Life Gold... that is a truly precious treasure. Amongst all S-ranked rewards that Ja Sun had received, excluding the techniques and tomes of knowledge, Life Gold's value equaled that of Crystal of War God's Essence.

His spirit bone emerged and everyone was surrounded in a dark purple space while they felt their minds suddenly feeling refreshing mental energy boosting their consciousness and without any words exchanged, everyone's vision turned and their opponent's true appearance was finally revealed to them.

Ja Sun didn't speak, but a baleful aura spread from his body. None of his teammates had ever seen him truly angry. They had experienced the killing intent occasionally and it was mostly done to calm Liu Erlong down. But right now, the extremely dense yet frightfully calm aura of demise gripped everybody's heart and made their chests tightened. The mindless Beasttakens were not excluded. Their bodies tensed up and they locked onto Ja Sun.

Even in anger, Ja Sun knew what was important: To keep his teammates unscathed. The best way to do so is being the center of everybody's focus and seeing such a great reception to his killing intent, Ja Sun smiled coldly. He let Bibi Dong take command still. If he took charge, his mind would be occupied by the momentum of attacks and he may not be able to support someone else and that may lead to injury.

With Ah Yin's domain and within the effect of domain-like True Fantasy, everyone was comparatively boosted and everyone had already revealed their spirit rings by now. Xie Xan and Hu Lana stuck close this time, not out of affection but necessity. Now that they had seen the faces of their opponents, they didn't feel like holding back at all. Sticking close to each other, the couple was ready to burst with their strongest ability against the opponents.

'The cyan and red beasttakens are mutations and stronger, take note of them. Ah Yin, don't let your domain interfere with mine. At my signal,' Bibi Dong's intentions were transferred and a bright white light materialized around her, undulating with spirit energy before instantly spreading out. For a brief moment, the white light felt a restriction but as Ah Yin's gaze condensed, it spread far and wide while everyone around Bibi Dong felt their blood boil slightly. A sense of aggression filled them but instead of making them mindless, this feeling urged them: their spirit energy to use the strongest possible attacks with every move.

Almost 200 beasttakens were dangerous and the white light instantly made the already startled beasttakens howl one after another. The first to move was none other than one of the five cyan wolftaken as it revealed a demonic phantom behind itself and wind seemed to surge with its steps.

A burst of wind instantly shot towards the group when thick, coiling deep blue vines with silver veins rose high, blocking the attack once again. Would Ah Yin not use her abilities to the greatest extent when roused by her own and Bibi Dong's domain. A control-type spirit master affects the flow of battle, how he or she chooses to achieve this flow is not by strict control-type abilities itself. A dull control-type spirit master is worth less than a defense-type spirit master and Ah Yin's abilities gave her full creativity to use whatever she wishes in her surrounding. She may not achieve high explosiveness and attack capabilities yet, but her other qualities were supreme.

It is also because of Ah Yin that Bibi Dong and others weren't moving. They were surrounded by a living fortress, after all.

The cyan wolftaken moved back instead of pursuing out of fury.

This time, the large crimson bear taken roared and instantly smashed his fist onto the ground. Compared to the beartaken, the group was standing on a bit of a downslope.

With its smash, the group began to crack slightly while fiery spirit energy pushed into the crevices and with explosive sounds, multiple plumes of flame rose from the cracks, spreading it further and further towards the group once again as Ah Yin took charge once more. The same set of coiling vines that defended against the burst of wind rushed forward while Ah Yin's third spirit ring flared and the coiling Blue Silver Kings and Emperors under the control of a goddess flashed a dark blue glow.

Elemental Resistance.

The third spirit ring of Ah Yin granted her Blue Silver Goddess 15% more elemental resistance than it already had. Similarly, the already resistant and resilient Blue Silver Kings and Emperors met the fiery explosion and alongside the enhancement of Bibi Dong's domain, emerged victorious.

