Chapter 120: Burial Mound, Guiding Lightning Talisman!
Wang Xuewen didn’t just cut Sun Jiezhen in half at the waist. Seeing that the top half of her body was still squirming and screaming softly on the ground, Wang Xuewen sharpened his knife on a stone lion for a while, and under the horrified eyes of the group, he grinned sinisterly and dismembered Sun Jiezhen into pieces until her screams stopped. Only then did he look for his next target.
This scene scared everyone witless.
Si Yinghua, Jiang Meng, and Chen Bing had been running the fastest earlier, so they witnessed this tragic scene clearly.
The two women were so shocked that they pissed themselves and slumped to the ground. Si Yinghua was a man, but he wasn’t in any better shape. He almost pissed his pants in fright, but ultimately, he still had more guts than a woman. He immediately came back to his senses and ran, retching.
When Chen Bing saw Si Yinghua run away, she reacted before Jiang Meng did. Seeing that Wang Xuewen would be able to grab them when they were so close, Chen Bing was afraid that Wang Xuewen would grab her next. She didn’t know where she got the strength from, but she suddenly reached out and pushed Jiang Meng, who was beside her, in Wang Xuewen’s direction, then turned around and ran.
Jiang Meng was caught off-guard and was pushed away. She looked at Chen Bing in disbelief, but Wang Xuewen already had one hand around her neck.
Seeing that the large knife was about to slash at her, Jiang Meng was so scared that yellow urine trickled down her legs to the ground. Her beautiful face twisted in despair and horror, and she looked at Si Yinghua with eyes that were about to crack open as she begged for help. “Help, help… me!”
Running was all Si Yinghua and Chen Bing could do; how would they dare step forward to save her? Everyone only saw the knife head straight for Jiang Meng’s head without stopping at all. Instantly, half of her head was chopped off, and her brain burst open. She lay paralyzed on the ground in a pool of watery blood.
There was the sound of a knife being sharpened, followed by the sound of meat being chopped up.
If Qi Hao and Jian Chongying had only been scared silly by Sun Jiezhen’s tragic death just now, seeing Jiang Meng’s tragic condition with half her head chopped off really made the two of them want to cry with fright. Their faces were pale as they trembled, their legs so soft that they couldn’t stand straight.
Jian Chongying reacted first. Seeing Si Yinghua and Chen Bing running toward them, he quickly pulled at Qi Hao’s arm and ran back.
It was a good thing Lu Chengfu had hung onto them, refusing to let them get close. The two of them had only run a fraction of the way, which was why they now had time to run back.
“Damn! What the hell is going on?” Qi Hao cursed in fright, but his choked and incredulous voice let the others know that he was on the verge of collapse.
Beside him, Jian Chongying wasn’t in any better shape.
The two originally planned to run out of the tomb, but almost bumped into Lu Chengfu, who was running back from the tomb entrance.
Qi Hao and Jian Chongying didn’t forget Lu Chengfu’s words just now and completely treated him as their savior. “Chengfu, w- what the hell is going on? Wang Xuewen, he… how…?”
“He’s not Wang Xuewen!” Lu Chengfu said.
“Run first, run to the entrance first!” Seeing that Si Yinghua and Jiang Meng were running further and further away, Jian Chongying hurriedly interrupted Qi Hao and Lu Chengfu.
Lu Chengfu hurriedly blocked the two. “Run somewhere else. I went to check the tomb entrance; we can’t get out!”
“What are we going to do?” Qi Hao still wanted to speak, but suddenly heard the sound of a blade dragging over the ground in their direction. Qi Hao was scared to death. “What the hell is that?!”
Jian Chongying suddenly said, “Then treat it as a ghost thing. Wait, didn’t we bring talismans?”
Qi Hao immediately reacted. He pulled out a handful of talismans from his backpack and threw them in the direction of Wang Xuewen, who was getting closer and closer. Who would have thought that they were no use at all, and the man dragging the blade picked up his pace instead!
The three almost pissed their pants.
Qi Hao wanted to throw his bag down on the spot, but Lu Chengfu suddenly said, “Haozi, throw out one of the talismans from Brother Zhu.”
“What’s the use? They’re all fake talismans, we better run!” Qi Hao said as he turned his head.
He was still going to say something else, but saw Jian Chongying and Lu Chengfu, who initially had anxious expressions, stare at him in horror. Just as he was about to speak, in the illumination of the flashlight, he distinctly saw a sharp blade suddenly appear out of the shadows on the ground. He subconsciously turned around and saw that the blade which had chopped up Sun Jiezhen and Jiang Meng was slashing toward his head.
Qi Hao’s eyes almost popped out.
“Haozi, be careful!” Lu Chengfu and Jian Chongying were so scared that their souls almost left their bodies. Lu Chengfu’s mind was blank, and without thinking, he threw out the talisman which he had been clutching tightly in his hand. With a loud bang, there was an explosion of thunder and a crack of lightning! It struck the blade with a thud, and the blade clattered to the ground. More than half the blade instantly cracked, and it was followed by a mournful and eerie howl.
Seizing the moment, Lu Chengfu immediately picked up the talisman that was a little darker now and, together with Jian Chongying, picked Qi Hao up and ran.
