which he threw the darkness spears at him without any hesitation.

Owing to the surrounding temperature that increased at a rapid pace and the density of the flames that enveloped the four-meter-tall crimson furred lion, Shane could only sigh as he noticed that the darkness spears disintegrated.

They had been strong enough to pierce through the unbearable heat, only to barely graze the lion’s fur.

However, instead of thinking that this was an indicator for his evident loss, Shane felt excited as he faced the three headed blazing lion. The mighty beast’s thunderous roar echoed through the surrounding after Shane had attacked it.

The lion seemed to mock Shane, but instead of reacting to this, he could only smile vibrantly as he began to transfer some of the soul world’s stored mana towards his mana pool.

“So that is a king, huh? Let’s have some fun!!”