Elemental Attacks of this level were useless and all the beasttakens surrounding the small group finally rushed in with deep growls and roars. Since their elemental qualities cannot be used, their large number and tough bodies would have to do.

'Prepare!'

Bibi Dong's words drummed in everybody's head and Hu Lana and Xie Xan finally embraced each other.

A unique energy spread out from their bodies and the phantoms of their martial souls abruptly appeared behind them before revealing deep crimson light that enveloped both of them. Hu Lana's and Xie Xan's figures blurred within the light before a tall and sleek individual reappeared. Its entire body covered in sleek armor, even its face. Amber strands of hair stood behind the figure like a mane and in its grasp was Xie Xan's crimson moon blade. The physique of this figure was definitely ambiguous. Thin and slender but limbs still solid and a wider chest with a solid back as defined by the carving of the sleek armor without any cut-out joints.

Spirit Fusion Ability!

A set of hidden eyes widened in astonishment!

In the cultivation of Martial Souls, there exists a rare ability between two or more individuals. Spirit Fusion. This is a natural synchronizing trait between two or more martial souls and to even achieve this ability, one must be related to each other and have shared feelings of love or camaraderie.

Indeed, the armored individual holding the moon blades was Spirit Fusion between Xie Xan and Hu Lana.

Charm Demon.

"Leave the back to us," a strangely harmonic yet mixed voice of Xie Xan and Hu Lana burst out of the individual and red mist began to seep out of its body.

Ja Sun didn't say anything.

A Spirit Fusion Ability is strong. After all, two Spirit Kings with their martial souls fused together, how could it be weak? Given their state, right now, the power this Charm Demon held already entered the ranks of Spirit Sage!

The red mist was the enhancement of Hu Lana's fourth ability: Chaos Fog.

Bibi Dong glanced in their direction, her heart a little startled. Even if the spirit fusion was surrounded by enhancement of Chaos Fog, something that could suppress Bibi Dong, too, she still found her mind connected to Xie Xan and Hu Lana. After all, they still hadn't felt the independent space under Ja Sun's urging and only moved a bit farther from the group to not affect them with their ability.

The fact that Ja Sun's telepathy could still cover them made the Charm Demon ecstatic. Now, it could still cooperate with outside the fog.

Instantly, the beasttakens who entered the fog found their senses, speed, and spirit energy suppressed.

By almost 50%!

Half of their strength reduced but Charm Demon moved like a fish in the water. The numerous beasts didn't even know when the incomparably sharp moon blade passed through their necks and bodies.

Howls rang within.

Hu Lana's chaos fog didn't even let loud sound escape so easily but with the increase in the strength of the attributes of the fog, it also revealed the weakness that the sound from the inside could escape the fog. Without any anticipation, the large number of beasttakens, instead of forcefully barging into the fog, diverged and moved around the fog, instantly pressurizing the remaining four surrounded by Ah Yin's vines. Ah Yin didn't have to move if she wasn't directly attacked and Ja Sun saw to it that this situation remained as such.

Bibi Dong instantly let out a piercing shriek while Ja Sun had also transformed into his beast spirit enhancement. Both, the innate terror of Bibi Dong's martial soul and the sluggishness revealed due to a strange presence erupted from Ja Sun destroyed the already weakened enemies' momentum and countless vines drilled out like sharp swords this instance.

Riled up by Bibi Dong's shriek, Liu Erlong's body bathed in flames instantly converged over her palm, and her third spirit rings flared deeply.

As one of Ja Sun's talons sharpened by Vajra Gauntlets pierced into the body and only then letting out the shock to turn a wolftaken's heart into a mush, his other talon slapped the head of a charging beartaken towards Ah Yin.

'Ah Yin, fling as many as you can within the fog,' Charm Demon's voice appeared within Ah Yin and her eyes brightened before she crouched and slammed her hands on the ground. Many vines erupted out like waves of sea serpents, coiling around the bodies of their opponents before pushing them back. But it was only the first part of her attack. The vines wrapped tightly around the bodies of the beasts were pushed into the fog and painful howls rang almost instantly.

