Chapter 220 – Oh, poor Duchess Capet. (3)
Duchess Capet answered her question right away.
Fang JunRong took a look at the main page and it was obvious an account that was newly created. Her profile was a selfie with her smooth and bright blonde hair being the focus in the picture. Duchess Capet’s obsession over her hair shone though her profile picture.
Fang JunRong then looked at the posts that Duchess Capet had posted so far. She could find her self-introduction. And the post that she had re-posted had been deleted, most likely because of the complaint against her.
[Hi Everyone. This is the real Duchess Capet. I am so glad that I can to my Chinese friends.]
Fang JunRong speculated that that was a machine translated message. That being said, it could also be the handy work of the handsome translator boy that she had hired.
There was a surprising amount of comment below her message.
[Here we go again, another one trying to leech off of Duchess Capet’s popularity! Wake up and sell the roses already. She has an account overseas. There was no reason why she would register for an account here.]
[This one even leeched off of Boss Fang’s popularity. That’s too much! And she even said that she had used the Hair Growing Cream before. Preposterous! The Hair Growing Cream is not even hitting the market for another couple of days. What was she trying to pull here?]
[I have already reported her. No need to thank me! The Hair Growing Cream hasn’t even hit the market yet. Isn’t this a bit early even for water army? Are you hired by some competitor?]
[Oh, I saw that the post that was spreading rumors had already been removed. All of my sisters were too trigger-happy. We should have waited until over 500 reposts before we report her.]
Fang JunRong facepalmed. She didn’t need to see it to figure out what Duchess Capet had written in her post. She probably raved about the product as someone who had used it in the past but was reported by fans of Fang JunRong thinking that it was spreading rumors.]
Oh, poor Duchess Capet.
As much as she felt bad for Duchess Capet, Fang JunRong still couldn’t help but laughed out loud.
Truth was, as tragic as it may sound, it was also somewhat absurd, very Duchess Capet style.
Rubbing her temples, Fang JunRong said to Duchess Capet, “Why don’t you go and have your identity verified and proof that you are who you said you are first?”
“I guess. What a hassle.” Duchess Capet complained about it for a while longer before her spirit returned. “Okay. You wait for me to advertise for you!”
She didn’t say how she was going to achieve that, and that made even Fang JunRong curious.
Fang JunRong felt that the incident of Duchess Capet being reported was just a small incident and didn’t think much of it.
Some other companies, on the other hand, had made a special note of this incident.
Many related brands were eyeing the newly launched Hair Growing Cream closely. It was obvious to all that once the Hair Growing Cream was launched, as long as its quality was as good as it had boasted, it would for sure take over a large share of the market. The market space was limited and everyone wanted a cut of it. Not to mention that Fang JunRong was known to be a lone wolf who didn’t work with others.
They would not just sit back and wait for their share to be reduced and would create the opportunities to drag down Fang JunRong if they had to. Not to mention the opportunity that was handed over to them by Fang JunRong.
That was right, as far as they were concerned, the “The Real Mattia Capet” account was doubtless an water army hired by Fang JunRong. Except that they weren’t very good at their job and screwed up on their work by posting their article before the product was even launched.
It would be a shame to not take advantage of an error like this.
