Chapter 563 Void Mirror Physique Owner
Chapter 563 Void Mirror Physique Owner
While Konrad indulged in carnal pleasures and harvested Blood Nether and the Warden’s cultivation, Krann brought back the Void Mirror Physique owner who now stood in the main hall, quivering no end.
After filling his nun, consort and servant’s every hole for the umpteenth time, Konrad’s cultivation broke through to the peak of the Anti-God Realm, comparable to a late-stage Primordial God. As promised, Konrad saved his prowess with a recording mirror, intent on not letting Regretless miss the tiniest part of it.
And as the three lay cum-drunk in a puddle of spunk, Konrad vanished to reappear within his main hall where Krann stood alongside a white-haired old man whose quivering disturbed the hall’s peace.
Feature-wise, there was nothing special about this man. His ordinary looks would never stand out in a crowd, and although his lineage was that of a pureblooded Stolas Demon, his cultivation stood at the first step of the Arch Knight and Spirit Ranks.
Pureblooded demons were born at the Arch Rank. Therefore, although this old man couldn’t cultivate, he still possessed some strength. Not that it mattered. Deaf, mute, blind and paraplegic, even with an Arch Knight’s bit of spiritual sense, this old man lived at the mercy of others for his 800 years of life.
For the honored Stolas lineage, his existence had always been a stain. Fortunately for him, his mother was a Minor Goddess that served as a maid for the deceased Stolas Primogen. With that status, she could preserve his life. Following the death of the Stolas Primogen at Talroth’s hands, however, the situation underwent drastic changes. Stolas’ servants were all implicated, and slaughtered by Talroth to the last. Because his mother took care to hide him in a deserted forest of the Eastern Domain before the purge, he’d avoided the tribulation.
Afterward, a succession of startling events left the world no time to care for a cripple. Never did he expect that out of the blue, someone would snatch him from his hut to bring him in foreign lands! Although the old man could neither see nor hear, the scent within the atmosphere clearly told him...that he no longer was in Hell!
Dressed in a black bathrobe, Konrad sat on his throne and glanced toward the old man. Though compelled into kneeling by Krann, though the lack of information regarding this new place and his upcoming fate clutched his chest, he didn’t dare utter a word of complaints. This was a man that deeply cared for his life, and struggled to not commit the tiniest mistake.
Konrad had no intention to make things difficult for him.
"I will cut right to the chase. You’ve been summoned to the Myriad Dreams Valley because I have a use for your physique. In exchange for it, I will give you one thing you desire. Choose carefully."
Konrad began in a mental message, and though across the Chthonian Verse, the old man was undoubtedly one of the rare few that knew nothing of the Myriad Dreams Valley, it didn’t take a genius to figure out that someone able to strip him of his physique undoubtedly was an unfathomable existence. After all, this was a feat that even his deities couldn’t accomplish!
Tumultuous waves of fright assailed the old man’s mind. But as he considered the opportunity standing before him, he tried his hardest to restrain himself.
"Y-your...excellency..i-if you have the ab-ability p-please, p-please bring my mother back."
The old man struggled to say through a mental message of his own as he awkwardly bowed toward Konrad. Being mute didn’t affect his spiritual sense. Therefore, he still had effective means to communicate. Hearing this, Konrad arched an eyebrow.
According to the old man’s past, he shouldn’t have been able to figure out his mother’s demise. All he knew was that she abandoned him in a hut, with neither word nor directions, then forever vanished. For being able to accurately figure out she no longer was of this world, the old man could be considered astute.
"Are you determined? I can give you so much more. If you so wish, I could make you stronger than the past Stolas Primogen or give you endless wealth and riches. Glory, splendor wealth and rank are yours if you so desire. Perhaps in the future, you can find a way to bring her back by your own means.
Do you insist on making this your wish?"
Konrad inquired, more out of curiosity than anything else. And still bent in that awkward bow, the old man nodded in vigorous approval.
I...don’t dare gamble. I’ve...always been a burden, a shame...a disgrace. H-however, despite the j-jeers and scorn, mother always took care of me -- protecting me to the best of her abilities.
Glory...splendor, wealth and rank -- all those are inconsequential if...the heart is full of regret. My only wish...is that she can live well."
The old man stammered in another mental message. And as those words echoed, Konrad couldn’t help but see Regretless in the old man’s eyes. Indeed, they were quite similar.
With a smile, Konrad stretched his right index toward the old man, stripping him of his Void Mirror Physique in a silent surge of diabolic energies. The Void Mirror Physique dived into Konrad, merging with his flesh, blood, and alongside the two others, formed an unholy trinity.
"Agreed."
Konrad declared, this time speaking with his vocal cords, and as the words lingered, the old man was startled to see the darkness of his eyes vanish, revealing a world of blinding splendor to his sight!
Better, Konrad’s voice echoed in his ears! His eyes widened in disbelief!
"Although your demonic blood prevented your legs from atrophying, you still need to get used to them. Stand up and walk. Your mother awaits where you last saw her."
Konrad stated, and vanished from the scene, leaving behind the flabbergasted old man who like a fool kept his mouth wide open.
"MY MASTER TOLD YOU TO STAND UP!"
"Aaargh!"
Krann’s snarl forced the old man out of his torpor, and he leaped onto his feet, stumbled, and again dropped on the ground! Seeing this, Krann shook his head and cracked his fists with threatening gestures.
The old man didn’t need more encouragement and rose straight like an arrow.
"Good! Master tasked me with sending you home so..."
Krann began, curved his right hand into a claw, and before the flabbergasted old man, tore open a space gash with a downward motion.
"...go home!"
*BAM*
"AAAAARGH!"
Krann’s right foot met the old man’s buttocks in a resounding kick, sending him flying into the space gash to return whence he came! And indeed, there, his mother awaited.
...
Meanwhile, Konrad landed in Cacillia’s chambers. And as if answering his visit, her eyes trembled, announcing her impending awakening.