Everyone shared each other's thoughts and reached the perfect state of cooperation instantly.

Though disheartening, Ja Sun's decision of letting go of one reward for the other three proved extremely beneficial. At this point, instead of being overwhelmed by the tide, the group in fact began to suppress the tide. While Bibi Dong had previously been thought to be the true damage dealer, at this point, this task was smoothly handed to Ah Yin, Xie Xan, and Hu Lana. Meanwhile, surrounding Ah Yin, Ja Sun and the remaining two women supported others, covering up the gaps.

But Ja Sun didn't wallow in grief. He constantly found new ways to utilize his own trait after arriving in this world and already realized that his previous peak wasn't anywhere near the true use of his trait. Once again, he realized another major cheat to use regarding the trait.

In case objectives are already set and extremely high limitations are set upon oneself, Ja Sun could break one of the optional objectives and decrease the difficulty of the mission while still attaining the same reward.

In this instance, three limitations were set which truly made the task of dealing with the beast tide difficult. Now that he used True Fantasy, the difficulty was exponentially decreased. Now, the comprehensive difficulty of the mission wouldn't even be considered B-rank but the rewards are still A/S/S/S-ranked. How could Ja Sun not realize this at a passing thought?

Compex emotions filled him.

He realized this cheat. But at what cost?

An S-ranked reward!

With a cold snort, Ja Sun moved swiftly and entered the fog but others weren't fearful of this act. He had already sensed Charm Demon being slightly overwhelmed and since the Chaos Fog was useless against him, he began to take care of beasttakens on the edges of the fog.

Bibi Dong parted her lips wide and instantly let out two strings of web with purple miasma roiling around them that spread out wide and wrapped a dozen of beasttakens. Painful howls rang instantly. All of these motions occurred in a time of few breaths and Liu Erlong finally completed her attack. The large sphere of crimson flames shot out towards the bound opponents.

*Booom*

Ah Yin rolled her eyes and plants, not only blue silver species, but every plant around them moved, enlarged, and created a green, blue, silver, and brown wooden dome around the group, cutting off the majority of the tide as Bibi Dong took care of the ones in front of Ja Sun finally emerged from the fog once again, catching the neck of a relatively frail wolftaken lunging towards Ah Yin before destroying him.

On the outside, Ah Yin, through her domain, saw licks of flames splash out, instantly catching many on fire due to their dry fur but only one of the mutated Wolftaken was dealt with at this moment.

'Don't cover our vision for too long,' Ja Sun's voice entered Ah Yin and she realized that without Ja Sun's view, she may very well have observed an illusion instead. With loud creaking sound amidst the howls of beasttakens, the wooden dome already burnt by a lot uncoiled around them like a blooming flower, and what greeted the eager beasttakens was Bibi Dong's sixth spirit ability once again. Poisonous, draining thorns shot out from the ground and moved at her will, instantly created a dark pink twister that drew the blood of the opponents around her.

Aside from True Fantasy, Ja Sun still had the Yin-Yang True Illusion, but instead of using this ability, Ja Sun activated the second part of the True Fantasy's ability.

The surrounding beasttakens suddenly faced projections of a single man. Everyone saw the same man. It was a figure clad in blood-red armor and long dark red hair unrolling over his shoulders and naturally curled outwards from the tips. The figure had a slightly blurry face, but the tinted red eyes were bright and clear. Seeing this figure, Bibi Dong shuddered momentarily and the same cold and ruthless intent invaded Ja Sun's control of telepathy but this time, instead of bearing it passively, Ja Sun scoffed and his bloodlust escaped.

The effects were far pressing than usual since his terrifying intent directly exploded in Bibi Dong's mind, suppressing that cruel intent and for the first time, instead of pain, relief flickered in Bibi Dong's eyes and her entire vibe shifted once again. She was still a giant menacing and haunting half woman and half arachnid but right now, all her coldness was truly washed out.

But that couldn't be said for the sea of beasttakens as they all stiffened. What Ja Sun had released was the ability to develop one's nightmare in the domain of True Fantasy. Strangely, the nightmare of all these beasttakens was this incomparably pale figure but Ja Sun soon realized that the nightmare didn't belong to these Beasttakens...

His eyes flashed.

'Strike! The controller is unable to direct these Beasttakens for some reason. Don't leave this chance at all!'

Charm Demon abruptly shot out of its mist and turned into a reaper while Ja Sun and Bibi Dong instantly targetted the stronger, mutated beasttakens.

A black ring rotated around him and every time he tapped the dangerous yet stunned beartakens, a purple glow would escape his talon and enter the body of the opponents like a thin vein before they would collapse.

Ja Sun used Heaven's Descent four times, removing three Wolftakens and one beartakens while Bibi Dong was even fiercer. Her eight arachnid limbs acted like sharp blades that pierced through the eyes of Beasttakens, instantly reaping the lives of the defenseless beasts.

The weakness of such a tactic was finally revealed. Had it been normal beasttakens facing their fears, they would have lashed out instead, taking the most primal route, or cowered and retreated. But none would have frozen midway. That's how humans react.

But the reaction changed and the figure of blood-red individual twisted about, turning into terrifying beasts, finally revealing the true nightmares of these beasts. These flashes of image opened their bloody jaws and the beasts reacted fiercely.

However, it was too late now.

Charm Demon instantly retreated to its territory: the chaos fog, and lured many mindless and raging beasttakens into the sweet embrace of death. Liu Erlong howled similar to beasts, her eyes red while Ja Sun pursed his lips and followed her. Out of everyone present, only Liu Erlong was dangerous yet dumb enough to hurt herself in the last leg of the battle out of a moment of impulsiveness. Ah Yin's and Bibi Dong's side was practically cleared.

*Kcck*

"You dumb broad! Would it kill you if you don't get hurt!" Ja Sun hissed as Liu Erlong's head snapped in his direction. Since she could feel Ja Sun's warning through the telepathy, she knew a beast was right behind her but she chose to charge ahead and completely eradicate the last dregs. Ja Sun's decision to follow Liu Erlong proved correct but also feeling the attentiveness Ja Sun placed on her, she simply scoffed, not retaliating but instead saying, "I can always leave my back to you."

Though she sounded heartwarming, the fierce scowl and the enemy's blood drenching her body made her look like a demon.

"Does that mean...?" Ja Sun smiled.

"We all are still connected!" Everybody aside from Ja Sun scowled as they instantly felt his perverted thoughts and lashed out simultaneously.

"Tch," Ja Sun scoffed but instead of stopping, he just let it go all out. With his mind washed by multiple 'erotic documentaries' of his world, the thoughts he could generate far exceeded their imagination and everyone instantly felt their thoughts turn and twist. Although they all felt stunned by such a retaliation, the Charm Demon now divided into Hu Lana and Xie Xan couldn't help but reveal different reactions. Xie Xan felt enlightened while the women blushed deeply.

'Let's spread out and find the controller.'

Bibi Dong finally diverted everybody's attention and they all nodded. Due to Ah Yin, Ja Sun, and the Charm Demon, the overall consumption of the energy was under control. What Bibi Dong meant by spreading out wasn't to move alone in various directions since they all may end up falling into a trap but the simultaneous use of Ah Yin's domain could support everyone.

"I just discovered one corpse and one unconscious male around us. And... the scenery has changed a little. Let's move quickly," Ah Yin's words gave everybody a direction and they moved instantly towards the unconscious man. Seeing the dark-haired pale-skinned individual in his rags, Ja Sun tied him down using the spirit-blocking rope and then pulled him alongside the group towards the location of the corpse.
